fellow gingy with copper auburn hair and pale skin + green eyes, so thank you for this video! I always see blonde blue eyed tan vids so it's nice to see one with your colouring :)
Of course!! That’s definitely something I keep in mind when making videos, because I know I always appreciate seeing fellow redheads/people with a similar complexion reviewing things! 🤗
@@LYDIAisTHEname I thought that since I am pale I should pick a light fake tanner but you used the dark tanner and it looks natural. I've never fake tanned before what one do you think should pick?
I know I'm a year late, but what I do to get my back: get a lotion applicator, they have a smooth round end, and I put the tanning mitt over that and secure the bottom with a hair tie or rubber band. And then you can reach your back using the mitt!
I have the same coloring as you and use bondi sands dark but I always sleep in it and usually do the recommended 2 coats. I personally don't think it goes too dark when you do that so don't be afraid if you do want to go darker!!
Love love!!! I love self tanning when done right! I’m a fellow gingy and I haven’t self tanned in years. I am starting today because I feel like it lol, and I’m so excited. It’s fun living the best of both worlds!! Pale, tan, pale, nice and crispy lookin 😁 so fun
You can also purchase at Walgreens!!! I love Bondi Sands I used to use Jurgens tanning foam from Walmart but I think the bondi definitely looks more natural! I use dark a lot and I will leave it on until the next morning and rinse it off and it is usually much darker!!!! But love this video and love your content, you are super pretty love the natural red hair with tan skin so beautiful girlie ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I have the EXACT same hair color as you (naturally) and I’ve been looking for something to brighten it without having to go to the salon constantly! Love your channel, so glad I found it!
Thanks for the video! What tanning glove do you use? This will be my first time self tanning and I’m super nervous about the dark shade but it came out so nice!
thank you!! believe it or not, it was a part of a dress that I thrifted, but the skirt part of the dress fit really bizarrely so I just cut the top portion off and sewed up the bottom seam 😂
I think it was about 3 hours. Although nowadays I try to leave it on at least 4-6 hours before washing it off, because it seems to last longer throughout the week the longer I leave it on.
So I just bought the golden aero one from bondi sands and I’m a little disappointed as it doesn’t really show up as much of a tan :/ I used to use the st tropez in shower tanners but again they were so subtle and I had to use tonnes of it and ate through my wallet. I’m just so worried about getting a dark one and looking really weird or unnatural? I also am extremely pale and don’t naturally tan, would you recommend I just go for it?
If you're disappointed in it being too light, I would give the dark shade that I tried a go! It's really not scary at all, if anything sometimes I wish it got darker quicker. Even when I go to sleep with this fake tan on it doesn't come out looking too unnatural. But if you're really concerned about it, I would try wearing it for like 3-4 hours before washing it off. That will give you a lighter tan. The longer it sits the better it lasts and the darker it gets, in my experience.
@@LYDIAisTHEname thank you so much for this comment! I so appreciate it! Unfortunately my tan also go streaky the last time I used it and can’t figure out why :( But I have so much trouble with my feet abs elbows getting stained .... I moisturise them right before too so I’m just dumbfounded .... any tips?

Finally a self tan video that makes sense! I recently tried Bondi Sands Dark Mousse for the first time as well and love it. ❤️

Your hair is a BEAUTY.... Thank you for the tip on the Snatched Fox eye look with the contouing trick you did!

For your face hands and feet you can use a makeup brush for a seem less results
Another ginger snap pale skin red hair gal. Thanks for the video...was considering light/medium

Thank you so much! ❤️ and that's wild that you can get it at Walgreens, I had no idea!
I definitely need to try this out. Do you do 1 or 2 coats to get it darker ?
What lipstick are you wearing, it is gorgeous!
Can you do a makeup tutorial on this look please?!!😍
I'll definitely add that to the list of videos to film!
@@LYDIAisTHEname thank you!!
you can use more product or do multiple layers for it to be tanner :)
Can you do an update on the overtone you used?
I’m actually planning on filming that tomorrow! I’m dyeing my hair again with a different color from Overtone and I’ll definitely include an update. 🤗

Yes the 4oz of loving tan lasted me only 2 times 🙄 the 2 hr express in dark is so good tho
I just did my first application. I look green ! Please tell me when I rinse it off it will look better
The green pigment is just there to counteract the natural orangey color fake tan has. When you rinse off you should be nice and bronze
You are absolutely gorgeous and thank you for the review
I was looking for another ginger to show me how the tans looked, I am soooo pale
Okay, but like that top is gorgeous on you!

@@LYDIAisTHEname Oh, that’s brilliant!
as a male with fair skin, I wanted to try this out. Do you think having hair on my legs and arms will not work as well?
Yeah absolutely! Tbh I don’t always have freshly clean shaven legs when I fake tan, so as long as it’s evenly applied I’m sure it’ll turn out great 🤗
@@LYDIAisTHEname alright sounds good ! i gotta have a little color this summer haha. us fair skin people just burn and stay white haha, thanks!
Omg same I never got tan only sunburn and I'm also very pale 😂
Thank you, I needed this! I haven’t finished watching yet so you’re review will decide if I purchase it or not 😂
I hope this was helpful! 🤗
You're so pretty! 😊
thank you!! ♡

Tanologist face & body drops for face
