Fun video! Regarding parking, t's best not to drive downtown anyway. If possible, take the subway or GO Train. They both take you right into Union station and Scotiabank Arena is connected to it. You won't even have to step outside to get into the arena.
100% great tip!

Love watching your videos!! Keep it up!!
Thank you!
Love the Mathew’s goal talk and great video! Keep it up
Awesome! Thank you!
that's what I've been thinking too......Matthews is the only player right now that could really break the record that's if Ovie doesn't play until he's 45...... Ovie could have broken the record a long time ago......sadly he's pushing 40 and they want him to break it ..... either they open the net for Ovie or he will have work hard to break that record..... Matthews has to stay healthy though otherwise he can kiss that record goodbye
You're insane with regards to Matthew's and the all time goal record. Dude won't finish within 100 goals of gretzky

Great video first off, one of my goals in life as a hockey player and fan is to travel to see a Leafs game in Toronto. Toronto is the mecca of hockey.
Hope you get to make it soon!
love the video, Keep up the good work!!!!
@@thickpops thanks so much!!
Love the vids keep up the great content
@Decan-v6q thank you so much!
@ yea np
Cool video dude! I doubt Il ever be able to visit a leafs home game so I live the experience through videos like this 🤙🤙
Hoping you get to see one soon!
Very useful (for a foreigner, like me, who 'd love to go see a Leafs' game). I think food and drinks prices are over the roof! I guess that helps pay Matthews, Nylander and Marner
Hopefully you get to come watch a game soon!
@@RobertGreeley I was saving for the flight (from france) and housing but now I realize I also have to save for the beer!! hahaha
@@kantstenchonthemel5641 wishing you safe travels and hope you enjoy yourself!
Prices for food and drinks were already through the roof when the Leafs were tanking with Kessel, Phaneuf, Bozak and Bernier.
MLSE just really really like making money
@@stevendchu it's 10€ to attend a game in my hometown and the beer is 3€ But we don't have big names! although recently we had a canadian player called Joachim Bergeron which sounds quite fancy!
great video Robert, if you can, could you try do a video on the Vancouver Canucks like this, currently from the UK and planning to make a trip over to Vancouver, would love to see a Canucks game but not too sure how much it will be roughly over there :)
@@_JD80 we did do a video at a Canucks game! Safe travels 🙌
@@RobertGreeley Thanks Robert just watched it, great insight on it, if you can should try the UK EIHL, league one of the smaller leagues in europe but quite a good atmosphere at Sheffield Steelers, they were recently in the CHL but got knocked out.
Hey Robert I’m the one who gave the idea for this video and thanks so much for doing it!🎉
Hope you enjoyed the video!
It's been 57 years since the Toronto Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup in 1967. Paying $238 for a ticket to watch a team without a championship run in nearly six decades seems excessive. Toronto might need to reevaluate its pricing strategy to reflect performance history and fan expectations.
I mean the thing is though people are buying the tickets and they're filling seats
No they don't. Leaf games are always sold out. Even during the Ballard era at the gardens when their number 1 center was Krushelnyski, they still sold out. The Leafs are the envy of most NHL teams and a welcome visitor to their arenas since Leaf fans are everywhere.
I knew I was walking behind you at this game lol! Would have said hello but traffic in the concourse was wild due to the renovations.
Always feel free to say hello!
@@RobertGreeley I'm sure I'll see ya at another one sometime, I go to a lot of hockey games
great video again, never change robert, you seem to be a great guy :)
Appreciate the kind words Dan!
03:52 - so cool to see a Sheffield Steelers fan there in a #75 Dowd jersey 😁🇬🇧🍊
Indeed!
Thabks for pointing that out! Love to see it
Just noticed I made it into Robert’s video. Was good to bump into him and chat. Hopefully see you in Sheffield! Great vid 👍🏼
Should have purchased a $66 standing room ticket and saved $6. Scoped out a open seat at rink level and claim it as your own by third period. There is a few bars around the upper level that sell tall boys for $14.75-$15.50 Snag your brewski and head to the open seat. Thats exactly what I did at this same game. The seat I took was valued at $675. Two beers for $29.50 plus a $66 ticket to sit front row for 1/3 of the game was $95.50 😎
See I'd personally rather seats in the 300 for viewing down low is good for the content though
I'd rather sit in the 300s....with someone.
That’s me behind the ducks net recording in the Plymouth Whalers jersey lol, great video also!
Thanks Kyle! Hope you enjoyed the game!
Damnnn I was at that game! Great videos man keep em coming!
Glad you enjoyed!
Can you please do this for the Toronto Blue Jays?
It would be crazy considering
(a) they actually let you bring your own food into the dome
(b) he could go on Loonie Dogs Night!
I sent this comment to my buddy who works for the Jays and he told me I have to go on Loonie dog night and eat 99 of them 😭😂
I've been to lots of Jays games for under $50 total. $30 for a 500 level seat and $6 beers at the Dugout Deals booth near section 537. You could but a $20 ticket in the 500 level outfield but you don't get a designated seat. And as previously mentioned you can bring your own outside food to the game. It's actually one of the best cheapest forms of entertainment in the city.
Dead on with Matthew's math. It's as simple as Ovi breaking it with a .58 goals/game throughout his career and matthews has scored at .68 goals/game assuming health and longevity it's going to be his
Will see what happens!
Biggest thing hindering Matthews getting that record is that he gets injured to much, He would stay healthy for 80 or so games each season for liek next... 12? 13? 15? seasons to each Ovie and Gretzky and the goal scoring wont stay this level or go up all that time
Interesting point!
