Hello Dan , I’m learning so much from your videos Thanks so much. My 11 year old papillon is having digestive problem and producing too much acid . Is there any kibble that you would recommend that could help with his digestion? What supplements should I provide to my senior dog?
My ebook has everything: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ Best kibble is Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Then you add some egg, sardines, veg (part cooked and blended), organs: amzn.to/337cxwj and meats at 30% of meal total to make a good diet that's neutral (not acid). Add soil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU (tough, will make it to gut to help) and freeze dried greens, many benefits in one product: amzn.to/49w0bKR 1/2tsp daily in food. Will make a trmendous difference quickly but start slow and small on everything new first coupple weeks to ease the gut into new diet.
Lol, I'll try the American way next time. You should watch my Oregano oil video, maybe that works for you too. Thanks for dropping by though, appreciated.
A good kibble and there are precious few wants 40%+ protein 90% of which comes from animals and as low carbs as possible, and with 15% fats (that's what dogs need). Have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble best I know of with 47% proteins, 6% carbs, 15 fats (i think) and all natural additives. They actually tell you the carb total in the Guranteed anaysis, other dont so add up the protein, fats, water (10%) and ash (usually 7% ish) and take away from 100 to get the carb value.
If you can afford it, go with Ketona as it's protein based and natural additives: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Otherwise Natures Logic: https:amzn.to/2SVoVWM But, and it's important, you still need some fresh foods (25% Min) in the mix, think eggs, meats, canned sardines, organs: amzn.to/337cxwj And a quality soil based probiotic to make it all digest well: amzn.to/3yoURqU Start any new food/supplements slow and small first week or two.
My Bo eats Carna4 and Answers Pet food. In one month, he's an entirely different, healthier dog. And his fur feels like silk, with no more bad breath. ♡ He's a 20 pound maltipoo.
That's great to hear, thanks for sharing. Also, please add the following to all meals: Probiotics - amzn.to/3J3IC7w and live enzymes - amzn.to/37MrINq Both so very important for digestion health and the basics that should go in all kibble meals. Start them slow and small the first week.
I like Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD Bixby Rawble - Freeze Dried Lamb - amzn.to/3kDbUmX Great, natural, raw and affordable for smaller dogs. I'd add some topper too like raw eggs, canned sardines (in water), both great proteins and eggs are 100% complete food. Or.. If wanting kibble, use Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble as it's low carbs, high protein but top off with some fresh food options such as above and some part cooked and blended veg.
Big range, checked the classic, 32.5% carbs, 30% protein which is better than most. Nearly all kibbles are 30-50% carbs. Dogs need zero carbs actually, so less is always best, hence all the skin conditions, yeast and ear infections, plus the additives. There is Ketona which is 5% carbs and 47% proteins: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Either way I'd still reduce kibble meal size by 33% and replace with fresh foods like meats, raw eggs, canned sardines in water and part cooked and blended veggies for greater nutrition and less carbs.
Mr Scot my dog as worms now I'm giving her pumpkin , and seeds yes she's poping them out with every motion, but I have noticed that these worm are very much a live I thought pumpkin was supposed to kill the worms ?
Pumpkin expells the worms, does not kill them. The best natural remedy to kill and expell all worms, larvae and eggs isBlack Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE There's another video all about this for worms.
Iv started uses butternut box have you heard of this ? It’s supposed to be all natural? Iv noticed her skin looking better and iv started adding flaxseed and giving her foods she can eat like a half a banana blueberries carrot and will try more soon as she only 4 months old I gave her royal canin it i sense it’s not good
Yes I have, a client told me about them in the UK. Well done to move to them from that kibble, it's not good. Always keep carbs low and focus on good proteins and some organ meats in the meal. You can always add some raw eggs and canned sardines for extra proteins and omega 3 oils. Raw means extra nutrition from the food. I highly recommend no more vaxx too (video coming later this week on that).
Hi Dan I've been feeding my dog natures logic for a couple years now is there something else that you can recommend for me? I'm having a hard time finding anything that I can even consider trusting. Thank you so much.
This is the best I've seen so far: Ketona healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble It's the lowest carbs at 5% which is amazing for a kibble as they are usually high in carbs at 35%+ and carbs are inflammatory for dogs. It's high in proteins, natural additives etc but as you can imagine, it's not cheap either. However, here's a away to make it go further while improving your dogs health at the same time: Free Diet Advice: If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better. If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18 It's vital to give your dog a good Omega-3 oil option too, and I recommend the best in (Ahi flower oil with Green Lipped Mussel Oil): amzn.to/3Yx9Z10 This one's for dogs with the added benefit of being excellent for joint health too. Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables. Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy/allergy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!). Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble. By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks. Some must do's: Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination) If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer) No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!) Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it. NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..
@@DanScott1 I recently put my dogs on natures logic , but I’ve seen seeing people saying because of the high protein content causing bladder crystals. Now I’m a little worried. Any thoughts?? Ty
@@amandabassell6726 Crystal formation willbe from a PH imbalance from the diet and affected by other inputs ie drugs, vaccines etc So its more complicated than just high proteins. The main thing is added fresh foods in the diet for live enzymes, quality proteins and some balance biologically.
I couldn't find your link to buy the natures logic dog food for the 1st time purchasing a bag of it. If my dog will eat it ill definetly buy it on Amazon with your link on this video :D Thank you for recommending the list of your approved best kibble dog foods. He is eats raw meat too. Seems to be feeling much happier thanks to your expertise and videos. You're so appreciated 💓
I'ts in the description area below the video: Natures Logic - amzn.to/2SVoVWM Acana - amzn.to/2GE9DR8 Carna4 - carna4.com/ And your most welcome, thank you. Besides the meat you say you feed, add in some eggs, veg and canned sardines for all round nutrition.
Thanks for this video. I switched my doberman to acana and he loves it. I homemake a fresh food additive to his food in the morning with chicken thigh, breast, livers, hearts, gizzards, brown rice, and green beens and carrots. I don't have the money or know-how to go 100% fresh, so I'm glad for good quality kibble to fill in the gaps
@@DanScott1 Thank you for the video, Dr. But I wonder: aren’t there enough carbs in the kibbles that we should need to add more carbs? Maybe just protein and organs maybe? And some veggies and a touch of fruit?
I been giving my dog NutriSource Adult Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food since yesterday and so far so good..I gave him 1/4 cup with withe rice, a little bit of chicken breast and some liquid broth in the morning and same thingfor dinner. Today I did the same thing. Iam supoused to give him 3 to 4 cups a day of the kibble but I wanna do what you been doing like adding fresh food to kibble..I just would like to know how much kibble and how much fresh food to give him and if is ok to cook the fresh food. Thank u. My goldendoodle is 83 lbs and he is 9 years old
Your welcome: my current favorite and will be making a video about it soon is Ketona kibble as it's the only VERY low carb kibble is the US: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Dogs do not fare well long term on high carbohydrate kibbles as it's very inflammatory, hence skin conditions, poor gut health, yeast, ear infections, UTI's and hot spots etc.
Not particularly. The best brand right now and one I'll make a video on very soon is Ketona: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble 47% actual protein with just 7% carbs which is what we want. (high carbs are bad for dogs and cause yeast/itch/skin/gut/diabetes issues etc).
My 9 year old Cavalier has had pancreatitis so on a fish diet. I cook fresh but also give Fish4Dogs tins and their low fat kibble to supplement when time poor. They are very low fat. Are they any good.
Thay are ok, I'd take out 30% of each meal and replace with raw egg and actual canned sardines in water with some part cooked and blended veggies for a more complete nutrition profile.
@@DanScott1 thank you. Are sardines and egg yolks ok for dog with pancreatitis? My previous dog had two tins sardines a week but she didn't have any tummy issues. My adopted boy has been on drip for pancreatitis and it is still a bit tender. Vet said all low fat. I saw some frozen sprats at pet shop but again high fat. Never had a dog with this problem before and am very nervous. He also is on ear drops for an ear infection which vet said had rods in under scope. Can you recommend a more natural cure as on second round of antibiotics. Is manuka any good for killing the bacteria? Thank you do much for your advice. Trying to help this adorable sweet bit who has been badly neglected.
@@jh2419 Give the egg raw, yes they are both fine. It's cooked fats that cause pancreatitis. Yes low fats but healthy fats. Manuka is good for this, yes. Or there's a powerful antibiotic in oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T But you must mix it with a carrier oil such as olive, grape seed, almond oil. at 1 part oregano oil to 5 parts carrier oil, mix and give 1/4tsp in food (med dog). Do this for 10-14 days. Better than vet antibiotics. Nutrition is where the focus needs to be. If feeding kibble, you'll want a very low carb kibble if yeast/itching/skin issues/eat infection is a problem. The best I know is Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble at only 6% carbs and 46% protein, 16% fat so the ratio is perfect.. but still add some fresh foods as stated.
Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble It's the only full protein kibble I know of: 47% with just 6% carbs and correct fats at 15%. Dogs want very low carbs as they are inflammatory to gut health. I'd still add some fresh food in the mix ie sardines, meats, organs, veg and eggs just to have some live enzymes, live food in the mix, important.
Great informative video. I currently feed my pooch carna4 but have been considering going raw. Do you have any suggestions of raw food brands? I was going to try Answers pet food because Ive heard good things about them but they don't ship to my area.
Thank you. There's pre-made ready serve meals and then there's raw food you can buy and make up your own recipe. For brands with parts you buy: rawdogfoodcomplete.com, www.realmealpetfood.com, primalpetfoods.com. If you have a small dog, might be worth pre-made like primal or steve's real food.
@@DanScott1 Thank you for that information!! It is for a small 10-15lb dog so I think I'll give Steve's a try. You don't need to add any other nutrients to it right? Also I looked at their packaging and it doesn't say organic. Any idea if it is?
@@24mbronc Some of it is but Steve says it's joke money to get certified these days for small farmers. So the food is good and Steve knows his recipes, been doing this for others for years. I made a video on top five freeze dried raw foods (out in March) and Steves is on that list also. Yes the meal is complete and balanced, just defrost to above room temp and serve but go slow when transiitioning to new diet ie 25%/75% new to old food first meal 2 days, then raise new to old food over the week, plus add this probiotic: amzn.to/3yoURqU These are tough and better for new diet transition, again start them small first few days.
Whgat about a more fresh food based diet? Small dogs it's economic with freeze dried raw ready made meals for example: Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD Bixby Rawble - Freeze Dried Lamb - amzn.to/3kDbUmX Just add warmish water and serve. There's a protein based kibble called Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble with very low carbs, high proteins as a dog should really eat. And you can top off with eggs, canned sardines and some part cooked and blended veg. When changing up the diet, the gut needs help to assimilate different enzymes so add soil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU start samll first week and add to all meals. And there's colostrum for allergies and sensitivities: amzn.to/3H79rad Even something like raw green tripe is a great idea.
There's the usual novel proteins such as rabbit, bison, duck and roo. Fasting also helps the body to clear and boost the immune system. 24hrs water only. Allergies are tricky to deal with and can take time to figure out what works and I have no history in this case. Managing diet, gut and immune health and environment are the first steps to resolving your dog’s allergies. I'd normally recommend a fresh food diet, no vaccines, no kibble and some supplements like medicinal mushrooms: amzn.to/3CLiI6y and colostrum:amzn.to/3H79rad (for allergies and sensitivity) and soil based probiotics:amzn.to/3yoURqU to improve gut health. If wanting another kibble, Ketona is a high protein, very low carb (dogs dont needs carbs, very allergenic) option and comes in chicken or salmon and to this I would top off with some live food such as eggs, sardines and a little part cooked and blended veg. healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Imp: no vaccines, vet drugs and synthetic additives in pet foods.
Acana was sold to Mars and no longer uses all natural vitamins. They don't use a lot of synthetics like most; however, Acana can no longer state they use only natural vitamins, key word here being only.
@debbieclare575 Fish4Dogs: Low on synthetics but high on carbs! You want low carbs in the diet. Best to take out 50% of meal and replace with fesh foods ie eggs, canned sardines, meats, veg.
Hi Sylvia, very interesting, I've done some initial research on this one and find it very interesting. Low carb is great, 46% protein is great too. The vitamins/minerals are chelated which is great. It's expensive! nearly $5 a pound, but potentially the best kibble I've seen. I will be looking more into this kibble and others for a video so thanks for the heads up. I still highly recommend you add some fresh food to the mix, one thing it can't provide is live enzymes as a dry food. Ask if wanting details.
@@DanScott1 I already downloaded your free book and I was taking notes about the vegetables, like broccoli, carrots, etc. My dog has glands cancer so I am trying to give him some kibbles low in carbs and sugar. I Know cancer likes carbs and sugar. However, I am right now boiling chicken with a few vegetables. I also giving him Kefir with chia seeds. That's the reason that I was asking you about this food. I think is very good but I want to know about your opinion. Thank you so much for your answer.

