Never faced any issue whatsoever with amazon. Trust is maintained from last 8 years.One seller charged me 6000₹ above mrp i complaint and it was refunded right away with a apology 😂. What's happening nowadays is - some customers order expensive things and then put a return request and return some old/used similar item. Their argument is that they have received the same used item and now they want full refund. I've literally seen people doing this. Online shopping applications needs to add security measures to make sure the same item gets return that was delivered.

I worked in Amazon as a delivery boy and this problem is common because for return product some time there is no image for product verification so customer gave us any product for some products there's a verification image to match the product
Bro but sometimes there is error in the delivery model itself, the same happened with me when I ordered a jacket worth rs3000 on myntra and got a sweater which had loose strings and open hemline.The main problem was that my parents recieved it and kept the package and furthermore I couldn't return it because the bill and the tags on the packaging were of the jacket😢
The delivery boy who picks the order from customer usually checks the product. So most probably it's the delivery boy's fault. They should be held responsible

Only a solution is when Amazon or Flipkart recieve the product from merchant they have to check weight of product and mention on the seal at the time of delivery... Hence a single scame cannot happen in these companies
My father sell wire on Amazon and got back shoes in return. Although 90% rs ka claim hojata.. but still. And also we took claims of wrong product which came back right.. so equation was settled 😅

It must be done by courier partner. Cause whenever pickup is done they check properly item n ASK also reason to return and verify with product before picking up. It can't be customer but fraud is done by courier boys in both side
Same goes with the customer seller scam them by sending fake Copy item and sometimes customer has to bare the loss. So you are not the only one who get scammed.

If customer is self the same you can contact with seller support and they didn't issue customer refund.
These things are not done by the customer , most of the time it is done by the person in the delivery department because the delivery boy always checks the product before accepting it
