Great idea, I might need to do the same. Although I'll probably just bolt it down then see if it passes containment before removing agitator. I suspect it'll be depend on the self containment officer if they sign it off...
Great proactive modification for the new standard. I have my Self containment inspector training this weekend so quite interested in finding out more about what's required. Let me know when you need it certified.
We’ve got an “airhead” composting toilet in our bus. We remove the agitator and put a bucket in for inspections and put it back to original for the rest of the time! It just doesn’t work as well modified and legal!
We will add it to a future episode. Marcel modified it to meet the new certification requirements according to the place we bought the toilet from so should be good 🙂
get the tank fixed by a professional. Mine ripped in two and a tank plastic manufacturer welded it for $25. test the biological composting bags first. they breakdown quickly when damp or wet.

True… all the best. Bit of a pain but we are finding it’s much more pleasant with being able to just remove the plastic bag and tie it off 🙂
Well done Marcel. You really do know a lot about a lot.
Haha, he does know a lot about a lot 🙂

Thanks. It’s what we were told we needed to do by the place that sold the natures head toilet.
Where are you based to do inspections?
Great vid guys. Have you now got the green sticker with those mods to your toilet?
No, not yet.
Does our current one still apply til it’s expiry date? 😬 will have to find out.
We are off to get a COF this week in Blenheim.
@@gallichantrucklifenz Interested to know how it goes, we'll need to do our Airhead before next June
