Now that you have a Kindle, you can start buying all of the Erotic Bigfoot books. Not even kidding.
lol what.
Oh no! I might have to look into this if I do another erotic video 😱
Wait, hold up..... That's actually a thing? Really 😲.... Wow! Very interesting 🤔. I'm not judging don't worry, it's just a new thing to me. Lol 😆. Enjoy 😊
Bigfoot's Mate is pretty good.
@@AndaKentActually, some of this stuff can get pretty violent. Leaning more toward extreme than erotic. But that depends on specifics of your search. 😬I thought that's where your interest would lie.
The Sluts is an awesome book, proper stomach turning towards the end
Negative Space, The Sluts, Left Hand and Paradise Rot are all fantastic!
I’m so happy you have a great relationship with your mother in law. I do too and it makes life so much better! I love her choice of book 😂
Anda, watching your videos feels like a warm cup of tea. I am in grad school and watching your videos is incredibly destressing. I know that life has ups and down and hard times and good times, but anything you make content wise is incredible. Please don't ever feel like it isn't enough or that you aren't. You're incredible! Keep going, you!
Also, book I purchased recently? Too many. However, I am currently slowly making my way through The Witching Hour, but I have Perfume on my shelf right now and I feel like its calling me, you know?
The Fisherman is excellent. I read it last summer during breaks at work. The prose is absolutely incredible.
Thanks for the shout on my book The Necromancer! I think you'll love it when you have a chance to get to it.
The Sluts is SO GOOD!!! Can’t wait for your review :D
It definitely piqued my interest. I can't wait to read it.
Richard Laymon is really something 😂 Happy late birthday!
The Fisherman was so good. I would categorize it as cosmic horror
omg i have that same niles crane shirt but as a sweatshirt!! its my favorite possession!!
I pick up my copy of Negative Space tomorrow! Woohoo
The cellar is really cool. I liked this one a lot
Richard Laymon is something. I find his books pretty hit-or-miss; interested to see what Anda thinks of him 😂
@@CiardisInferno99 I'm curious too. His constant mentioning of female body parts can be pretty annoying
@@CiardisInferno99I love his books
@snoopywg So many of his books include rape and abuse against women, one even included the rape of a child, which is a big no for me.
Monstrilio was quite possibly the best book I read last year!
The Fisherman is on my wish list too so maybe I recommend it 🤷♂️
The Fisherman's been sitting in my TBR forever. I love the premise ( and the beautiful cover art) but reviews are so mixed, I've been nervous to start it.
I’ve also seen different front covers for the book too
@@CiardisInferno99 Personally I loved it :) the author tends to drone a little bit, so I can get people's frustrations though. There's a story within a story for a good chunk of the book too, but it's very creepy and interesting. Bit of historical horror with Lovecraftian vibes I guess? If you like sea monsters, necromancy and genuinely scary visuals, you might like it! It's also pretty sad too. The grief the two men feel for their wives/families feels very organic.
Happy Belated! The Fisherman is beautiful & dark - it really illuminates the human experience that is grief, just as a heads up.
Happy belated birthday.
The Haar by David Sodagren was a great read. I think you’d like it, it has grief as a key element of the story.
Thank you!
Oh, I didn't realize that was the author of The Haar. I've heard great things about that one.
These look awesome! I'm excited to see what you think about The Fisherman.
ALSO, I keep seeing "The Deep" by Nick Cutter in the background. Patiently awaiting your thoughts on that one too. I'm tellin' ya, it's a wild one.
I'll get to it eventually, I promise. But I keep buying more books 😂
Thank you for reporting on these books and helping me find stuff to read. I trust your taste in books. 📚 🎉 Happy Birthday 2024
Hey it’s my birthday today and I am also a Niles Crane lover!! Happy birthday 🎉🎉
Happy birthday to you!!
Richard Laymon can be great fun. Read the Cellar last year. Really good.
Hell yes Niles Crane! Also your MIL sounds cool; you' re a lucky lady 😊
Happy Belated Birthday, the Niles Crane t-shirt is amazing and totally something I'm jealous of 😂🎉
The Fisherman is one of the best creepy books I've ever read. Can't wait for your reaction to that one Anda! Also, have you read 14 by Peter Clines? Highly recommend that one if you want to go on a cosmically wild ride.
I'll have to get to The Fisherman soon! No, I haven't. Thanks for the suggestion.
I so love that you have a cozy mystery series in amongst all the dark stuff you read. I am the same way. I read horror and thrillers and yet I have an unending love for the Little House on the Prairie series lol
😂 It's nice to have variety!
The amount of the same books i've bought recently cracked me up lol. Happy birthday 🎂
I freaking luv ur videos! Monstrilio is a very popular book with rave reviews. It is on my kindle tbr! Loved ur book haul and I can't wait to hear ur thoughts on ALL of them!!! U r so unique - makes me feel like I'm not alone in so many difft ways, especially with the books I like to read which is exactly ur taste - I am so grateful to u for that. I am positive any vlog u post is amazing! Even if u think it's not!
