      Yep, it is a pretty steep climb. But you stop many times to look at the dinosaur prints

      Yes, my husband told me last night that they were closing it. But I decided not to redo the video. he said that they've got a whole season. They're still going to be open. So you could still go and do a video.

    That’s definitely a steep walk up to the dinosaur footprints. But, it looks like it’s worth it. Next time I’m in Denver… I need to go! I’ve never heard of this place.

    Super interesting! So cool to see the dinosaur tracks and the scratch marks too! I only know the names of a few dinosaurs… it’s fun to learn more by seeing their tracks and the environment where they loved. Cool geology, red rocks and great views of Denver.     I guess it makes sense, water ripples. Like maybe as the water is residing. So as the water kept going down the Crocs stayed in Louisiana and Florida. Seeing the volcanic ash was pretty cool. Nicely informed. Well done👍🏻👍🏻39

    Amazing footage, so interesting to see the tracks and imagining how it was back when they roamed here. The ghost town sounds amazing too. And the red rocks are so stunning. Great view from the top of the ridge. I liked the replica of the dinosaur that made the tracks on the ridge. We are headed back to CO next week.

    I wish I had known about this when we were in Denver a few years ago. I love places like this. So many different footprints and indentations. And the area looks really beautiful too with great views.

      Look up Stegosaurus Trail from the parking lot of Wrigley s Field Sportsbar with reasonable prices and great field

    Wow, we sure wish we knew about this place when we were there in 2016. That's right up our alley. Definitely will need to make a trip back, that is an awesome place that is preserved. Sad that people can't respect our historic for all others to enjoy. Looking forward to your Ghost Town adventure. Oh that's a Raptor...that's awesome.

    This was a fascinating video. Very cool to see dinosaur tracks in the rocl. It is ridiculous that people vandalized the rock to steal these fossils from the site. Thanks for sharing Dinosaur Ridge with us!

    You guys should do the road cut, too - it's actually really interesting! We used to be able to drive over the hogback at Dinosaur Ridge and that rounded out area (concretion) at the top was painted like an eye. One of the best things about spring is seeing Green Mountain green!

    That's amazing they have they carbon dated that area? I have been to that Red Rock Amphitheatre it has definitely been many many many years ago. The Acoustics there is absolutely awesome. Thank you for sharing. As usual very interesting🤗🐕👍👍👍👍👍

    I ended up watching it twice cause my grandson wanted to see it. He is only 5, but he was so interested in the whole thing. I figured after 5 minutes he’d be done, but no, he watched the whole thing and asked my a million questions. 😂😂

      Yes but DO NOT TAKE DINOSAUR RIDGE BUS 12$ up and if you get off bus they WONT PICK YOU BACK UP

    Above the footprints on the ridge is Dakota Ridge/Dinosaur Ridge Trail along the highway...great views

    Such an amazing space! I loved seeing the ripples from the water in the mud and the tracks. Such a shame that some people feel the need to take them away. 😕 So selfish. Wish they would just take a plaster cast to satisfy themselves, although I am sure it wouldn't make as much money.

      It's steep but short..tour bus WILL NOT PICK YOU UP if you get off...you can take w lightrail to Golden Courthouse ...walk across hwy 6 and about 1/2 mile down the bike trail is Wrigley s Field Sports Bar...behind Wrigley's in the Parking lot is the hill to Tin Cup sports field...to the SW Is the Stegosaurus Trail trail to Dinosaur Ridge

    Just take the Stegosaurus Trail from Wrigley s Sportsbar and head up the back of the Parking lot

    Do not take the bus..
    $12+ bus too expensive and if you want to get out...then you gotta walk down afterwoods...they wont pick you up
