This is my favorite Spider-Man suit. It has the classic suit design, which is already amazing, but the metallic blue makes it spectacular. I can’t wait to see more of this suit, we almost couldn’t see it in the movie, so looking at this as a figure makes me really happy

@@blackoutfourever looks as if the hip is leaning on the top of the diorama and the legs are at a great angle where most of the figures weight is leaning on it, and his hand is the prop up against it

I like the way Insomniac did the gold front logo in Spider-Man 2. You can only really tell it's gold when the light hits it just right, but most of the time it looks straight up black, and I hope that's how they end up doing it in the movies

This suit is so simple, yet so perfect! The web lines are nice, black and visible. The blue and red are bright and vibrant. Perfect representation of comic book Spider-Man in Marvel Cinema history! (In my opinion)

I called the suit the " Parker Suit " , because it was made by Peter Parker & was inspired by the two other Peter Parkers. Also, I agree that Hot Toys definitely needs to do a 2.0 of MCU Iron Spider & a clean version of Upgraded suit from NWH.

Just got this figure today and I love it! I’m just concerned about the fabric cause it’s too thin and it might get tear if I don’t take carefully. I have the spider man anti oct and black suit and I kinda used to the their suit material so having this figure with the fabric for the first time feels concerning. Overall the figure is awesome!

the spider-symbol is NOT gold it just captures the light because it's made of a very shinny material

Looks fantastic. Headsculpt amazing. I do like the classic "bug" style spider on the back of the suit as in the classic comic and animation look. But great cross between that and the movie/Tom versions of Spidey. I knew you'd love this with the vivid colours. And heh your OCD on full display here! ❤ And yeah that bracket! Might have to try to change my PO from standard to deluxe with that base though after seeing this. Enabler! 😉

Im really really glad they decided not to make the logo gold like it is in the movie, that was the one thing holding this suit back for me, not only does black just look better but a tribute to tony in the suit that is supposed to represent peter finally being away from all that felt counter-productive imo

Awesome indepth review. Maaaan can't wait for this to arrive!! That headsculpt is amazing! Creases are going to stand out like dogs balls because of the reflective blue. So I'll probably stick to a charcter pose.
I don't think the logo on the chest was ever gold. Perhaps the concept art on the box was the lighting in the artwork to make it appear gold. There was another concept art where spidey had his leg up on the ledge with a black logo.
Other merch of the final swing suit had black logos too (eg funko pop, s.h figurarts)

I’m curious, do the stark suit or upgraded suit lenses work on this figure? I think hot toys messed the ones up on this figure. They aren’t accurate, and the actual suit still uses the old lenses

i dont know what happened but this figure is waitlisted on sideshow and everywhere else is going for way above retail. I had to pay $550 for deluxe. Integrated suit, inside out suit and battle damaged suit is are still available at retail price, sometimes even on sale.

I am pretty sure that the front logo is black, it seems gold on the concept arts because of the lighting bouncing off, in Spiderman 2 ps5 it is also black, it seems only a bit gold with light in the logo
I am not aware of any lighting that can make a black part gold, for that to happen it has to already have gold under tones, unless there is a gold light source somehow and the symbol is reflective. Those are too many ifs, I believe it’s dark metallic gold, so the hue only reveals itself in the highlights

Great unboxing/Review Justin. I wasn't planning on picking this one up but the more I see of it the more I'm inclined to pick it up. In the last pose, it seems you were able to remove the black bracket from the dio. Did you figure out it could be removed or did you just force remove it?