@Dan Scott Which food (Acana, Carna4 or natures logic) is best for a diabetic dog? Or do you only recommend a raw diet for diabetics? His numbers are still in the 400s
Any of those 3 will be fine: Natures Logic - amzn.to/2SVoVWM Acana - amzn.to/2GE9DR8 Carna4 - carna4.com/ Remember to add some fresh foods to the kibbles. I've done videos on this. And definitely probiotics at each meal: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 This helps digestion and health.
What do you think about the Instinct chicken & brown rice kibble? I’ve heard mixed things about the brand. I plan on switching my dog to a raw diet but can not do so right now.
I prefer Ketona kibble as it's all protein based with only 6% carbs: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble That instinct will be around 30% carbs without even looking. ... Allright, I checked for you and it's 38% carbs. Dogs are ALWAYS best under 10% carbs. And again, raw is the best nutrition based diet, but you could add some fresh food to the ketona kibble like raw eggs, canned sardines and blended part cooked veggies.
Yes it's a surprise when you don't know. I do recommend adding some fresh food to the current kibble diet. My free guide will help here: healthydogforlife.com/guide All trhe best.
This was a very good video I really need some help my baby suffers from Allergies and I don’t wanna name the foods he has been on but out of these three witch one would you Suggest he is a 60 pound German shepherd mix
Either of the other two, not the Acana. Also add some fresh food to the meals, think raw eggs 2, cooked and well mashed/blended veg, 3/4 cup and canned sardines, 1 pack and take out 1/3rd of the kibble at each meal if adding these extras. This will make a big health difference quickly and reduce the allergies. Also get some Probiotics: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 and add to every meals. Start at half stated dose and work up to full dose over several days. Add NUSENTIA Enzymes: amzn.to/3CQlxD0 (much needed). And add some slippery elm to the meals: amzn.to/3Cw7mlZ 1/4th tsp to each meal. Great for the entire digestive system and musch needed. All these will bring down the allergies over the next couple of months.
Hi Dan Doreen from South Africa. Just discovered your channel and can access Acana only out of the 3 brands of Kibble you recommend. Do they make Chronic Kidney Kibble?
Hi Doreen, I don't think so. For a kidney situation you need to add some fresh food to the diet as there's not enough moisture in kibbles to service the kidneys as they need moisture in, moisture out to cleanse. So take out one third of the kibble from the meal and add raw eggs (1/2 small dog, 1 medium dog, 2 large dog). Also add canned sardines (packed in water) 1 can med dog. Also add cooked and well mashed/blended veg, half cup per meal. If you can get coconut water, give this to drink as dogs love it and will drink more of it. Give a certain amount each time as they will drink the lot.. maybe. Fined some: Milk thistle extract: amzn.to/3mjJlJM Give daily in food. Find some: Probiotics: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 Give daily in food. If you can make bone broth, add a few tables spoons to each meal. All these things help the kidneys. And stay away from drugs, they just make things worse.
One of the better ones. Watch out for high carbs and the first 2-3 ingredients being animal based. Also a great idea to split the kibble meal 50:50 with fresh foods. ie eggs, meats, canned sardines and veg.
Hello Dan, What do you think about Farmina? I was looking into Acana, Orijen and Farmina. I was feeding Taste Of The Wild(grain free) but I wanted to change and add grain to my dogs food. I have a 10yr old and 6mo Cane Corso. I’ve raised 3 Cane Corso’s on Taste Of The Wild. I chose Farmina over Acana and Orijen. Acana didn’t have large breed puppy and it was grain free. Orijen is grain free as well but they did have for large breed puppy. Just picked it up today let’s see how it goes. My pup had a bad ear infection (it’s clearing up or shall I say getting better) and she seems to have allergies too. Any suggestions? I never had any problems before now. Thanks In Advance…..
Forget grain free as the replacement carbs are whats giving your dog allergies and the ear infection. The 3 options in the video are good but essentially look at the ingredients list, it must have the first 3 ingredients being protein based ie meats, meat meals or named animal. For the ear infection, use silver spray: amzn.to/3gJ16i3 Spray the ears 2x daily for 7 days then stop. Must give soil based probiotics only ongoing: amzn.to/3yoURqU Will improve digestion and lessen the yeast. About the diet: It's not so much the kibble, although you want a kibble with natural vitamins/minerals (most are synthetic - no good) The 3 in the video use natural. it's about adding fresh food to the diet like meats, eggs, canned sardines (in water), part cooked and blended veg to beef up the nutrition kibble cannot provide, hence the allergies and ear infections. Add these new extras and take out 30% of the meals kibble total and you'll see healthy changes fast. Also get some hemp oil and add 1 Tbl sp to each meal: amzn.to/3vDdtjX Great for skin/coat/brain/body/allergies. Their immune system are now being troubled so do all the above and I highly recommend zero vet drugs, vaccines, flea&tick, dewormers etc as bad medicine. There are natural alternatives, just ask.
Thanks I appreciate you taking time out to respond. I just dropped my puppy off for a re check of her ears and there giving her 2nd round of treatment. After today I will be adding in all your suggestions. Gonna stay with the Farmina tho since I just change over yesterday Thanks Again.
@@dabiggdogg1027 In future though, seriously, silver and probiotics ; - ). Start the probiotics asap, only the SBO ones I linked too as they are great for yeasty/allergy dogs. Start small and slow to avoid upset.
@@DanScott1 I picked my pup from the vet this was a 1 week follow up from a week ago. She was prescribed Osumia to treat Otitis External. Can’t find any of the three at Petsmart or local pet store in my area called Pet Headquarters. I’m currently feeding Honest Kitchen base and adding my own cooked meat . My 9 month old Schnoodle is itching like crazy and seems hungry all the time. The vet had me treat her for fleas which I don’t believe she has fleas. I do have links to them in the desciption below the video - amazon. Yes they are itching from the high carbohydrates, sugars and possibly additives. Another option is also NutriSource pur vita dog food (get the chicken) This and the ones in the video use higher protein levels and natutral vitamins and minerals. Hello Dan, We recently gotten a puppy yorkie. We been feeding her royal canine brand but looking to switch to Stella and chewy as someone mentioned in the comments. I don’t know if our puppy will eat the kibbles alone , right now we mix it with the wet food . Do you think we should keep mixing with the wet food once we switch to Stella and chewy brand?
I highly recommend you not mix in wet food but instead fresh food like eggs, veg, olive oil, canned sardines etc. FAR healthier. And add probiotics to every meal: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
How do you feel about "the honest kitchen" whole grain beef and oat recipe. Im questioning chicken recipes and also feel grain free isn't healthy. Please help me decide. I've been feeding Bully max to my 75 lb American Bully but top it with organic beef broth organic egg and beef or pork stew cooked with brown rice.
Im guessing around 40% carbs in that recipe with 23% protein. Forget grain free - disaster for dogs! Ketona is my choice at 47% protein and just 5% carbs and of the protein total only 10% of that is from peas, the rest meats. Then I'd personally take out 33% of the dry food and replace with fresh foods as you are doing with the topping off but just more of it. Keep carbs under 10%. Add eggs raw and mash the brown rice before serving. ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble

@@icebergslim8658 Everythings full of carbs and eventually carbs spell trouble for dogs. Ketonas not perfect but at least it's 5% carbs with natural additives. Carbs 10%+, drugs, vaxx.. all spell trouble. Avoid. Thank you, appreciated.
@@icebergslim8658 Those ones you can't avoid legally if I'm correct. It's just too many, too often with vaccines that cause auto immune issues basically and it's a BIG problem. It's a money game and the ingredients make dogs 'sensitive'.
I really like this video because it contains a good information about the best 3 dog food brands. It means quality natural dog kibble. So, just watch the entire video. Good job.
I had a quick look at the lamb and berries. Not bad, natural additives, decent proteins but as usual, where they cut costs is lower than normal proteins ie 28% when 48% is what dogs need and high carbs from potatoes (third ingredient after the proteins), around 40% when in reality dogs are better off with less than 10% (although only one pet food manufacturer achieves this). As I always state with all kibbles, you must take out some of the kibble from the meal ie 33% and replace with some fresh foods ie eggs, sardines, veg, organs, meats etc for a better nutritional meal and live enzymes. Kibble cannot sustain a dog for a life of health on it's own as it's not nutritionally balanced.
at the moment I'm feeding my dog raw stella and chewy kibble and add raw patty from primal on top. Is that a good diet or should I change something? My dog have a huge problem with allergies. Our vet have kept her on royal canine but it didn't help her at all. We switch to raw kibble and raw patty. It getting better but i just want to know its it a good diet for allergies?
It's a lot better than the vet rubbish. What your doing is good and I recommend adding eggs (a complete nutrition food) - crack open raw and serve), part cooked and well mashed veg and canned sardines (packed in water). That will make a difference. All 3 great allergy food. And stop all meds and vaccines including flea&tick and dewormers (there's natural alternatives for all, just ask).

