I traded my IPad Pro M1 11” for the Mini7. I had the Mini 6, gave it to my daughter since she’s been wanting it. I haven’t looked back since! Love the Mini 7! I use it everyday! I purchased the base model, but in the cellular version. I don’t regret a thing! I pair it with my Logitech KeystoGo 2. ❤
I have the M1 ipad as well. I wouldn't do that unless I really hate the size of the ipad pro. The ipad pro M1 is overall still the better device with better experience despite being 3 years old
So great to watch a video made by someone who acknowledges the rear camera on an iPad. Not all of us want to have the tiny view finders from cameras and iPhones. The iPad mini is great for taking photos and thank you for not making fun of those of us who do. Dolphin
I personally love the ipad mini 7 in combination with my MacBook air. I'm a med student and it fits perfectly in my scrub, super useful for note taking, and also when presenting! I didn't want it to fully replace my laptop so it was the right choice.
I really want to replace my phone with the iPad. I use my watch. I have AirPods for calls. I don’t want to carry all 3 devices at all times just because they depend on each other for important functions. It has become a little overwhelming and Apple has become less convenient for me because of this.
I love my Mini 6. I watch movies, reach books, watch live TV. I’ve got a 256 GB hard drive, which I fill with movies. I use it to edit movies made on my IIPhone. And it’s smaller than a magazine! It is quite simply marvelous. I don’t know anybody who’s bought one who hasn’t loved it.
In practical terms, what makes your decision different now compared to the last gen? Everything you said in this video shouldn't be drastically different compared to 2021, so why is this a revelation now? I had the Mini 6 and currently on the new Mini 7, but nothing about it made it revolutionary on my daily use so I'm curious as to why you feel it's a game-changer? If you just need to create a new sponsored video, that's fine, but if you honestly felt it made a difference, I wished you compared the two. Keep up the good work.
I bought a mini 7 as an upgrade from a mini 4. I don’t understand the hatred for the tablet with some You tubers out there. Not everyone wants an M4 chip in a huge screen that will not fit in a pocket. Doctors and small plane pilots are two examples that spring to mind. This fits the gap between my iPhone 13 and my Mac. Plus, I get the chip for Apple Intelligence without having to pay more money to upgrade my phone.
Thank you for this review and the bonus Paper Like review! My birthday is coming up, so I think I know what I'll wish for. Form factor is key for me, and the any bag/any pocket is what I'l looking for.
I'm a Samsung guy, but I have the Mini 7 because of the form factor. I find the iPad OS limited compared to Samsung and Android. But there is no competition on the small tablet space.
I feel the same way too, I have my tab s9 but I dont really like the size and weight 😢. Seems like samsung only have tab S series in 8 inch size around tab s2 era. Now they even dont have 11 inch anymore on tab s10 series.
I went back to an iPad mini earlier this year (a 6) after having a Samsung one a bit for this same reason. Great for reading apps and watching content, most small android tablets spec wise are a bit rubbish frankly.
I have the A7 lite. Awesome tablet, perfect size, just runs poorly. My iPad mini 6 runs Circles around it. My tab 9+ and iPad Pro are awesome, but it’s just easier to grab my iPad mini 6.
