I'm a new NCT fan. I thought Taeyong is the best dancer in NCT, I was surprised while watching Weekly Idol when members mentioned Ten when asked who is the best dancer. I got curious & searched for Ten & found this MV. Now I know why Ten was mentioned the best dancer in NCT. I think he's one of the best dancer in all kpop rookies (even seniors). I stan Ten now!

Coming back after seeing all of the other contestant's performances, I have to say that he is seriously is the best! He's the one who portrayed the Devil concept the most and his performance was legendary.

About BDS MV (Why Only this 2 where are others, and I'm being stupid thinking Ten not the one was singing, and thinking he is lipsing. But finally they are perform in Korean platform since TBT and Bad Alive, but many people hate it too. Why Cpop in Korean Music Show. OMG..! I've ever watched They are saying "We are really happy when performing", "Please dont forget or leave us". They are know how about their promotion in there is really different too. 진짜 다시봐도 미쳤다.. 텐이 누구보다 춤에 진심이라는 걸 다시 한번 보여준 무대 컨셉도 컨셉이었지만 그걸 극대화해줄 수 있는 능력이 정말 중요하다고 생각하는데, 놀랍게도 악마의 기괴함을 잘 표현해낸 안무를 생각보다 훨씬 더 잘 살려냈음에 감탄했다. 텐의 춤은 정말 아티스트적인 면이 강했다. 어쩌면 에스엠의 댄스 계보를 잇는 사람은 다른 누구도 아닌 텐이었을지도 모르겠다는 생각이 많이 든 무대.

Its funny how I was watching the raw(unsubbed) of the full episode, it seems like no one (non of the contestants) wanted to performed first. Those with the most tv variety shows and exposure all seems so scared to be first to perform their dance. I know that Ten lost the chance to choose when he get to perform, however, I so proud that TEN being a Rookie Idol (with debuting only 3 months ago) with the least experience on a Korean show like this and to also score as high as he did as the FIRST one to do his dance performance. He did such an awesome job and raise the bar that he's not someone to be taken lightly just because he is a Fresh Rookie Idol.

The scene : Ten's old school visit .Min: 3.50- 4.05 - his 2 Thai teachers said something about his studies - his kind-hearted and active personality ..esp... 4.05 about the lady teacher who taught him Thai subject during lunchtime. As TEN never stayed still. So, she told him to sit down on the floor during lecture , Tbh, he really didn't like Thai subject , but he loves dancing..then instead of sitting , he was rolling down on the floor !!! Unfortunately , the Engsub didn't show the word " " นอน กลิ้งไป กลิ้งมา." means " ROLLING ". Only Thai viewers can hear this word " in Thai......Hope can help ..LOL
Taemin cheering him on was actually the cutest, he's so proud of Ten! He's literally watching the future of SM's legendary dance line in front of him and he's so happy! Ten is so talented, he makes all his sunbaes very proud, I'm sure!
That was so creepy but at the same time really cool.Whoever came up with the choreo was really creative.When i saw the crawl I thought he looked possessed then i saw that the motivation was the movie Priest and was like damn that was very clever.
To be able to do the back crawl, you have to really really stretch those muscles especially the lower back. If the muscles are not warmed up sufficiently, no matter how much weight the core muscle is supporting, injury is inevitable.
I know why ukwon won, he captured the feel the best and really put on a performance. But ten, by far, was the best dancer and overall he did the best because at no point was he outshined or outdanced by his crew and he also captured the concept and delivered with passion. Its okay for him to loose because it's still early on in the show and he is a rookie from sm so if he did win then people would blame his company instead. At least now people know that if he wins in the future its because of his Talent and not his company
Old Ten in pre-wayv era was so underrate. he tried so hard after NCT U debut to challenge and improve himself in order to prove that he deserves to be on the stage, while SM wasted him time almost 3 years while others in 127 or dream began to shine, even his knee got injured or I don't know whether how difficult life or how suffered he been through in the past but, after all, I'm so thankful that you could get through till now you're still here and became a main vocal and dancer in groups. I hope you'll receive more and more opportunities to fulfill your own dream on kpop industry. it seems to be late for staning u in 2021 but it's still lucky to find you. I love you Ten! I don't think many people realize how hard it is to execute the move at 1:50 as well as Ten did. His head stayed in the exact spot as he flipped, not many people can do that👏
At first I thought there were a lot of unnecessary movements but then nah it made his overall performance even better. All performances were under 3 minutes but his definitely felt longer and better. His flexibility, expression, stage presence, and dance skills really shown through this performance. Unlike the other three he stayed in the spotlight without his dancers outshining him. Bora didn't have multiple backup dancers but at some parts her dancer definitely did better than her. However, for Ten he had my attention 100% every time I replay this. I'm rooting for Hoya as an Inspirit but after seeing this, Ten has definitely got my vote this time around. But I can't wait to see how Hoya does his performance as a devil of some sort.
Yes, I felt like the move is kind of unnecessary but it is really help him to build the story, next time the move should be a little bit more concise :) Anyway, Ten should be the winner of these three :( because I can't stop watching this performance! Very interesting. Congrats! 1M!
Ten was the junior among many expert dancers and he did an amazing performance cause he's extremely talented but hardworking. Ten's grown a lot as a dancer and singer and he keeps being charismatic and humble artist.
I feel bad now for putting off this performance just because he was a member of NCT, and for thinking that everyone was saying that he should of won just because he was an SM artist. This kid has real talent, and if the main focus of the competition had been conveying a story mainly through dance, this kid would have nailed it!!!!

