Early Autumn in Oxford | Botanical Gardens, Magdalen College, Merton Street and Bridge of Sighs

- This is my promised second video from Oxford that I recorded in the afternoon.
On my walk I visited Botanical Gardens where you can find Tolkien Tree and Literary Walk. I had a cup of tea and grabbed something to eat while visiting the Gardens. I then visited Magdalen College and followed Addison’s Walk which used to be frequented by J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Afterwards I walked down the cobbled Merton Street and went up to Radcliffe Square and from there I went to see Bridge of Sighs. This was the end of my one-day trip to Oxford. I went to the station to catch the train back to London.

I love this video too. The way you started off at the meadow at Christchurch
which is where your first video ended is fantastic. The book you show, Alone,
when you stopped for Tea is one of the Books you showed on the table
at BlackWells Book Shop, that is a really nice detail. Your videos of Oxford are
some of the most enjoyable I have ever seen. I wonder if you could make a couple
of Videos of Oxford in Winter or the beginning of Winter. That time of year is beautiful
too, especially with all of the Christmas decorations and fires in the fireplaces.
Your videos have helped me to relax and have brought me a lot of happiness.

Thank you so much ! Thank you noting all these little details 🙏🙏 I will try to go to Oxford in winter too and record something. I love winter months. I’d also want to visit The Divinity School. All the entry tickets were sold out on a day when I was there… well lesson learned. I will have to book tickets in advance.
