I just shared this with my grandson who is pretty new at bassing. I've mentioned The Brownstone to him a couple times. I'm not as good as an instructor. I hope he takes a peek. Great lesson.
Unreal - Allow Me To Dream - I Started This Journey As A Rookie , Rolled Into A Beginner , And Now Morphed Into An Intermediate - DREAMING Baby - I Was Able To Follow Along And Feeling Completely Over The Moon Right Now - Taking My Lucky 13th Lesson And Heading To Vegas - Well , Maybe Mesquite Go Team Human , Cheers
You have no idea how much I appreciate you, Travis, dear friend and neighbour. I'm completely over the moon that this lesson resonated with you. Take that ball and run with it, brother! Team Human always wins! Cheers
you’re the best! I’m working my way through this series right now (on episode 8) and it’s been a very helpful guide to learning this instrument. I’ve played bass trombone for 10+ years and studied music in college, and I feel like a lot of beginner content out there doesn’t cater to theory as much as I’d like it to. your stuff stands above the rest!
My first bass lesson was with you I have played 6 string for years and am wondering if the scales for both guitars are the same with just 4 strings on bass instead of 6 strings most of what I have seen makes me think they are keep the lessons coming mate really appreciate what you do.
Don't make me pull this belt off and whoop yo ass Rich....you know damn well this is opening all kinds of doors in my mind😅 You got one more time expanding my vocabulary and that's it😂😂
Thanks for the lesson. I hate to say it but I got lost around 13:30. Letters of the notes on the scale - got it. Numbers, don’t got it. That’s ok, I will someday.
Wow what a light bulb moment for me! 8 as 1 pulled me out of the BOX ❤

Diatonic scales go up to seven tones and the eighth is an octave, I hope that's helpful.
😂lucky 13🙌
Haha! Let's hope so!
Great lesson, thanks a lot for sharing. Just a little thing, your G string seems out of tune (somewhat flat)... or it's me?
Lessons on five string bass?
