I haven't personally tried polyester yarn but yes I believe you can use 4ply using this pattern! The size might differ from mine depending on how thick your yarn is ☺️

What hook size is recommended for 3 ply mercerized cotton? Gumawa ako using that yarn but it didnt turn out as expected😭

For 3 ply i would use the B size (2.25mm)