I don't have your dogs history but it may be the carbs in the kibble. Or it may be vet related treatments or vaccines. I'd do none of them and focus on a healthier more fresh food based diet. Swap out the Acana for Ketyona: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble It's only 5% carbs! and all natural ingredients like Acna. To this meal I would remove half and replace with egg, canned sardines, some meat protein and some paert cooked and blended greens or some freeze dried greens: Green Immune + Super food - (GLM, phytoplankton, Microalgae and Spinach): healthydogforlife.com/GreenImmuneSuperfood This will change things for the better over the next few months. So now your low in carbs, no ver drugs and lots of quality proteins and antioxidants for the visible issues you see.
I have a pretty small dog that's about eleven years old. She has an awful yeast infection, all over. Her privates, ears, and underarms are awful, and she's lost a lot of her energy. Is there any specific dog food that you would suggest? I plan on changing up her diet, but is there anything else I should do outside of diet?
Outside of diet, yes, zero vet drugs, vaccines, flea&tick poison, dewormer poison, antibiotics etc There natural options for all of them. The biggest and easiest boost is with probiotics and your dog will nedd SBO probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU And live enzymes: amzn.to/2ksvlx1 and some hemp oil 1tsp per day: amzn.to/3vDdtjX Those 3 will make a beneficial difference quickly. Re diet, there's my ebook Feed Your Dog Better which has three major diets inside: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ BUT you must start adding some fresh foods to the meals to stem this problem and take out half the meals kibble volume. Add eggs, veggies and canned sardines (packed in water only).
@@DanScott1 thank you! Does all of these products go in her food? Probiotics, enzymes, etc? If we just add eggs to her food and reduce the kibble, will that help? My family doesn't have much money for all of this, so we may not be able to get it all at once. But I love my dog and I'll do everything I can.
@@Profanities. Yes goes in food. I cant see what I said above but start with probiotics. Yes add eggs and reduce kibble but get the probiotics and add to all meals, start small and work up the dose over several days.
@@Profanities. Yes, all in food. Start with the probiotics then and build up the dose size over a few days ie start small. Also add the eggs/veg and reduce the kibble accordingly. So start with eggs/veg/probiotics and lower the kibble.
Hi Dan I have used your methods over the last 2 years but our itchy dog is still dealing with some issues and the Derm recommended we try a 8 week elimination diet. Where we only use Purina Pro EL Elemental. Have you heard anything regarding this product? The use of crude protien is not something Im too happy about but its supposed to reduce histamines causing the excessive itching.
I'll be straight with you: that food (if you can call it that) will make things worse. Vets/Derms have not a clue about nutrition if that's their recommendation, (20 years research & practice tells me that 100%, a long, long story). I recommend my Healthier Kibble Diet, part of my eBook, Feed Your Dog Better: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ Or you can work with me via my One to One email dog health consultation and ongoing support service: healthydogforlife.com/one-to-one-total-dog-health-service/ This way I can help you fix this problem via nutrition and some supplements to get your dog normal again by building the immune system to fade out the histamines and the allergies over 12 weeks.
If i get one of these kibbles and then do a freeze dried raw food topper like “dr Marty’s natures blend” will that be enough nutrition for my puppy? I really want to go raw or fresh but i just can’t afford it at this time in my life.

