I was living in Wilmington DE, just a young dude with the whole world ahead of me and now over 10 years later I miss those times and people I was with. Love one another as much as possible while you can ♥️
I have literally grown with this band, and I'm just so happy and proud of how far they've come. They have amazing music that I always come back to all the time. Keep on going guys, you have one fan forever.

It annoys me how when a band keeps producing music that sounds the same people say it's getting boring and "unoriginal," and then when a band produces a song or an album with a little bit different sound they say that it's too much of a "drastic change" or it seems like the band is trying to make a switch into a new genre.
Point is, no matter what you do people are going to judge. So do what makes you happy and screw everyone else.
The Maine is awesome and that is that.

When i first listened to Don't Give Up On Us.. i was like.. What the heck?!.. And i was thinking i was gonna lose my favorite band.. I mean I've loved them since Alex && Ryan were in the band.. so.. I've been with the Maine for a pretty good while.. But.. this album is starting to grow on me with this song especially.. I just feel like.. I'm gonna miss there old sound.. definitely. but music evolves, and i guess I'm just gonna have to stick with them... and see where they go. :)
And every time I think they can't get any better, they prove me wrong.
