Hey guys! Thank you all so so much for the massive positive response on the last episode of this series, we're really having fun doing this and are planning on doing at least one of these videos a months so be sure to keep requesting stuff for us to watch! As always I chose the songs based both on what is currently popular within kpop as well as songs that I think my friends will enjoy/is their style/I haven't already shown them! Also for those of you wondering I put KARD in as a girl groups since I really wanted to show my friends them in a video since they were so highly requested but I obviously had to choose whether I would put them in the gg or bg video so this is just how it worked out! Its why KARD is so popular amongst international fans, their sound is just more familiar and relatable. It'll be interesting if you explore the genres a little, instead of just idol groups. Like k-hip hop, k-indie, k-rnb. AKMU, Lee Hi, Dean, Jay Park, Bewhy, Zico, Crush, Zion T etc.

Oh and all three of them are fully Korean. Except for the orange-haired LISA. Jisoo,Jennie,and Rose are all Korean!! Jennie studied at New Zealand and Rose has two citizenship! (One Korea, One Australia)
they might have 2 nationalities, but growing up on another country is a being cultural influence, and that probably reflects on the amount of international fans they have, cause their sound is more western than other k-pop, and better english, ya know xD And Rosé having korean citizenship doesn't mean much, cause she even had problems speaking korean, and even thought she got better, she still has. There was a singer that said he wanted to help with Rosés korean since she clearly isn't confortable speaking it, and fans have asked her how she got better in korean, that's why I know xD
Are you saying that their Korea Citizenship is meaningless?? If you are saying so, I think that's rude, b/c they ARE Korean, and they know it themselves. I'm sorry but Rosé doesn't have any problems with speaking Korean. I've actually watched the whole version of the show, where Rosé sang in Korean, and a man saying 'I think she is from abroad'. But that's just Rosé's unique accent. She doesn't have a SINGLE problem speaking Korean.
She said herself she had problems with korean in the begginning. Now she's much better because she trained with the other girls. But I guess you know that better than me xD I'm just saying what she and her koreans fans said, cause I don't know that much.
Well, I didn't want to say that her citizenship is meaningless. It's not (choosed the wrong words :o Sorry) I'm just saying that growing abroad has many influences on you, more than the place you come from. She probably feels korean, and loves korea, but she probably sees New Zealand as her hometown. Idk how to explain without sounding rude. I didn't want to be rude at all xD It's just what I believe it is. I have a friend from china that was born in my country and raised here and she has a lot of troubles and cultural differences with her parents, which is really sad. I guess in her case it isn't that sad cause korean-new zealand there isn't such a big cultural gap as there is in China-europeans countries.
What I meant is that in the video they were talking about cultural influences, and I guess for Rose, the biggest cultural influence is from New Zealand, unless she had only get along with her family or in a korean community... I don't know about that. I hope you understand what I wanted to say :S