@@DanScott1 amazing thank you so much! I just ordered natures logic & the digestive enzymes you suggested. I think I'm going to do one scoop of kibble, digestive enzymes, herring, an egg, raw fermented goats milk, and the greens. Hopefully this should be good. Thank you so much for providing these options for those who cant afford 100% raw or fresh. I've been looking everywhere and its so hard to find good info / products that don't cost an arm and leg.
Hi again shannon, the best kibble is raw freze dried but costs more than regular kibble. Try doing what I recommend from your other comment and adding some anti yeast extras to the kibble you feed, especially part cooked veg and the others discussed in the free guide. Veg is very anti yeast.
The three mentioned in the video are good. You'll need to check their ingredients list. I'm away ATM. When I get back Sat. I can check then if that helps.
Not everybody is willing to raw feed, so this video has value. I raw feed dinner & feed Carna4 for breakfast with yogurt or kefir added. I was very happy to find a quality kibble I could feed in the am.
@@makenziava08 It’s good, but very expensive. I’ve switched to Acana & Essence. I mix the two & alternate formulas monthly. They’re the number 2 & 3 food on the market. $60 a month for breakfast is too much when I provide raw food for dinner. It’s not much less, but I get 2 1/2 more lbs for a little less. The price of everything has gone through the roof lately & I can’t afford $100 a month anymore.
My question is if my puppy is a picky eater and after about a month on the puppy carna4 they are no longer interested. What other flavors can i introduce. Since the fish formula is mainly for puppies.
I'd look at it differently by adding fresh food to the mix. That's what they want. Throw in some eggs, veg (semi cooked and well crushed) and some canned sardines. Then see how they jump on the food.
Both look good on paper, very similar nutrition profile upon quick inspection, so try either choice. I will look into these more specifically in an upcoming video.
I don't like the company and I don't like the their ethics. My Family is part Italian and I have relatives in Italy. Farmina is basically like purina they say. And I won't feed acana because it's not the same as the Canadian version. So both is a no go. I would try annamaet or Dr tims
Have a 88lbs standard goldendoodle 9 years old. Not chubby not skinny and does about an hour of walking a day. He is been eating caidane kibble salmon and rice but in the past two months everytine he eats the kibble he gets diarrhea😞. So i put him on bland diet for about 5 days and he gets good but then he gets diarreha when eating kibble again. So iam thinking is the food. I think he also has some allergies cause he rubs his face with paws and also rubs face and body against couch and wall and rolls on ground like if he is scratching or something. Anyways debating between nutrisource, wellness or earth wild food for him. He is also been eating kibble with grains...don't know if I should give him grain free do to all the articles I been reading about grain free causing heart conditions?? Today I will be taking my dog to the vet so they can check diarrhea and also do allergy test even though they are not accurate
He's getting allergies from the kibble and it's additives, mainly the catbohydrates, sugars and additives. There maybe secondary issues from vaccines, flea&tick meds, dewoormers etc which complicate things (there are natural options for all of these - my lifes work here). You'll be offered a science diet option and some antibiotics or other diahrea reduction pills, may even say chicken and rice bland diet buts that's it from them. The vets won't help here as they don't undertsnad nutrition, it's all drug related reductionist science with them (western medicine generally). Kibble with (too many) grains causes allergies, kibble without grains causes allergies, probably worse as it's carbs based non grains. What your goldendoodle needs is fresh food in the diet, live enzymes, proteins, oils, natural vitamins and minerals... simple really but very effective. @@DanScott1 i have anotjer question. After i changed the caidane salmon and rice kibble for nutrisource lamb and brown rice no more diarrhea:). Hi is been on nutrisource food for about 5 days and so far so good. I also been giving him some brown rice, carrots and chicken breast with kibble.
I forgot to tell you the nutrisource kibble has probotics in it too. I also revived a nag of Dr Gary's best breed hollistic coldwater food. Should I mix it with the nutrisource? The only reason I bought Dr Gary's too was just in case the nutrisource did not work for my dog but it has been so far.
My standard goldendoodle was getting diarreha with cadeine salmon and rice food and also has some allergies. He is 9 years old. He gets good with bland diet then when I give him the kibble he gets diarrhea everytime. This is been going on for about two months. 30-40% carbs.. that's the issue with kibbles, even the premium ones. Ideally a dog want's under 5% carbs, hence the skin/itching/yeast/UTI infections/paw licking/hot spot issues. The only one I know that's 5% carbs is Ketona (doing a video about it soon), It's also 47% protein while most are under 30%. Dogs needs proteins around 50% minimum, fats 12%, calcium 10% (if feeding meats) and 5-10% veggies. Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble Natural aaditives too. Even then, I like to add some egg, canned sardines in water and some veggies to the meal while removing 25% of the meal kibble total for some fresh food additions to the diet - important.
@@DanScott1 many folks including me feed a complete raw but cut it with kibble…cost, traveling, boarding etc. so the tole 9f sry is far less important,,.
Hi, I have a pomeranian that is on complete wellness toy size kibble food. She keeps on getting bad diharrea monthly and im starting to think its her food. Last month she got bad to the point she got HGE. What food do you recommend I change her to? I know if I ask the vet they will say hills science or something related
Yes it's diet 9 times out of 10 with vet drugs causing the rest of the problems. As soon as a vet utters Science anything... run for the hills (pun intended lol). Aweful stuff. If your lovely little Pom, and they are sooo cute, was my dog, I'd feed a raw food diet as the dog is small, so the food budget is small and you can get some wonderful choices of quality pre-made raw food ready frozen meals that are also nutritionally complete. So simple, just defrost to just above room temperature and serve the amount for your dogs size. This way your dog has great health, no diarrhea or allergies and is happier all round. Theres primal foods, steves real food and many others you can do a search for local pet shops that provide raw frozen meals. Maybe with added probiotics and digestive enzymes?
@@karlazavala5355 Yes you can go the cooked food route for now. Will need three meat options ie chicken, lamb, beef for variation but not at the same time. Cook rare. I'd also add the GV to raw meals, great stuff, use it myself 20 yrs now.
Yes, one of the best brands alongside the 3 mentioned in the video. I still advise to add some fresh wholefoods to get live enzymes into the diet (important). My free guide has good advice on this and a good live enzyme product (linked). healthydogforlife.com/guide
I did a quick check for you: It's 20% protein, 10% fat and 50% carbohydrates and synthetic vitamins and minerals. It's strong smell comes from the fat. Conclusion: It's a budget pet food, low in nutrition, low in quality ingredients (this is the premium option). If that's all you have access to, definitely remove 33% from the bowl and replace with eggs, part cooked and blended veggies, canned sardines, plain yoghurt (lassi-no sugars) and any meats ie sheep/chicken plus offals ie liver etc or the guts from chicken.
@@Ys0143 Apparently it's pricey but the best available in India. It's 26% protein and around 40% carbohyrates. It's better than the previous one I checked. The carbs are way too high, like most dry pet foods. Dogs needs around 45% protein and 10% carbs. but almost no dry foods reach this level. I've found only one so far and I'm doing a video on it next week. I'd do like I say in the last comment and supplement with fresh foods.