I am still so freaking impressed by this. Ten is my bias, and I knew he could dance, but this exceeded all of my expectations. I can't help but to wish he had ranked higher. Not only was the performance extremely well executed, but it was so befitting of the concept. I definitely think his performance matched the devil concept best. Either way I'm happy though. I feel like this performance got him some well deserved recognition. Now people know what he is capable of.

It's been 2 years since I fell for kpop. I have got to know to many popular or unpopular groups, I have seen lots of performances, known as dance kings - Kim Jongin, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Lee Taemin, etc. But THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL PERFORMANCE I HAVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I'm speechless, honestly. His flexibility, facial expressions... He totally owns the stage and he knows it. Ten, I admire you. 🔥❤
His performance was actually the best. He did the devil theme so well. I keep watching this. It's addictive. But of course in any kpop contest, people will vote for their bias always, no one cares about performance. It's sad even the judges (Jblack for instance) mentioned that he feels bad for Ten because he always gets low points from the audience.
If we could please stop comparing Ten to other dancers in the industry that'd be nice. It shouldn't be "wow he's like a mix of ___ and ___!" It should be "wow this kid has is OWN dancing style and is something new in the industry!" Because Ten can certainly hold his own against any dancer 선배 out there, and he should be seen as his own person rather than a mix of two already successful dancers.

He will be more associated as the little Taemin (or whatever artist people feel like using) than as an artist himself. Not only that, but there's a difference between "he's a young version of taemin" and "wow he's just as good as taemin!". One not only compliments him but also recognizes he is a unique and individual artist, and the other puts him in Taemin's shadow. Looking at it from even Ten's point of view it's best to call him amazing and wonderful instead of comparing.
Comparison is sometimes needed for other people to understand somebody. Ten is relatively new when this happened so peole needs someone who is already an established icon in the industry to compare his abilities with. It's how new stars are born.

After watching the performance of street dance at sbs gayo, he stood out.. and I started to watch all of his performance, show and mvs of nct.. And I think, I became a fan! 😍
NCTU is a special unit & pillar unit because that unit is focus more on SM experimental music. the member will change according to genre and their comeback is a mystery. they dont have regular comeback like normal group

Justin Choe NCT is a group with bunch of subunit. the only subunit with the permanent member is NCT127 because that unit is local based unit. china unit, japan unit, SEA unit, etc will be permanent unit too. idk what you mean NCTU have so much potential? do you mean musically or what? because NCTU itself its part of NCT which they will be having their full group debut in the future. if you mean musically its just SM way to experiment on NCT music. its like finding which type of music they suit the best or finding what the public wants more or finding which member will have more fans. cuz NCT target is more building individual fandom
Tens talent and dance is unlike anything i have seen before. the way he moves, and how fast he is able to change it. one moment his moves are very choppy (not in a bad way!) and still extremely sharp, and the next they are incredibly smooth with no awkward pauses or little "twitches". this boy is gifted, and i look forward to seeing more dance from ten!

