I love how they really are involving us with these releases over the last couple of years. Teases on the boxes and teases in the live streams and extra releases from the designers. I guess this is what you get when you have fans designing your toys. I have really loved Legacy.
Why didn't we get the G2 Decepticons even in those colors i know we got a Buzzworthy Ransack But that woulda been great missed opportunity for a combiner.
I'm personally going to wait for a toy/game color one. I didn't really watch the show as a kid, but that fight is one of the most memorable gaming moments for me. That one is what I imagine when I think of Tidal Wave.
I don't know if I'm going to wait... But am I the only one that really likes the toy head? I was kinda surprised when I saw the final head on this guy.
My question is why would decepticons be fighting tidal wave? They’re on the same side, so obviously the random characters have be autobots of some kind. Edit: what we need to figure out is if these generic characters are using designs of upcoming figures or not. If I had to guess, the colors they have on the box probably aren’t necessary enough to look into.
Legacy is a sorta secret wars thing where everyone is chucked from their universe into this sorta battleword wasteland cybertron so cross faction alliances make sense.
Hear me out... the 6 bots are the Multiforce from Victory. Since they're fighting Tidal Wave they're Autobots, it's a team of six, that would knock out more Victory characters, and most of the colors match up. They could release them as another core class combiner, or possibly do a whole Landcross set as a commander class as a larger scale. They really seem to be working through Victory, & with the trend of easter eggs in these bigger ticket box arts, I can't believe these are just some rando bots with no hint to what's coming.
I'd be so pumped if they did LeoKaiser and be pissed because I preorder the fans toys ones lol. I don't think that would make sense though cause they are fighting Tidalwave.
I wonder how hard it would be to make an upgrade/conversion kit to make the miniature versions of the dark fleet into a fully transformable Tidal Wave in his own right....
I think they should of added a figure like a deluxe maybe armada thrust to help with smaller size and ya ramjet should have been included... It's annoying they are pulling this with a titan.
I hear that. It's taking way to gosh darn long for it to be completed as a Walmart exclusive that's a nightmare to complete. Especially when the jerks don't properly maintain their own exclusive stocks in store or online for that matter. And I don't want to wait 3 more years for them to slowly trickle out the rest of the team one figure a year. It's bs to have to wait 5 years to complete a non masterpiece combiner team. Its garbage like this that makes me hate the concept of exclusives with a passion.
That green one in particular looks a lot like Animated Wasp. He even has a similar head shape, so I'm hoping that's a confirmation of Wasp in some way, shape, or form.
blue bot doing the crotch shooting really feels like the dead end legacy mold, and the red car with wheels almost feels like lightspeed? but that make toys one wierdly enough? Potentially even that supposed Headmasters colours/head Pointblank. The rest are a bit harder to place visually, but also getting action master vibes from a few. So 50/50 on whether this is actual teases or just artist having fun - Armada Thrust sneaking onto hoshots box background was looking very much like an incoming earthrise seeker retool.. untill it was debunked. OR WAS IT?!
That would be amazing. Especially since that would also mean a return of power master Optimus Prime aka Super Ginrai done properly without forcing the headmaster gimmic on him. And hopefully God bomber into the american market line. Although I'd like to see him get commander class treatment so he still gets regular prime mode as well as his power master companion. Although a titan class set of God Ginrai would be epic too, but Not sure they'd want to go that route, since the only real repaint I think they'd be able to do is a Nemesis God Ginrai. And yes I'm aware I'm probably miss spelling Ginrai, but unfortunately there isn't much I can do to fix that since I'm blind. And I'm having difficulty finding anything that will properly spell it out loud for me.

Call me crazy, but the one on the far right (brown & purple) looks a little like Transmetal 1 Megatron. You can even almost see two bright red dots where the faux eyes on his chest would go. His overall form doesn't match up 100% (and I don't know why he'd be fighting Tidal Wave), but that was what came to my mind first.
Because Beast Wars Megs hates boats for some reason?... Or perhaps Tidal Wave sunk a shipment of Meg's favorite burritos? It didn't take much for that Megatron to attack one of his own team. "YOU DID WHAT TO MY RUBBER DUCKY?!" [Then blasts terrorsaur in the face.]
So my guess of hotshot, Jetfire, and sideswipe was off from the blurry photos but they don’t look like any armada characters they look like minicons, the background characters from the show, or the colours look very G2 like there purple/orange, yellow/teal, purple/green. I don’t think it’s the combaticons or stunticons due to not all the colours are there like a white/purple blastoff or a teal/purple breakdown. The yellow/teal guy looks to have that truck window chest so yellow/teal truck character who do we have for that, the white/blue guy might be tailgate/joyride repaint, slapdash would be nice to see and the shape lines up well, the red/yellow/blue guy a bit to hard to make out, then the green/purple and orange/purple hard to say

Starscrem and Bruticus have rebelled against Megatron. Tidal wave is loyal to Megatron.

Hmm. That yellow and purple/blue fella looks like he could be either Impactor or maybe Armada Smokescreen.
The red one on the far right looks just like Botcon Pyro to me. I’d kill for a new actually accessible Pyro

The flying carbot reminds me of Sparkplug.
I'd rather have the ram jet than the mini parts for Megatron. For me it's a waste of plastic.

Until you isolated the red rando from the box art I thought it was a cybertron games auto trooper in red.
