I get baby lights every 6 months so I can use purple shampoo for a more ashy tone, but this is pretty much my natural color! you can see my ~2 inches of regrowth is just barely darker!

Nope! Clinical is organized by my school. My “internship” is completely separate and it’s basically just a fancy way of saying “student xray tech” so HR can legally hire a student while following the state regulations.
Are you worried about the potential health impacts of working with radiation regularly ? I’m guessing there are lots of precautions taken for that though. What are they if you don’t mind me asking ?
Not at all. Humans get a cumulative dose of natural background radiation ranging from 1-5 mSv just from living daily life. This can be from elements in the earth, the sun, flying in airplanes, bananas (fun fact!), etc. As technologists, we stand behind a lead lined wall while we take the exposures, and if we are in the room for fluoroscopy or surgery, we wear lead aprons and thyroid collars. We also wear a radiation detection device (a dosimeter) that monitors our occupational dose. It is a safe and extremely misunderstood profession.
