The Black Crowes are actually responsible for the rock & roll revolution of the 1990’s. They came out with Shake Your Money Maker just before Pearl Jam Ten, Nirvana Nevermind, Stone Temple Pilots Core and Smashing Pumpkins Gish. Even though they still sound like a Southern Blues hard rock band. The Black Crowes have always kept their independent alternative style, musicianship, instrumentation, song writing and live performances. You can see and hear some elements of punk and grunge in their music. It’s sometimes gritty and real life art reflected in their organic song writing approach that has always kept them one step ahead of the rock & roll competition. The Black Crowes have always been in a league of their own.

@stephanea5364 I am a massive Marc Ford fan but its not gonna happen. If I had a choice of magpie salute or crowes without ford, I'd go crowes (and I've seen both bands). I think this sounds good enough, Chris sounds great, particularly when compared to some of his contemporaries
Well I wound up in Houston two months ago, and they didn’t disappoint. Heading to St Pete Beach Florida next February. Just announced new Tour dates because of demand. Killin it!
I love the riff here and the chorus. I saw the Crowes in Miami beach back in '91, they let everyone tape the concert and they had the horn section and everything. Great fuckin band.
I can’t help but sing the 1st verse of Jealous Again when Chris starts singing. I like the song and all, it’s got a catchy riff that sticks in my head all day. Which is totally fine by me. Humming to TBC makes my work day go by fast 😂
