Lol.. Sometimes I just can't help myself Jim. It's Bert. That's my better half who was trying to catch Bert who doesn't like having his harness on, so was making himself scarce by hiding in the bay window opposite where I shoot. I was running through my usual focus test and didn't even notice her pop her head up until I was reviewing the footage. Let's just say she had no choice about making a cameo in the video.. lol
Another great video! Since default search WP fields are title, description and excerpt search on custom fields is very handy! But what if I want to search only in custom fields and ignore default WP fields, is that possible?
Love the video, thank you so much Paul. I am looking for a more complex search option. Is there a plugins that can be set up to work with multiple CPT and ACF? The site I'm working on has locations, recipes, foods etc and I would like to setup searches for each. I was thinking of adding a custom field to each post called keywords and then use that field for the search filter. Would be brilliant if the plugin would also save users searches so I create the content users are looking for or identify missing keywords to add to specify posts. Bet there nothing like that but your the man to ask... Thanks again.
My question is not related to this video. My question is I duplicate posts(B, C, D) from one post(A) and creates so many posts. But when I search the post (B, C, D) the result is showing exact post but when I search the post(A) all the post including post(A) shows in the search result. Please help m to fix this. Please sir
what about updating the ACF search on relationship post object field? Looks like in the admin of WP when searching for the post object it only works with the post title. Have you dealt with this before? I want to update the ACF Post Object field to search custom fields not just the post title in the admin.

Take a look at SearchWP. While it may not cover everything in your list, it does provide a great set of search tools/features.
