Husband is taking me to this Royal Decameron location next month for my birthday. Hope we’re lucky enough for one of the superior rooms, I love that balcony!
I just booked the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach and I am very excited to get this party started. I stayed at the Hyatt Zilara last year but it was too far from everything and the taxi's were charging up to 80.00 for a 20 min ride to local spots. But I'm on my A game this time so Jamaica here I come again. Beautiful resort and every room being ocean front is a plus.
Appreciate your honest review it was truthful and on point in my opinion. Especially the customer service part as it is nonexistent, the food and entertainment is subpar. Personally I would rather pay 4x the price to stay anywhere but there again!
Hi you do a good job BUT BUT why is it you don't in could most peple want to know about . pool temperature are they heated to maintain a controlled Temp . // dinning areas that have AC //
If I book at this resort Cornwall do I have access to the other 2 resorts Club & Montego? I'm bringing my son but Cornwall looks like the best out of the 3.
Hey Tyler, well at Cornwall they have a general buffet is inside, but for the specialty restaurant you can go over to Decameron Mobay, which is next door. Once you stay at Cornwall you can enjoy the Mobay property also.
My friend and I will be staying at this hotel in November. Looks beautiful. Any suggestions for alternate entertainment in the evenings? The music you shot in the lobby seemed a little low key for us. We are single girls that like to have fun. How far is Margaritaville from the resort? Thanks in advance and great video 😊
Hey rhondex glad you liked the video! For alternate entertainment you could take a walk next door to the second property at Decameron Mobay you have access to both properties when you stay at Cornwall Beach, they have a much bigger entertainment area with a stage for nightly performances. If that's not enough you can check out Margaritaville which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, I would also recommend Pier 1 as another option for nightly entertainment however check with someone at front desk to find out what's happening each night, if memory serves me right they have different themes each night. Hope you enjoy your vacation!
My friend and i are planning a trip to montego bay for the end of september, early august. We are in our early 20s and are coming from toronto canada. We have considered the royal decameron, riu montego bay and iberostar rose hall beach, ect. But cannot decide between which resort. We are looking for the place with the most young crowd and not interested in an older crowd/vybe . also looking for wifi and transport to margaritavile 1pier ... From your experience or opinion where do you suggest we stay? Thank you kindly
Not sure how long ago this was posted but I can definitely recommend the royal Decameron..I'm a former employee, now living in Toronto and I'm going there in January...it's closer to Margaritaville,... minutes walk along the hip strip..or you can hop on a shuttle which is free to and from Margaritaville and also pier 1.
Me and wifey stayed last year at Cornwall beach in July , headed back this July . There is a club on the resort as well as near by. They have entertainment on the old side every night . It’s free for Cornwall side to go and do whatever on the old side

We actually prefer the smaller 3 star all inclusive resorts in Jamaica. I love Jamaican food and they seem to serve more of that then the bigger resorts whose buffets are geared to Americans and Europeans. Gimme the jerk anything, run down, curry goat, brown chicken stew, yam salad, fresh local fruit and pastries made on property it's all SO GOOD!
Hahaha you are making me hungry! But yes you are right about the their menu choices. It has a more authentic Jamaican feel than your average all inclusive resorts that is focused more on international cuisines.

Stayed at MoBay last year so this will be a good comparison! Loved it and can't wait to come back in December for the Christmas Breeze :)

Lol I'm making myself hungry too. I forgot about the patties, fried plantains, rice & peas, ox tail stew and the delicious spiney lobster! Yum!