i wouldnt pay more then 25.00 to see the leafs play IN the arena especially playing the ducks. 13.00 for 4 mini wraps, get real., bring your own chips or nuts from 1.00 store, no wonder this generation is going homeless.
Wish I could keep watching this... go be a ducks fan...
Lmao weirdo
I mean you can keep watching
Hey Robert, my family and I are from Australia and we are on holidays in Canada. We were at the same game! It was a pretty good atmosphere but the next game against the Sabres was even better. The food was crazy expensive but we did find a chipotle style wrap and chips for under $10 which was great. Where are you headed next? We are going to the Habs vs Wings game in Montreal on the 21st Dec.
Glad you enjoyed the game, I'm heading to Switzerland next!
Better a Ducks fan than a Leafs fan ;)
Also 18 bucks for a beer? Oof
Hope you have even better experiences at Habs games :D
Hope you enjoyed the video!
You should do $100 at a Atlanta Falcons game. I know its not hockey related but ive heard they have the lowest priced consession prices. That would be interesting to see.
We do all sports here!
Can you show how to get to the leafs game from the go train to the arena?
Lolol I have no idea how any of that works
Really fun video
Glad you liked it!
All-time goals record? How many does Gretzky have? Matthews for sure has been one of the most skilled players in Leafs history.
Gretzky's goal record is 894!
@RobertGreeley wayne thought his goal record would be the most difficult to break
The value for what you get going into this building vs what you pay is totally not worth it anymore. Heck I went to a playoff game when they got to the 2nd round for the first time in 19 years, it still felt like a regular season atmosphere in there. As far as parking goes the best option is still probably around Novotel, it had lots of parking and price is pretty reasonable for the area still. It's a bit of a walk especially in winter but not like one does it every day.
Thanks for the insight!
EAT BEFORE YOU GO TO THE GAME!
Great tip!
If im getting food i get either pre game or midway during periods etc
Solid strategy!
Regretfully I bought a burger meal that came up to close too 40$ at a Vancouver Canucks game which is something I will never do again.
We did a full breakdown on Vancouver stadium food last season!
@@RobertGreeleyOh nice I'm going to a game on December 28th.
Fella pops in a full handful of wasabi peas without ever having had them before, well that's one way to find out... 😆
Yeah that wasn't the best call lolol
Ovechkin still has to beat Gretzky's record & he was injured this year. So maybe he won't do it this year. Even though he needs 27 goals. Mathews to early to tell. Injuries is a huge factor & also he might decide to retire before then.
For sure best asset in any athlete is availability
FYI it's Edo not Ed's lol Edo as in the former city name of Tokyo. The "o" is the red rising sun in the logo. Thanks for the video btw.
@@Revenger3rdUnit hope you enjoyed!
Hey are you talking Canadian dollar pricing and costs or US dollars, please be specific as the Canadian dollar is at 60 cents to the US dollar, so when someone sits at a US blackjack table and order $100 in chips, it actually just cost that Canadian, $140 dollars.
It’s Canadian
I pretty much assume it will be a $500 to $700 night, including parking.
I mean for one person I would say that's a bit steep but two people sure!
the 25-30 yr old question is void for me as the ducks screw over the canucks way to often in the getzlaf cory perry and bobby ryan era..... BUT most canuck fans hate for the leafs is so high they would probably agree with u lol
I mean Vancouver/Anaheim rivalry was a great classic back in the day
Where did you find Leafs tickets for $70.00?
@@begley09 Ticketmaster
tall boy beers like $18, $100 doesn’t go far at a Leafs game. Hard to even find tickets under $200
Curious did you watch the full video?
@ yes! I saw you mention the crazy beer prices at the end
Anahein?
How do you mean?
A Canadian dollar is only worth 70 cents which id something to consider when watching this
I mean if you’re American but everyday life for us Canadians lol
Little know fact a Toronto Maple Leaf lives next door to me
Cool!
im in the videooooo
@@officalcharmin nice!
Going to watch an NHL game is a rip off. Everything is way too expensive and not worth it for the entertainment you actually get. $17 for a beer that costs $2, get lost. I can’t believe there are that many suckers wasting their money on being a sports fan. You know something is wrong these days when a baseball player makes 1.2 million dollars a week (yes per week !!)to hit a ball with a stick.
I will never go to the leafs game. Overpriced asf and waste of money
Which teams would you go see?
No way this guy got empanadas in CANADA 😭
Why not?
@ Nothing bad - Canada is just NOT the country I think of when I hear “empanadas.” 😂
Okay, I see where you coming from with the AM stats but buddy.....even I as Leafs fan it is a stretch....not saying it won't happen...but still. 😅
Only time will tell!
kinda pricy, just to see them to boston in the playoffs :D
Lolol
When you have to mention Vesa Toskala as a notable player for your team of the last 30 years what are you even wasting your time on
Notable goalie for them in the last 30 years for sure
Empanadas. At a hockey game. You’d better straighten out.
I mean why would they sell them if you can’t have them?
23..25 years playing..no!! Already injured
I mean let's circle back in 10-15 years
Definitely not a second round series win…
Lol will see what happens!
$100 or $1000 at MSG?
Would love to go to New York!
You do know you can order food to your seat right?
Not in the 300s

STOP WHINING ABOUT PRICES PEOPLE. You'll go. The Sheeple will buy the overpriced food (and eat it cold or lukewarm lol). So *why* wouldn't they charge you Sheeple? I know a bit about Sheeple - they will pay what you tell them to pay. I'm 49, been retired 4 years because of this :) What if people just stopped buying shit at the game for 10-20 games? Send a message. Oh, and demand the food be prepared better and served hotter. Things would change. But until that - stop whining and pay.
