- Kashmiri version of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' - 'Kus Bani Koshur Karorpaet'
The much awaited DD show Kus Bani Koshur Karorpaet (Who wants to be a millionaire) went on air tonight at 8 pm on Doordarshan’s Kashir Channel.
The show will be telecast from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm from April 29 - July 6, 2019.
The host for the show is a popular face and a well known Kashmiri actor Raees Mohiuddin.
The show is akin to the Hindi KBC hosted by Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Anyone who can speak Kashmiri, hailing from any part of the world, can participate in the show, if registered successfully earlier during the registration process.
The show provides an opportunity to the people of Kashmir to share their personal experiences and stories of their achievements.
About 1, 25, 000 people attempted to register for the show and about 15, 000 were successful registrants. The final contestants to play the ‘fastest fingers first’ were selected after appearing for a written test and camera auditions.

She said that she had read 'Know your state' of j&k but i think she have'nt read it thoroughly. The last question of Nihal for 25 lakhs was not very typical. I was sure about the answer that it's Er.Suya & on his name Spore town's name was given as 'Sopore'. Er.Suya was the only famous engineer during Awantivarman's time.

My parents are from Azad Jammu Kashmir but I was born in Punjab...I think their accent of Kashmiri is little bit different from AJK, Anyways I love this show💜 Love from Pakistan🇵🇰
This is Kashmiri totally different from the language spoken in Azad Kashmir, This is an Aryan Daradic tongue and the language of the Kalasa and Shina both Daradic tongues are close to Kashmiri. You can not understand Kashmiri.

Although many ppl criticized u sister. But, I myself have encountered with many ppl who lack the proper kashmiri accent. But, thats not overacting. U can over react for Sometime tym bt really very difficult to overreact continuously. So, if u are reading the comments be happy, you played well and ignore the haters. You played very well. Indeed u are knowledge bank, i like your accent sister. Being a girl myself we should respect each and every girl. My personal view is that she has being brought up with language other than kashmiri.