I don't know how I haven't heard about Monstrilio until I saw it in Barnes and Noble! Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it :)
Lmao the Niles Crane shirt is so random, I love it! I also love Frasier.
Also, happy birthday!
Anda, please stop deleting the videos you make! I’ve missed youuuu 😢😂❤
I'll do my best! 😂
Havent subscribed for to long but was waiting for your new video :)
I love your Persian bazaar tastes. Glorious!! 💕 😂🤣🤣👏👏👏👏
Your channel has opened doors that have led me deeper into the horror genre than I have ever considered venturing. I greatly appreciate the experiences... so thank you much, Anda!! ❤️👍
The Fisherman very good, i am surprised you haven't read it. Monstrellio spell check, though i haven't read it it has been a booktube darling for awhile.
Negative Space is very trippy, I read that one several years ago!
OMG AND I LOVE THE FISHERMAN. The writing reminded me of Frankenstein. Stick with it, the author tends to drone a bit.
I'm really loving Negative Space so far!
A pop-socket or strap handle on the back of your kindle will make it much easier to hold. My arthritic fingers are living proof! Available from all long South American river stores.
That's an awesome stack of books! I just finished Maggie's Grave last night and had a blast reading it. Monstrilio was one of my favorite books last year!
I thought The Fisherman was fantastic. I got excited for you when I saw it in the stack :)
@7:55 sounds like a great way to spend your birthday!! 😁👏👏👏💕
LOVE BUKOWSKI! would recommend pretty much all of his books! HAM ON RYE, FACTOTUM, POST OFFICE, PULP, TALES OF ORDINARY MADNESS etcetcetc
Love the tee shirt, im a huge Frasier fan too! Happy belated birthday!🎂🩷💚🧡
Thank you!
Richard Laymon - nice! An OG splatter punk and progenitor of extreme horror. His prose just barely meets the definition but his stories are pretty extreme and wild for his day. I look forward to your thoughts on that one, lol. I just picked up MAGGIE'S GRAVE also; looking forward to it! Cheers!
Who excited 😆 to watch this later, sry not exactly a morning 🌄 person 😴😅. Lol
Great haul!! 👍
Loved the mail call!! Lots of interesting titles 😁
You rock, Anda!! Thanks!! 💕
I read Monstrilio earlier this month! 👹 Based on your tastes, I think you’ll really enjoy the 4 acts told in the 4 perspectives of the characters as time passes in the story. Definitely a unique read, it’s not like any other book I’ve read before. Hit really close to home with the themes too. I rated it about 4.5 ⭐️. I can’t wait to hear your take on this one! ❤
Great videos! Reading the Bill Hodges S.King trilogy, curious what u thought of the show vs. The books ?keep up the great work 😊 and Happy Belated BDay! A kindred book sniffer lol
Happy Belated Birthday 🎉❤
My birthday is also in March and I have the exact same blue socks! 😂
Happy birthday Anda!! 🎉
Thank you!
Kindle Unlimited is a godsend! Been reading so much more now that i don't have to buy each book!
Also, Monstrilio is my favorite book of the year so far. Can’t wait to see what you think of it!
Still hoping you try out Schraders Chord soon, been dying to hear what you think of it
My friend has this one. I'll see if I can borrow it.
Happy birthday 🎁🎊🎉🎈🎂 ❤❤❤
Happy belated Birthday.
I’m way excited to hear what you think of The Fisherman. I really enjoyed it.
Hi everyone, just a heads up that if you're interested Negative Space, the book Anda talks about around the five minute mark of the video, is currently $5.99 on Kindle. As anyone with a Kindle knows, prices can literally change overnight, but hopefully this one stays on sale for a bit. Also, Happy Belated Birthday to Anda!
Belated birthday wishes.
Im in L.A. too. Just wondered when you go book shopping what are your favorite book stores? Especially used stores if possible? I think I know of most of them but in case I am missing any...Thanks!
12:08 happens to me all too often. instantly winced.
Atonement will rip your heart out. It did mine.
do you have goodreads?
I just finished "The Sluts" by Dennis Cooper, I seriously could not put it down. I can't wait to hear what you think of the book. I personally want to read more of his work now that I've read "The Sluts"
By the way, dead inside was an awesome recommendation
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
🖤
thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm new to your videos, Anda, so is there a listing of books you've read and/or recommend? Thank you.
Atonement fucked me up.
Youre welcome :)
Richard laymon is my favourite author for about 16 years now. However , he has a LOT of content on the sexual nature and he tends to potray his female characters as ... sexually inclined most of their lives. So yes amazing, but I know you dont like sex so much in books and i thought id point this out. The last of triology, friday night at beast house. Is really short and an excuse to write beastiality. I reccomend his work "the dark". It absolutely terrified me as a teenager and pushing 31 now :)
Atonement made me ugly cry
please dont buy books from amazon :(

I know this is a tad off topic. However, I am just beginning to read Darcy Coates. So far, I feel like her writing style is simple yet poetic. I would love to know if that is a good way to describe her writing style, or am I way off base?
Try to read ebook called WTF?! By Son. E from kindle it is a good thiller which contain 4 different stories and it cost less than 1 dollar completely Worth of money
