Yes. Precision Racing who builds TT Lambos/ r8's noted that one of their customers cars had a legitimate Lamborghini issue so they had to sent their TT Huracan back to Italy for them to fix it, and the workers loved it.
The team said they couldn’t use the launch control because it’s only set up to give like 100 launches and they had to get it unlocked by tune. I wonder the same thing.

Think it would of been the car owners and friends private footage from the next day. TRC probably wasnt there the test day and got that footage for this video.

Those cars are so absurdly stripped down and optimized it's absurd. DCTs are incredibly difficult to drag race with in the first place, and the fact that they're launching a mid-engine car with one as hard as they are without backflipping is incredibly impressive.
Seems locked in at 1.29 60ft. Needs more transmission tuning I would speculate. None the less great accomplishment for Drivewire, AMS, Dodson, Garrett and the rest of those involved.

I still feel they can fabricate and build a setup using a skyline transfer case and keep the awd running whatever transmission they want. Shit even a Audi that went 6s at this competition ran 6s with a Skyline transfer case but the car was tube chassis so mounting things was built and designed from scratch. GTRs and Lambos make so much power be cool to see them leave off a converter and be able to run a pro tree

Without slicks, it won't run 6s.... just like the GT-R. Street tires have a 7-second limit.... Now, the benchmark for AWD cars was set by GT-R: 6.5 @ 230+

A 5 second k series, lol. Yeah, with a promod stretched tube frame chassis, massive slicks, huge wheelie bars, and stripped bare bones race car. To say nothing of the fact they are running solid blocks with no cooling system and could not drive two miles down the road. Those tiny engines need huge (400 plus) shots of nitrous to spool and regular tear-downs after only a dozen or so passes. And they still blow up with monotonous regularity. The Lambo is a far more impressive accomplishment which can be street driven and tracked.

Your comparing a full tube chassis tin can promod, with slicks, a 2 gallon fuel cell, solid rear end, dedicated drag car to a streetcar. There isn't a single full factory chassis Honda or integra in 6's and they are all 4wd swapped.
lol comparing the fastest ever bike to this lambo which is probably street driven, and full weight. Ekanoos supra does 5s@ 245 mph and many v8 promods do mid 5s@ 260+ mph. High 5s too isnt that quick today just like 6s. Edit: High 5s@228 mph not 237mph you are full of crap. Full weight gtr's do 235mph+

For an application like drag racing where you're weight transferring so hard that the front tires are off the ground anyway, the traction benefits are far outweighed by the additional parasitic losses and extreme strain that gets put on the driveline. For street, rally, and some forms of circuit racing it has major benefits, but a prepped surface completely nullifies them.
On a prepped track with a good tire, the AWD contributes nothing as we are riding a controlled wheelie past the 1/8th. On the street where the rear axle doesn’t have the traction to rotate the car at will, AWD still makes the car accelerate faster.
