Don't worry about the Trading Posts (guaranteed on large islands) - they're supposed to be endgame stuff. Though you can get into them earlier than you'd think, which would probably be smart, which I wasn't :P

I played solo for a long while. Surviving the first few days takes luck and is kinda stressful, but after that it's very doable.
Plenty of popular streamers who swear up a storm, up to you :)

Should you make the collection area 5 wide when you bring it back to the interior? Basically just one spot to walk around on the sides to capture more stuff.
