What do you thinks going to happen when you take civilians off the street, put them through some bs training, then issue weapons and a uniform and allow them to go “uphold” the law! Make it a much harder selection process to become a police officer, with 20% of their job training, and increased pay! Bet you’ll have a much better police force! Ha

They should check the police work of the other officers that worked with these two. Cops don’t do their dirty deeds in a vacuum. They need someone to look the other way, sign obvious erroneous police reports, sweep evidence under the rug. I wouldn’t trust the work of any cop in their precincts.
All cops should be charged with violation of Oath when they break the law. When they are not it’s saving them from real consequences and allow them to move on to the next department to do the same things again
