It's weird that w1s ss are 11mm and omni ss are 10mm. That's right at my threshold between seal and no seal. W1s 11 fit me perfectly, but Divinus Velvet ss are 10.6 iirc and don't give me a seal. Risky purchase but I will give them a go.
Let me know how it went :-) I really love these with longer and medium-long nozzle IEMs, they give me an almost perfect fit. Only on shorter nozzle I can't get them to fit and I wish they would sell packs of 3 with e.g. SS, S and MS...
@@Divionist Perfect seal can be pretty tricks to achieve. Especially when the companies don't give you the option for variety size pack. I do mostly struggle with long nozzle IEMs in that aspect...
@@don_spektor Yea, it's a bummer companies do that. In the case of Divinus, the variety pack was 5 pairs instead of the standard 3 that most companies do. Because of that, the cost of the 5 pairs variety pack was a lot more than the standard 3 pair pack of the same size which sucks. What am I going to do with the ML (med-large) and L (large) sizes as well as the other two sizes that I'm likely not going to use 😑 My plan for spinfits is to order off amazon, try the sizes, then return the one that doesn't give that perfect fit. I've never tried return-refund on aliexpress since some people have said it's a hassle, or the company doesn't give you your refund.
@@Divionist Good plan. I didn't have to return something to aliexpress yet, but I had a few replacements due to damaged goods and at least that worked fine^^
Heya, great work on these reviews man :D One small detail: it's "definitely", and not "definitively"! Not meaning to be a grammar nazi here, really! English is not my first language as well, so I get how easy it is to mix up things sometimes..! By the way, would you mind reviewing the Fiio HS18 eartips? They're very very thin (0.4 mm, they claim!) and soft, and I've read good things about them, if you can get a seal, that is!
Ahh, yes of course. Stupid me making stupid German mistakes. I'll try to do it better in the future! Thank you for the correction, appreciate it :-) I had the HS18 on my list too. However, Fiio now also has liquid silicone tips that I personally find more interesting and I will see if they are on sale during 11.11 sale before I check out the HS18. Or maybe both are on sale, then I get both :-)
I've caved in and tried the HS18: great concept and great potential, but they were too thin for my weird ear canals, and didn't seal and/or collapsed! I also tried the HS20, the liquid silicone ones: same story, great potential, but a bit too thin, and the bore opening was a bit stiff, not squishy enough! It's a pity, I can see that for the right ears these could be phenomenal..! Well, the quest for the perfect fit contonues :D I was thinking about trying CP100+, in XL (14mm), as of now only the 14mm Azla Origins are okayish for me. The W1 were almost there, but 13,5mm doesn't quite cut it! Great job on your reviews man, super informative and I appreciate the format! : )
@@igotbluesdevils Thank you, glad I could help and also thank for for writing your impressions :-) I did also check out the Origin some time ago... But I'm exactly on the opposite spectrum of ear: very small and shorter ear-canal, which means the Origin definitively won't be for me^^
@@igotbluesdevilsI agree, fiio hs 18 and hs20 have amazing sound quality and comfort but unfortunately they almost nullifies the noise canceling of the erbuds..
I haven't tried W1, but compared to CP145 yes. I think the Omni have the best shape so far. And judging from the picture of the W1 I doubt it'll do better than the Omni, but I'm not certain with this opinion. Will probably get the W1 when it's on sale on 11.11 to be clear on this one.
I did not have the W1 so far, but judging from it being longer, the Omni will absolutely be the better choice for me and I assume when you do not have very short nozzles also for most people.
Great review bro 😊
Thank you :-)

I just got the velvet standards (s) 10.6mm and they seal well, but like you, not a perfect seal.

Great very detailed review, but for the love of god, please take care of your nails 😅
Thank you and yes, they were cut like a day after the review ;-)
