This should be the main theme of Fruits Basket. Furuba is about melting the snow (outgrowing insecurities, letting go of the past, forgiveness, acceptance of one self, and just being yourself, overcoming anxieties, taking risks) in each characters' hearts so their love and life matures and radiates.
Personally, even though it’s not the main theme, I do strongly associate it with Tohru, the main character. Actually, when I tried looking it up the first time, I typed “Tohru’s theme” into the search bar.

I loved the first Fruits Basket but I absolutely love the new one. They put so much emotion to it especially the music it reminds me a lot of Clannad tbh.
My most favorite scene was when Uo-Chan was sitting in Tohru's house after getting injured and the sun rays surrounded the living room. You could even hear distant cars honking and kids bidding farewell to each other. It's so peaceful to where you can hear the gust of wind brush by. Sometimes life can be so chaotic to where we break because we can't keep up. Having those small moments to give us a chance to slow down and look around is really lightening. Thanks for this track 😊
Yes it's exactly little things like this that always made my eyes glisten with tears- Arisa realizing how much she wanted an ordinary life with a warm home where the lights lit up in the evening and one could smell dinner being cooked, and Saki being happy that on her way home her shadow wasn't alone anymore. I'm fucking bawling my eyes out when this ost was playing during the last conversation between tohru and yuki in the last episode. The fact that the series started with Yuki and Tohru and it ended with them (of course Tohru ended up with kyo but I'm talking about the strong details emphasized here Yuki being the first Soma that Tohru became friends with and the series ending it on that note). Yuki also called Tohru now by her first name. Goddamn it it'll take some time for me to get over this show but nevertheless, thank you fruits basket!

Everyone in fruits basket went through so much, but they didn’t give up. My favorite part from fruits basket season 2 is probably when Rin hugged tohru. It made me realize that sometimes we all need a hug to release the pain. I want to be hugged by someone like tohru too and forget all the pain.

I wondered what it would be like, back in 2019, when Furuba the Redux began. I wondered what it would be like, knowing that this was going to be an amazing anime, and realizing that there would be music that was bound to become nostalgic to me to or beyond the level of nostalgia that I have for the old 2001 Furuba music. The 2001 music is cute, and the Momiji Memories scene with Tohru back then still makes me cry. But this music - this music right here - was written and executed with heart and feels, and I love it very much.
I'm crying. I finished the show last night ans it was simply amazing. Everything I hoped for and more as someone who read the entire Manga and watched the original. Truely the most beautiful anime ever created.

@@melanysoto8642 When I read the manga, I loved Kyoko so much, I already loved her character in the old anime but the manga consolidated my feelings towards her, Kyoko made me think that I wanted to be liker her, even as a mother "If I ever become a mother, I want to be like her"

Fruits basket deals with a lot of fragile and sensitive emotional combats in our daily life in a more accurate way and it's the most relatable SOL anime I've ever watched
It's not just love rather the connection itself
It's the only shoujo where the main lead ship totally thinks as much as we do and they understand each other in a way that makes them fall so much for each other
That's why fruits basket should be watched by everyone cause it has the most humane depictions that could really help people to have a change of perspective and be emphatic
The warmth that this anime has provided me I will never forget in my lifetime. By seeing the tohru smile and comforting others it feels like she is comforting me. Each and every episode is special and has something to offer you. Never felt bored while watching this series, instead I was always excited for next episode. I really don't want this to end. I really love tohru, I will miss her, her kindness, her warmth ✨

I just finished all 3 seasons. The happiness and tears that Fruit Basket brought to me is heartbreakingly painful yet precious. Each characters pain and back story really made me cry 😭😭😭

at the same time, I could hear the phrase, "It's okay to feel sad and weak. It's okay, everything will be fine" from this music.

Fruits Basket is really an amazing fucking ride and story. I will forever miss this masterpiece. This is one of the best if not the best shoujo of all time. It made it into my top 10 anime of all time.

fruits basket is really that manga which taught me how to be kind when i was still young and clueless and this new anime adaptation has brought it to life so well😭, it'll always have a special place in my heart, can't wait for the upcoming movie where we'll get more kyoru!!!!
I'm fucking bawling my eyes out when this ost was playing during the last conversation between tohru and yuki in the last episode.
The fact that the series started with Yuki and Tohru and it ended with them (of course Tohru ended up with kyo but I'm talking about the strong details emphasized here Yuki being the first Soma that Tohru became friends with and the series ending it on that note). Yuki also called Tohru now by her first name.
Goddamn it it'll take some time for me to get over this show but nevertheless, thank you fruits basket!

Everyone in fruits basket went through so much, but they didn’t give up. My favorite part from fruits basket season 2 is probably when Rin hugged tohru. It made me realize that sometimes we all need a hug to release the pain. I want to be hugged by someone like tohru too and forget all the pain.
this song sparks an immaculate emotion in me everytime I hear the first few notes of the piano. Fruits basket ost’s have the most heartfelt masterpieces of music that describes the characters emotions in such a beautiful way! Honestly My fav !

Just finish it yesterday (Sun, 06 Feb 2022). This series is really has warm feeling. Every character story is really matter.

I wondered what it would be like, back in 2019, when Furuba the Redux began. I wondered what it would be like, knowing that this was going to be an amazing anime, and realizing that there would be music that was bound to become nostalgic to me to or beyond the level of nostalgia that I have for the old 2001 Furuba music. The 2001 music is cute, and the Momiji Memories scene with Tohru back then still makes me cry. But this music - this music right here - was written and executed with heart and feels, and I love it very much.
I'm crying. I finished the show last night ans it was simply amazing. Everything I hoped for and more as someone who read the entire Manga and watched the original. Truely the most beautiful anime ever created.
