This is incredibly cool!! So neat to see this sort of thing for a company we definitely purchase from and enjoy!

What a great road trip! I had no idea Redmonds 🧂 even offered this. My daughter would've loved the "Jurassic Park Doors" - great touch. I kept wondering what it smells like without the diesel exhaust? I bet the salt keeps the air super fresh and clean.
It's amazing that they let you take a big rock like that! I bet the kiddos loved it 🥰

I am so happy you got to go. Be sure to use a plate under the rock on the mantle. I got salt rocks out of the WIPP mine outside of Carlsbad, New Mexico years ago, and it ate the paint off my stair riser. That was a super duper field trip, too.

Thanks for taking us along on the tour. That was so interesting! I've been down to the salt mines in Hutchinson, Ks. but it is totally different.

What a fantastic tour of the salt mine! You and Lindsey were talking about the quiet, were there any other sensory aspects like smell and sight that were different? Ohhh, loved the souvenirs or salt, though in our hot, humid climate, I wonder how long it would last. And I would really be stocking up on all that salt at the store. I order online, but to have all those choices.

Why wasn't Levi allowed to go into the mine?

I would love to know if they allow wheelchair users on the tour. I sent a message a while ago to them but havent received a reply.

The Redmond salt and gravel pits. I hate that salt; it’s so nasty with big chunks of tooth shattering gravel in it. I will never bite it again.