🐬I love my iPad Mini 6! I wish the Mini 7 had more improvements like a better/brighter screen + selfie camera (for FaceTime), 90-120hz, etc. Fingers crossed for the iPad Mini 8 to have these improvements!
I've been an ipad mini user since the mini 1 :) I've had the ipad pro but I found myself reaching for the mini more than the pro so I gave my ipad pro to my dad instead :) Is it worth it to upgrade from the mini 6 to the mini 7? most of the reviews I've read said it's not that much different from the 6th generation.
I changed iPad pro 11" 2020 to ipad mini 6, I stopped look on ipad like computer or second computer to mac, because it is not and then I see. 11" is big for me. I love mini 6 is everywhere with me.
So could you run Logic Pro on this or would the small screen make it difficult compared to a larger iPad? I'm asking because I'm not an iOS guy but I love the size of the iPad mini and I want something that I can quickly get down some musical ideas. I wouldn't be using it for the main composing and editing and all of that basically just a quick music notebook if you will.
I use to love my iPad mini 6 until I got the iPad Pro. Now I hardly touch the mini. If it had OLED and pro motion then I would run to go get the new one. For now my iPad mini is used as a monitor for my home security
It's only the Swiss army knife of tech if you're a content creator. For content consumers, apart from official streaming services that are more often paid services, iOS can't do whatever Android can do.
Thanks for review ❤ Ordered iPad mini 7 cellular and waiting to get it. Can you please tell me will iPad with cellular supports Whatsapp application ? Which controller is good for gaming for this iPad mini? Please 🙏 reply.
Great vid man! While I like the conecpt of this, after three years since the last gen -- I expect more from Apple. Esp for $700 CAD, it's overpriced and those damn bezels are ridiculous looking.
Best iPad For Casual Use But If you Want Beast Gaming Experience I dont Recommend This Device Because of 60 Hzs of Frame rate…Really Bro Device With A17 Pro Chipset and We are Paying 600€ and what we Get 60Hzs of Frame rate😂
After watching this video, I have never been more convinced that a large number of tech RUclipsrs are being financially remunerated by the Apple corporation. The demise of RUclips will be the distinct lack of integrity.
what is this device mean to you ? you were supposed to be happy with your google pixel 9 pro fold? there is nothing new with this think. actually there is nothing new with apple. this should be an folding iPhone review not the iPad mini. Come on apple, it is almost 2025! where are you while competitors are on their 6th generation of folding their phones!
Foldable devices are reminiscent of the curved screen trend; they will likely fade away once the novelty wears off and users confront the realities: the lack of screen protectors, the susceptibility of hinges and screen damage, and the unsightly crease in the middle. Regardless of their quality or technological sophistication, I will never purchase a foldable or flip device solely due to the presence of the crease.
@@Hayden_Haand that’s why foldables still only have 1.5% marketshare of smartphones 5 years after the OG Galaxy Fold launched. No mainstream appeal and use case. The cons outweighs the pros.
This Ipad mini does not worth it at all compared to the previous one. Ipad mini is not interesting because it is too small compared to an Iphone or not big enough for an everyday usage. The good question is : what am I going to do with such a small tablet ?. Answer to that question and you will not buy it.

