Those loops are a killer idea. Don't know why I haven't thought of it before-thanks!

I love using a belly strap on big water. Added advantage is you can use it to flip the boat back over, I find it easier than a flip line or paddle.

I've never seen one in person. But the Rapid Rung looks like it could be a great option depending on one's personal needs.

The Rapid Rung should only be used when there is no moving current. These techniques are important for rivers with current.

Adding those webbing handles under my Aire 146DD was an absolute game changer. I can quickly pull myself back up with one arm, in current.
I flipped on Lochsa falls a few weeks ago, and was back up on my boat in 2 seconds... Getting it back over was a different story 😬(ask @PrivateWhitewater).

Similar to the grab loops, I use a length of accessory cord in a figure 8 through the floor ropes on my aire raft. It's super low profile and the knots are a bit easier to work with to adjust and get it the perfect length than with webbing. The current setup has been on the boat for two years. No mildew, no visible wear on the rope or boat, and never caught it on anything.

Big fan of the set up that baker and the team use at ace rafting in WV raft handles on the bottom of the boat is a game changer for me

Would you add handles to the bottom of your rafts in Iceland?

The Aire R series design with the seam in the middle of the bow and missing handle make it even tougher - one of the reasons I went with another boat option

I use 2’ straps and 8” sections of heavy rubber hose to make handles that run through my drain holes.
