He’d drive it in the May town parade every year and even run some of the functional gadgets on it. Pretty awesome for us kids
Fun fact: the 1989 Batmobile has no doors because of a production gaff. Anton Furst (the designer) did a talk at the University where I work and told the story. The whole body is a single-piece fibreglass shell over a Chevrolet Impala chassis but when it was produced it was pointed out they forgot to cut holes for doors to be fitted. As they didn't have time or money to redo the body it was decided to saw off the cockpit canopy and have it slide forwards so that Batman could get in.
The Batman Beyond one is probably my favorite, however the Batmobile from the CW series "The Batman" was a really good blend of the classic style, military build, and just being a normal car.
That 'Lamborghini Batmobile' designed by Neal Adams is actually based on a Corvette. Bruce Wayne's black 1963 Corvette in The Batman is a direct nod to this iteration of the Batmobile. He did drive an actual Lamborghini Batmobile at times in the 80s, though. The Batmobile Jason Todd jacked the hubcaps from was a Lamborghini.
