Hey guys! That bay was so beautiful, honestly the island itself is just so relaxing. Saying that, we’ve heard it gets pretty busy during high season with tourists but looks like we just missed that - it was such a relaxing few days! Thanks 😊
Thanks for the video as I've heard others talk about how there was a lot to do on and from Cat Ba, but yours was the first video to show all the activities. The views are spectacular, for sure, but I wanted to know what was up in that dark 2nd story hospital. Ghosts? Zombies? Come on, don't leave us hanging! LOL! I loved that hike you guys did as that's my type of activity and then to see the view from the top was spectacular...but that secret sunset view was breathtaking! I would have loved to visit there as there are so few tourists around to be loud and noisy and ruin all the beautiful and soothing nature sounds.
To this day we still think Cat Ba was one of our favourite places yet - we were super exhausted but glad we crammed everything in! Such a fun place!! And glad we went when it was quiet, it was cold yes but at least it was quiet haha. Hahaha the spooky 2nd floor will forever be a mystery 😁

Hello. Which hotel do you recommend to stay near the night attractions, grocery stores and if possible near to a Nice beach ? Thank you !
Hi, we stayed at "Galaxy Cat Ba Hotel Elite" - it was very good value for money, very cheap and close to restaurants, shops and walking distance to the beaches :) we are on a small budget though, so it depends on your budget, there will be better options if you have more to spend!
Would you mind letting me know the location you went to get that absolutely incredible secret sunset view? Had a quick google but not sure I got the right place. I'm heading to Cat Ba Island this April and am very much hoping to get a sunset watch in!
It's called "beautiful sunset" on Google maps, but exact address is "P3G4+95H, TT. Cát Bà, Cát Hải, Hải Phòng, Vietnam" - one of these should work! Once you get there it won't be immediately obvious but just off the road there's a set of stairs in the bushes and you need to go up those, sounds so sketchy but it's worth it 😂 hope you have an amazing time!