Thank so much for sharing! Any particular one you'd recommend for a 8 week old Blue Heeler pup? Breeder was giving her Danidae puppy food. Would I need to transition her slow out of it?
Either of the 3 is fine. Yes, transition over 7 days: first days 75% old food, 25 new food.. see how that goes, then if ok, serve the same again (75/25). Then move to 50/50 for a couple of days and check how that works, if ok, move to 75% new food and 25% old foof for 2 days and see how that goes. If ok, them move to 100% new food. If at any time there is digestive upset, move back a step for a few days and slow things down for some extra days before moving on. I can not find dog food without Beef Chicken / kangaroo Dairy Wheat Sugar Carbs Rice Potatoes Starch Well I found one but it’s all fish with some starch. Starch is not the top 5 ingredient It’s Six Fish Dog Food by Orijen Whats your thoughts on this food? Also do you know of any foods without the ingredients I listed ?????
It's the top 5 ingredients that constitute 99% of the contents so the six fish is acyually what it says on the label. No I don't know a commercial dog food without the ingredients you mentioned. @@Kenken77733 Well it's all fish and some veg at 37% protein so that's good. I don't know it's toxicity levels from wild caught fish. NOTE: Orijen are subject to a class action lawsuit at present for high heavy metals in their foods a few years ago.
@@Kenken77733 I think whatever you get, ultimately you'll be best off adding your own choices of fresh foods likes eggs, veg, canned sardines etc. That way you can bump up the proteins, the live enzymes, vitamins, minerals etc and without too much effort if you plan ahead for it.
Can you tell me what you think about Nutri Source Pure Vita dog Kibble?? I feed that brand to my french bulldogs and use Primal brand raw patties and goats milk as topper with a little coconut oil too.
It's a good dry dog food with natural vit's/minerals. Get the chicken one. I recommend you add some extra protein to the meals, canned sardines with bone in and eggs (as well as the patties). Should be good to go.

@@MaximillianandRubyGrace Try some drizzled hot butter over the kibble then mix it in with the other foods. And at least you know what he likes to eat and can give more of that.
It's ok. Around 38% proteins, 17% fats and 30+% carbohydrates. With named animal proteins, decent additives, yes it's an ok kibble. However, I like low carbs as much as possible so I advise splitting the kibble meal with some fresh foods ie eggs, meat proteins, canned sardines and some veg just to get some live food into the dog which is vital to good health and lowering carbs to under 10% is a great way to lessen inflammation.

