The warrior is strong yet his sleep is fragile. His wisdom: an amalgamation of precedent yet his decisions cannot be based on the frailties of man. He is, rather, fuelled by divine inspiration ascending from the heart. He knows not anger and only fears the unknown. The warrior does not judge for his true assignment is to deliver evidence of superior behaviour to the Creator of all men. The warrior does not dream of frontiers, he only sees horizons. The warrior is a creature of irony for his genuine task is to ensure peace. The true warrior knows, accepts and embraces, above all, integrity, which is his course in life; reason and the application of reason, which is his only weapon; and forgiveness, the one true cleansing virtue. And only when one can fully absorb these most divine of all virtues can one at last see how impossible and futile it is to make war.

Merely stating that you want a guest on his show is "brown nosing" Joe Rogan?
It's probably just that you're upset at some of Rogans opinions and you don't have good counterarguments, so you have to hate on the guy all over the internet. That's what spineless people do.

Erol - simply because he is an eccentric. He's his own man, speaks differently to most, dresses differently, drives customised trucks, the list goes on. He basically isn't a sheep and that can rub some sheep up the wrong way. I've too been a fan of Eubank since I was a kid..simply the best sang by Tina Turna was his entrance song, his entrances to the ring used to make hairs stand up and they still do each time I hear that song. He is a true warrior, legend, fighter, gentleman and much more. mcgregor will be pleased hearing his kind but true words spoken of him. Enjoy the fight men.. I'm team Conor

I remember watching the tragic Eubank vs Watson second fight as a kid. Despite the result of it (which illustrated what a warrior Watson was outside the ring making a recovery nobody believed was possible) it was one of the greatest displays of character ever. Eubank knew he was beat in the 6th round but would not yield, the fight had so much drama... before this fight I was cheering against Eubank thinking him arrogant (as the media portrayed him as the villain) and that fight converted me to his side. Great autobiography too, his accounts of some of his fights are enlightening.

A class act, always insightful, entertaining and full of wisdom. A true warrior. A British boxing legend. He should not fight again though and neither should Nigel Benn (another British boxing legend) Age gracefully Chris. That is true humility.

David McKinnon "Personally I think humanity needs to get over grouping itself into the socially constructed idea of nationality"
Exactly, nationality is "socially constructed" and it's often nonsensical to group each other in that way so why did you just do it? You just grouped him in to a socially constructed nationality group whereas as I was arguing against your socially constructed grouping by pointing out that he isn't English.
"Clearly, there's a chauvinistic agenda at play here by claiming "he's not English"."
What "chauvinistic agenda" is at play? I was merely pointing out a fact of objective biological reality.

Unbelievable interview, high level boxer with an open mind and speaking actual facts, not ruling out the possibility of a McGregor win with legitimate reasons. I do Boxing and MMA and the Boxing side of things are always more closed minded to new training techniques or ways to approach training and fights compared to MMA.

I've always liked Chris Eubank. Ariel was a great interviewer...basically let him speak and didn't enforce an agenda on him. The best interview I think ever done on the MMA hour. This man is majestic and a genius. Nothing but respect to him. The blueprint he laid out about him vs Steve Collins I mentioned that yesterday morning in the video he mentioned about I think thats the only way Conor would win is to attack Mayweather the way Collins did to Eubank. Of course with the luck of the Irish and the Celtic spirits to help him cause he will need it all! His chin has to hold for this fight in order to win and he has to give it twice as hard.

What an amazing man. I'm ashamed I've never heard of him or seen any of his other interviews prior to this one. Normally when I hear a fighter (or any athlete really) talking about philosophy it comes across as forced or insincere, like they're just giving a soundbite, but this man is extremely sharp and believable. What a great interview! Would be nice to see him return to the MMA Hour for a multi-hour conversation, he's extremely well spoken.

Chris Eubank recently received high praise in the UK for his advice to his son . For those of you that don't know, Eubank Snr was involved in a fight against Michael Watson in 1991 where Watson was in a coma for 40 days after and suffered brain damaged, never recovering. Eubank's son was fighting for the British middleweight title in March 2016 against Nick Blackwell, Eubank was clearly winning and Blackwell had huge swelling around his eye. Eubank Snr went to his son's corner in round 8 and was heard to say “If the referee doesn’t stop it, I don’t know what to tell you, but I will tell you this, if he doesn’t stop it, and you keep beating him like this, one, he’s getting hurt, why hasn’t he stopped the fight? I don’t get why, so maybe you shouldn’t leave it to the referee. Now you’re not going to take him out to the face, you’re going to take him out to the body.” The fight was stopped in round 10 and Blackwell was rushed to intensive care and placed in a coma. A very classy act.

I remember years ago when he was fighting, there was an interview and they asked him about his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also drove a peterbuilt truck around too, thing was awesome 👍

His parents and family are proud to have this champion of boxing and letters. Why the English media ridicule him is madness or jealousy. However, this is one of the best interviews and comment section. A great interview by a smart showman with deep understanding of the stage, and entertaining. I was fan during his boxing days and still a fan. Thank you Ariel.
