I believe ever since they could do this Lars played multiple takes of the song, then they chopped them up and glued the "best parts" together so it would sound the best. In 84 it wasn't easy to cut the tape up perfectly

What is amazing is when you listen thoses tracks you notice Lars had very rudimental based fills
@Nissardpertugiu yes. Lars was taking lessons during that time and he said he was learning all the drum rudiments such as paradiddles and flams etc.

As far as i know they could not record drums for several months
If Lars played like this during live shows, then I could definitely view him as a skilled drummer.