@@Tailsnpaws Anything good these days is expensive. 10% of the protein total is from peas, the rest (37%) is from meat. It used to be 4.2lb bags as the smaller offering but have changed to 8lb minimum bags just recently, maybe on economies of scale. I tried researching the base mix for you but could not find any guaranteed analysis but suspect it's pretty carb heavy, something to be aware of as carbs cause chronic health issues in canines. FYI, since the 1990's acetone is rarely used to make ascorbic acid. Molecularly and atomically, there's absolutely no difference between ascorbic acid made via an industrial process versus being made in an orange. There are many other helpful nutrients in an orange, but it's very misleading of you to simply say that because something is synthetic it is therefore bad.
It's because it's not understood by the body being an artificial substance and so it's expelled or stored and therefor of little use. No such issues with the natural option.
@@DanScott1 That's false. Ascorbic acid is vitamin C. Synthetically it's atomically identical. Your body has no way of differentiating. There are published studies on this.
@@DanScott1 I'm not arguing against natural products. I'm only arguing that it's very misleading to say that vitamins, like ascorbic acid, are in any way different based on their origin. Obviously, eating an orange is better in every way that taking a supplement.
@@kedmond Appreciate what your saying. It's just for me origin is everything and for me, I'm for natures choice as it's perfect already, no need for substitutes. As you say, wholefood is better. Sorry to hear that. Your dog would better off transitioning to a more fresh food based diet but still used kibble: If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better. Some must do's: Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination) If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer) No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!) Thanks so much. My 11 year old papillon is having digestive problem and producing too much acid . Is there any kibble that you would recommend that could help with his digestion?
What supplements should I provide to my senior dog?
My ebook has everything: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/
Best kibble is Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
Then you add some egg, sardines, veg (part cooked and blended), organs: amzn.to/337cxwj and meats at 30% of meal total to make a good diet that's neutral (not acid).

Looking at a new kibble and I am wondering, what would you consider a good amount of protein versus fat in a dog food kibble.?
A good kibble and there are precious few wants 40%+ protein 90% of which comes from animals and as low carbs as possible, and with 15% fats (that's what dogs need).
Have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble best I know of with 47% proteins, 6% carbs, 15 fats (i think) and all natural additives. They actually tell you the carb total in the Guranteed anaysis, other dont so add up the protein, fats, water (10%) and ash (usually 7% ish) and take away from 100 to get the carb value.
Hi can you please help me decide which of these 3 brands are better for my 9 year old beagle? 🙏🙏

Otherwise Natures Logic: https:amzn.to/2SVoVWM
But, and it's important, you still need some fresh foods (25% Min) in the mix, think eggs, meats, canned sardines, organs: amzn.to/337cxwj
And a quality soil based probiotic to make it all digest well: amzn.to/3yoURqU
Start any new food/supplements slow and small first week or two.

He's a 20 pound maltipoo.
That's great to hear, thanks for sharing. Also, please add the following to all meals: Probiotics - amzn.to/3J3IC7w and live enzymes - amzn.to/37MrINq
Both so very important for digestion health and the basics that should go in all kibble meals. Start them slow and small the first week.
I use the Answers raw goat milk as a topper for my dog. Do you use the Answers frozen raw Pattie’s as your main meal? If so how is it?
Hi Dan, thank you for this video ! From those three brand what can I feed my 3 month old cavapoo ?
I like Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD
Bixby Rawble - Freeze Dried Lamb - amzn.to/3kDbUmX
Great, natural, raw and affordable for smaller dogs.
What you think of victor dog food thanks
Big range, checked the classic, 32.5% carbs, 30% protein which is better than most. Nearly all kibbles are 30-50% carbs. Dogs need zero carbs actually, so less is always best, hence all the skin conditions, yeast and ear infections, plus the additives. There is Ketona which is 5% carbs and 47% proteins: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
Either way I'd still reduce kibble meal size by 33% and replace with fresh foods like meats, raw eggs, canned sardines in water and part cooked and blended veggies for greater nutrition and less carbs.
Mr Scot my dog as worms now I'm giving her pumpkin , and seeds yes she's poping them out with every motion, but I have noticed that these worm are very much a live I thought pumpkin was supposed to kill the worms ?
Pumpkin expells the worms, does not kill them. The best natural remedy to kill and expell all worms, larvae and eggs isBlack Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
There's another video all about this for worms.
This is the best I've seen so far: Ketona healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
It's the lowest carbs at 5% which is amazing for a kibble as they are usually high in carbs at 35%+ and carbs are inflammatory for dogs.
It's high in proteins, natural additives etc but as you can imagine, it's not cheap either. However, here's a away to make it go further while improving your dogs health at the same time:
Free Diet Advice:
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
It's vital to give your dog a good Omega-3 oil option too, and I recommend the best in (Ahi flower oil with Green Lipped Mussel Oil): amzn.to/3Yx9Z10 This one's for dogs with the added benefit of being excellent for joint health too.
Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy/allergy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
Some must do's:
Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination)
If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i
Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer)
No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!)
Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..
how good would it be for my dogs to have bixbis kibble with the bixbis liberty freeze dried ?
The dry stuff ia average I'd prefer to add some fresh food options such as eggs, meats, veg, sardines. But yes, you could do that.
@@DanScott1 I recently put my dogs on natures logic , but I’ve seen seeing people saying because of the high protein content causing bladder crystals. Now I’m a little worried. Any thoughts?? Ty

I homemake a fresh food additive to his food in the morning with chicken thigh, breast, livers, hearts, gizzards, brown rice, and green beens and carrots. I don't have the money or know-how to go 100% fresh, so I'm glad for good quality kibble to fill in the gaps
Excellent work Chloe. Crush/blend that rice once cooked so it's more easily digested, the veg too.
@@DanScott1 Thank you for the video, Dr. But I wonder: aren’t there enough carbs in the kibbles that we should need to add more carbs? Maybe just protein and organs maybe? And some veggies and a touch of fruit?

