Jack, an idea you might try, is to place a piece of copper or brass in the hole, then weld around it. The weld wont stick to the non-ferrous metal, as its dissimilar. When you're done welding it, punch the non-ferrous metal out, and it should be easier to clean up . The non-ferrous metal is also good for welding cracks as it helps to draw out the heat causing less distortion. It also can add a bit of stiffness to the area as well. This use of copper or brass is most often used by automotive body repair shops.
Jack, in the unlikely event that at some point you cant get an inner tube for your tyre, you could purchase a repair valve stem and patch combo. It would go in a new location, so the old location would need to be patched. In most cases, the replacement valve stem combo might be less expensive than a new tube.
Hi Great video thank you. I need a new parking brake and clutch brake for mine aswell but cannot find on Ebay . Please could you post a link to the products you bought? Much appreciated!
I have the electric version, it lasts 10 hours of continuous work on one charge. They is a hydraulic dump option now. I load it with about 1600 pounds, that's 400 over the limit and I have no problems with it. I need to figure out a way to install a radio control system on it
Is it a Belle model or different brand, there are a few. Electric feels like the way of the future for small machines, remote sounds fun but you’d still have to walk with it to see what you’re doing…but doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be cool!
I don’t know if it’s the same but I suspect it’ll be extremely similar, the transaxle appeared to be a well made thing, so probably from a transmission manufacturer that produces them for lots of machines

I like that idea thanks! I’ll have to remember that when I have to repair an exact sized hole it’ll save a lot of time.
Smashing success! When stick welding use about 15 degrees of angle.
You made that look way harder than it needed to be.

Just had a look and the listing had gone now, I just searched for ‘BMD300 clutch’ and handle comes up? If not try L&S Engineers or HTS Spares?

When i saw the wheels i thought they are tiller wheels. Then i saw it only has 4 bolts and not 8. So when changing the tube its more complicated.
I’m not great with tyre levers either! I always manage to pinch the inner tubes
Is the transaxle unit the same as those fitted to Westwood lawn tractors as they have a very similar disc brake setup?
