I just found a thrift shop that also has a small record shop inside. My wife gets to shop for knickknacks as I get to shop records! The perfect store for both oof us! I picked up a couple of Zeppelin Live LPs there, on of them at the Fillmore West in 1969, and one of them in Dallas 1975. Congrats on your acquisitions brother! ❤

Nice grails, purchased the FSOL original cd's last year from discogs. Nice cover from Dusty, have various compilations + Dusty in Memphis sacd. And the album produced by Pet Shop Boys, although I haven't played it yet. Had no idea M People was related to the Hacienda.
Came away with some great stuff there, Rob. I'm the same way: roll up the sleeves and head for the deals! I've never seen that 70's Dusty release either. That Marvin Gaye, I'll grab when I see it. I was a big fan of MPeople in the 90s. Movin on up was my fave. Good productions. Nice to see some FSOL. Their records are a bit rare nowadays. Lifeforms was huge back in the day. I need to get that Dead Cities sometime. Good cat cameo :) Ive been digging out my old Charlatons singles lately. Saw them live once in Montreal. Great band. Cheers man

Excellent finds, I have never seen that FSOL album on vinyl so would have snapped that up too. Love Fourth Drawer Down by The Associates, it’s essentially a compilation of their early singles. White Car In Germany is just an awesome track.
Hi, I was pretty surprised to find a fsol album sealed at the car boot for £10 I grabbed it immediately .. I bought white car in Germany in 82 on 12inches mainly thanks to hearing party fears two which I still love ! .. thanks for watching it’s always great hearing from you 👍

I've got the Bruce Foxton LP and yes it aint too bad 👍 I didn't know Paul Weller started up that response label,i think i have a 7" by Tracey ( house that jack built) on it ? 'Dead Cities' is a lovely find. For a tenner too. 👏🏻 I'd have that Tom Tom Club one as well. That Marvin Gaye album is excellent. I bought my copy back in the 70s, and have always loved it. 'Here, My Dear', the follow-up is great too, and worth seeking out. You have more persistence than me when it comes to car boot sales Rob. I didn't get to even one this year. 🤷🏻♂️

Great finds - I really need to make a car boot resolution and make an effort - rarely see any James Brown in the U.K. so that’s a great 50p find - never seen that Bruce Foxton before either - just picked up the 1st associates album and it’s excellent - and a most excellent Cat Attack interruption 🐈 nice one Curtis ❤

Arcade Fire and Kaiser Chiefs are great IMO, do you like Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon and Stereophonics?? i really like that Bruce Foxton album, a solid album, shame he never really continued as a solo artist. you mentioned doing a top 100 albums list, ive been trying to compile a list for a month or so now, mine might get finished next year, i warn you now though, picking your top 20 or maybe 30 is a no brainer but the rest can be a real struggle especially leaving some worthy inclusions out of the list, but i look forward to you compiling it mate. have a great weekend Rob - Lloyd

Nice variety especially the James Brown 👍. Car Boots in UK are great. I've had Magazine, Capt Beefheart,Tull, Exploited LP's all for a few pounds. My favourite though is probably Roy Wood's Boulders. A genuine mini-masterpiece. .
