With all the talk more electrification in Formula 1 power units, I can't help the thinking that the team that has a background slot car racing from the 60s would have an advantage considering they were powered by electric motors. So it seems the future of racing is going to be oversized slot cars with drivers added. And who knows maybe they'll eliminate the drivers as well. After all they have to make it safer don't they? I for one I will miss the sounds, smells and danger of auto racing. Those were the things that got me into auto racing in the first place. If auto racing was completely safe, I would have probably not gotten into a race car. But then that's era I grew up in.
2026 testing is going to be so interesting! New regulations, 2 new engine manufacturers! Can't wait to see how good the Ford and Audi engines are. Bring it on! Yeah I agree, that Aston Martin should change to Honda. If they want to take the next step and realistically fight for a championship, it would be easier to do not being a customer team. Same for Mclaren.
@rsw why is Honda starting again? Red Bull will still be using Honda till the end of 2025. Just like Merc, they'll be developing the new engine and power unit between now and then.

Going to get real spicy!
Yeah but Honda is starting again, rbr are new, audi are new…Mercedes are surely the safe bet

I'd rather hope Red Bull stay with Honda
Keep dreaming. Ferrari and merc have a bigger and better probability of surpassing the green force india, than the green team has of beating RedBull.
