  • Alyn goes wandering in the Cooley Mountains. Starting in Slieve Foye he crosses the Carlingford Mountain to Eagle rock and Ravens rock. Excellent Spring weather makes for a fun walk.

Ah man, you really could tell you where in your happy place on the Ravens rock Alyn, looked like a glorious day. Hard to beat. Been planning on doing a wild camp around there, do you reckon there is any small patches near where you had lunch to pitch up? Thanks for sharing another inspiring video mate, ATB!

Gary, let me know and I'll come too if you want. Id go back in a heartbeat. This is such a beautiful area. There are a number of wee spots up and around Ravens rock but most of the area was pretty soggy after several days of rain. You can approach from The Windy gap (see my Black Mountain video!) up over Foxes Rock too. Its an area I didnt get to explore but I need to go back to finish. So glad you enjoyed the video.