Yeah you definitely had FOMO syndrome lol.
i wouldn't have done that. m1>
That seemed like a mistake. I was thinking going the same route, but the iPad Pro has more value and better tech in it.
I have the M1 ipad as well. I wouldn't do that unless I really hate the size of the ipad pro. The ipad pro M1 is overall still the better device with better experience despite being 3 years old

They’re all trying to get those free apple trips to the next event. It’s all a game. Hard to get honest reviews from people.
8 GB of RAM is the biggest upgrade in my opinion. 4 GB of RAM is a pain to work with when it comes to multitasking.

Finally doctors and small plane pilots see an interest in this tablet. Really the kind of Ipad which finally ends at the bottom of a drawer.
Finally retiring my iPad Pro 10.5 for this and can’t wait for it to come in tomorrow!
I’m absolutely in love with mine, I traded in my iPad Air 4th Gen for it and I don’t regret it at all.
Such a versatile device!

I love the size not so in love with the battery life
The iPad mini is great at what it does and that is being a tablet. It goes great with my S24 Ultra.

I just ordered one
I love mine. Swapped 11" M2 iPad Pro for iPad Mini 7, never been happier
I love it! Ignore the haters
What do you prefer on mini? I have the m2 11 inch and trying to decide the same thing..!
I got the mini 7 in addition to my 12.9” M2 iPad Pro.I enjoy both form factors.
Big mistake
@@Tnk_Tech_ReviewsGiven the current state of iPadOS, I disagree.
I love mine. Yes, I'd like OLED and 120 Hz Refresh and...a few other things but it's still great.
First Jon Vali gave a review on the iPad Mini 7 & now Rjey...what a sequence🎵🐬
Jon is my best friend!
Appreciate you mentioning how you use it on a daily too, really helpful review 🐬
🐬I love my iPad Mini 6! I wish the Mini 7 had more improvements like a better/brighter screen + selfie camera (for FaceTime), 90-120hz, etc. Fingers crossed for the iPad Mini 8 to have these improvements!
keep crossing bro. :)
I think this might be the last iPad Mini judging by the minimal updates
@@RjeyTech Which is so sad if true bc it is arguably the best iPad IMHO
@MatthewVlossak definitely the best iPad! This release reminds me of the iPhone 13 Mini, no real upgrades then discontinued...
Great review Rjey! I'm still rocking my iPad Pro 2022 though :)
Even tho I have the 11 and 12.9 iPads pro I bought the iPad mini 7. Arrives tomorrow. Can’t wait !

i'm seeing Apple is testing waters with the Mini 7 that if this will hit the market like crazy, they'll release the Pro version in a year or two!
Great review. I'm sold
Less people understand importance of ipad mini😊
I am in love with my 11in pro.. BUT, my biggest problem with this is the massive bezels compared to the newer devices.

I'd probably get an iPad air for logic pro, but if it's only for basic music notebook than the iPad Mini should be fine
@RjeyTech Thanks.
I see what you did with "assuming you got deep pockets"
I wish it was bit budget friendly

It’s so lovely your ipad mini. It does your security check awesome
What does “I kinda respect” really mean when you said it?
Great vid mate!!
Selling my M2 MacBook Air and getting this iPad and the new Mac Mini.
An a17 chip though? Really? Couldn’t put an m chip in there. I will wait for the mini 8
Seems great but theres one major flaw. The ability to multitask is superior on the 11 inch
It's only the Swiss army knife of tech if you're a content creator. For content consumers, apart from official streaming services that are more often paid services, iOS can't do whatever Android can do.
🐬 I'm still undecided whether to buy this or the base iPad
The m2 ipad air isnt far off in price too
@HavokRm it's around 350 euros
How do i find your lock screen... screen saver?
Thanks for review ❤
Ordered iPad mini 7 cellular and waiting to get it. Can you please tell me will iPad with cellular supports Whatsapp application ? Which controller is good for gaming for this iPad mini?

Yes of course!!
It does not support WhatsApp
I use a Razer Kishi Ultra with mine
Hard to say you switched to pixel wearing an apple watch ?
Cellular variant can run without iPhone. I'm not a fan of the pixel watch
🐬🐬 the iPad mini 7 it is has anyone thought of the cellular version though?
I have the cellular version and love it. Great speeds with T-mobile and I always carry it with me.
I thought about it but decided I don't need it since I can always hotspot from my phone 🤳 thanks for watching! 🐬🐬

I just wish it did 120hz and oled. Would be nice if apple did a ipad mini pro
That’s the only reason I didn’t get the mini. All my devices have Pro motion 😭
Not for $499
@@hotdognobun that hats what I’m saying they should release a pro version that’s a little more expensive.

60 hrz tho
Love the size but what stops me from buying it are the bezels. In 2024 it should be all screen with minimal bezel
Thats not very ergonomic for tablets.
@ but my Samsung tab Ultra has minimal bezels 🤔
This thing has been out 3 1/2 years…
It came out like 2 weeks ago 😂
Um no?
It looks like he has a wig on but attached to the kitchen part of his head only here

why are the bezels so big. why not the same bezel as an iphone?
It’s an LCD display, not an OLED like in iPhones. OLED allows you to have a thinner bezel

Hey 😊
It's trashy. I used it😂. Looks like pramotion video
Imagine being addicted to a 60 hz refresh rate screen. You all need to discover the s9 tab
