Welcome to my channel! In today's video I take Ruby to get her progesterone testing done. Progesterone is the pregnancy hormone and it tells us when she ovulates and when to breed for the highest chance of pregnancy. I had to make a hard decision as well.. watch to see the sad news and decision.

I was really hoping to start my golden doodle breeding program recently, but for very similar reasons to yours, I decided that it is not the time, especially where I am a new breeder. Hopefully the market will calm down and the opportunity can come again. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing!

I respect your decision so much! One of the biggest things I hear about breeders in the general media is that they're contributing to overpopulation in shelters etc. I love that you always keep your puppy's best interest as heart and think it shows how much you care and how amazing of a breeder you are when you take things like this into consideration!

As well as if you cant get homes for some pups its also a financial burden for you until you do get them homes and thats also very ubderstandable!