Your welcome: my current favorite and will be making a video about it soon is Ketona kibble as it's the only VERY low carb kibble is the US: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
Dogs do not fare well long term on high carbohydrate kibbles as it's very inflammatory, hence skin conditions, poor gut health, yeast, ear infections, UTI's and hot spots etc.
Is Merrick a good brand?
Not particularly. The best brand right now and one I'll make a video on very soon is Ketona: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
47% actual protein with just 7% carbs which is what we want.
Or there's a powerful antibiotic in oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T
But you must mix it with a carrier oil such as olive, grape seed, almond oil. at 1 part oregano oil to 5 parts carrier oil, mix and give 1/4tsp in food (med dog).

Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
It's the only full protein kibble I know of: 47% with just 6% carbs and correct fats at 15%.
Yes the meal is complete and balanced, just defrost to above room temp and serve but go slow when transiitioning to new diet ie 25%/75% new to old food first meal 2 days, then raise new to old food over the week, plus add this probiotic: amzn.to/3yoURqU
These are tough and better for new diet transition, again start them small first few days.
Is there a substitute for hidrlized food for my allergic dog. I would like him to try something different.
Whgat about a more fresh food based diet? Small dogs it's economic with freeze dried raw ready made meals for example: Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD
Bixby Rawble - Freeze Dried Lamb - amzn.to/3kDbUmX
Just add warmish water and serve.
And there's colostrum for allergies and sensitivities: amzn.to/3H79rad
Even something like raw green tripe is a great idea.
My dog is. On royal canin hydrolized food due to allergies anything else you would recommend?
Thnkyou so very much.

Find some: Probiotics: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
Give daily in food.
If you can make bone broth, add a few tables spoons to each meal.
All these things help the kidneys. And stay away from drugs, they just make things worse.
What about Orijen dog food?

Wow, nice video. Thank you so much.
Hey, your welcome.
For the ear infection, use silver spray: amzn.to/3gJ16i3
Spray the ears 2x daily for 7 days then stop. Must give soil based probiotics only ongoing: amzn.to/3yoURqU
Will improve digestion and lessen the yeast.
About the diet:
It's not so much the kibble, although you want a kibble with natural vitamins/minerals (most are synthetic - no good) The 3 in the video use natural. it's about adding fresh food to the diet like meats, eggs, canned sardines (in water), part cooked and blended veg to beef up the nutrition kibble cannot provide, hence the allergies and ear infections. Add these new extras and take out 30% of the meals kibble total and you'll see healthy changes fast.
Also get some hemp oil and add 1 Tbl sp to each meal:
amzn.to/3vDdtjX
Great for skin/coat/brain/body/allergies.

Swap out the Acana for Ketyona: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble
It's only 5% carbs! and all natural ingredients like Acna. To this meal I would remove half and replace with egg, canned sardines, some meat protein and some paert cooked and blended greens or some freeze dried greens: Green Immune + Super food - (GLM, phytoplankton, Microalgae and Spinach): healthydogforlife.com/GreenImmuneSuperfood
This will change things for the better over the next few months. So now your low in carbs, no ver drugs and lots of quality proteins and antioxidants for the visible issues you see.

Outside of diet, yes, zero vet drugs, vaccines, flea&tick poison, dewormer poison, antibiotics etc There natural options for all of them.
The biggest and easiest boost is with probiotics and your dog will nedd SBO probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU

Hi again shannon, the best kibble is raw freze dried but costs more than regular kibble.
Try doing what I recommend from your other comment and adding some anti yeast extras to the kibble you feed, especially part cooked veg and the others discussed in the free guide.
Veg is very anti yeast.
Is Origen and/or Essence good?
The three mentioned in the video are good. You'll need to check their ingredients list. I'm away ATM. When I get back Sat. I can check then if that helps.
Orijen and Acana are both made by Champion Foods at a very high quality using real human grade foods and natural vitamins.
The best dog food is raw. The second best is raw. Third best is raw. You get my point.
I do.

@@GreenWitch1 I was thinking about switching my dog to carna4 and adding in things like yogurt pumpkin ive heard lots of good things about this brand
Would u recommend n&d farmina with grains or acana with wholesome grains?

Ketona: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble

Too many people stuck on pills to solve a health issue when it's more about stopping bad health habits and having some discipline to introduce fresh foods to the body for healing.
Accana is bad. Caused bloody poop and vomiting in my min pin.
Sorry to hear that. Your dog would better off transitioning to a more fresh food based diet but still used kibble:
@@DanScott1 I have been cooking for her ever since. I don’t do shots as every dog I’ve ever had, has lived long lives without them. Thank you for the advice, much appreciated 💞
@@LC-jf5tp Your welcome.
Kibble?? That's like saying what's the best brand of cigarette for humans
Yes your right, but folks won't go straight to fresh food, I have to soothe them via better kibble (light cigs) and then onto adding fresh food, (herbal cigs) and then some of them make the leap to all fresh food diets for their dogs (no cigs).
I help more dogs this way, rather than saying you gotta give up cigs.
Unfortunately most dogs are on kibble diet! Not everyone have time, or finances to afford home made food.
@@usa2342 This is so true. What you can do is add some freah foods to the kibble... it's what my book is all about.
@@DanScott1 I’ll need to get your book!

Is this guy a scammer? I tried for 30 minutes to get information and got led down a trail after 30 minutes of going to one link after another that finally led to my PayPal account. Wow! There is a SCAMMER born every minute. Where is the SECRET recipe???... the secret recipe is that it leads to someone else's bank account!: while your bank account dwindles! sorry... not today!
No, not a scammer, a dog health specialist. If you had a technical issue, email me and I'll help you out Vickey.
Vickey....this guy answers EVERY question asked to him, no one on youtube does that let ALONE in person. He's legit.....he gives a free download link on here AND offers a super cheap way of getting your dog onto 1 of 3 better diet plans. I have NO idea what link you clicked or what hole you drug yourself down, but you definitely and RIDICULOUSLY just through hate at the wrong person. Be kind and do your homework before you try to bash someone just because you took a wrong turn down the link lane😊 Dan, I know that didn't bother you, but we got your back!💖