If we actually think about it... even from back then... SM wasn't only for visual. I think it just seemed like that because compare to other companies, they were more sensitive on the visuals.
Bias set aside, I think this was the best performance out of all Mnet has uploaded so far (only Bora, Momo, and UKwon). He fit the concept, captured my attention, and danced very sharply and fiercely. I also feel like it had more of an impact than the other dancers...:(. However, I'm still looking forward to the sunbaes' performances!!
agree... i really anticipate this show to see great dance move but you see... the others contestant who already perform too focus on make up and face,... it's a dance competition not make up, so it's feel not right for me... i just not get the feeling and the only performance that get my attention tonight is Ten. This is hands down one of the best dance performances I've ever seen. From the global dance competitions to shows like the X-factor k-pop to all the stuff I've seen over the years..Personally I think the feel, the vibe, the "story" conveyed and the delivery was excellent. Of course no performance is perfect, but for me this comes close. BUT WHERE CAN I FIND A VERSION WITHOUT THE REPETITIVE EDITING, AUDIENCE REACTIONS AND SCREAMS that distract from the performance!!!???
Out of the four performances, this one and the joker one r my fav. One wins by the facial expression, the other wins by the body-expression, if I'm saying this correctly. The acting part of the joker performance comes from the facial expression, but here, the acting part comes from the dance itself. Maybe another way to put it is that, the choreo alone already tells the story, which is something I wouldn't find in the joker performance. I love both performances
+Geek girl dance is a live spectrum haha. It's more than just dancing. This show is more than just dancing. The producers says it's a performance show, not just dancing. Ukwon did a musical theater concept of dance

Not that I dance nowadays, just that I've noticed some differences between someone who dance and a dancer---- oh reminds me of Jackson, who said something like "I'm a person who raps", not a rapper?

I found out about WayV and him in Moonwalk and Love Talk. And They are so good.
And finally i realized WayV is Cpop, there are so different between Cpop and Kpop. Cpop not that much appreciated there. They must attend a lot of variety show there to get more recognized. Its funny how I was watching the raw(unsubbed) of the full episode, it seems like no one (non of the contestants) wanted to performed first. Those with the most tv variety shows and exposure all seems so scared to be first to perform their dance. I know that Ten lost the chance to choose when he get to perform, however, I so proud that TEN being a Rookie Idol (with debuting only 3 months ago) with the least experience on a Korean show like this and to also score as high as he did as the FIRST one to do his dance performance. He did such an awesome job and raise the bar that he's not someone to be taken lightly just because he is a Fresh Rookie Idol.

Ten made the choreo along with the dance team he performed with. They did amazing.
To be able to do the back crawl, you have to really really stretch those muscles especially the lower back. If the muscles are not warmed up sufficiently, no matter how much weight the core muscle is supporting, injury is inevitable.

I know why ukwon won, he captured the feel the best and really put on a performance. But ten, by far, was the best dancer and overall he did the best because at no point was he outshined or outdanced by his crew and he also captured the concept and delivered with passion. Its okay for him to loose because it's still early on in the show and he is a rookie from sm so if he did win then people would blame his company instead. At least now people know that if he wins in the future its because of his Talent and not his company

At first I thought there were a lot of unnecessary movements but then nah it made his overall performance even better. All performances were under 3 minutes but his definitely felt longer and better. His flexibility, expression, stage presence, and dance skills really shown through this performance. Unlike the other three he stayed in the spotlight without his dancers outshining him.
Bora didn't have multiple backup dancers but at some parts her dancer definitely did better than her. However, for Ten he had my attention 100% every time I replay this.
I'm rooting for Hoya as an Inspirit but after seeing this, Ten has definitely got my vote this time around. But I can't wait to see how Hoya does his performance as a devil of some sort.

Ten was the junior among many expert dancers and he did an amazing performance cause he's extremely talented but hardworking. Ten's grown a lot as a dancer and singer and he keeps being charismatic and humble artist.
I feel bad now for putting off this performance just because he was a member of NCT, and for thinking that everyone was saying that he should of won just because he was an SM artist. This kid has real talent, and if the main focus of the competition had been conveying a story mainly through dance, this kid would have nailed it!!!!

I am still so freaking impressed by this. Ten is my bias, and I knew he could dance, but this exceeded all of my expectations. I can't help but to wish he had ranked higher. Not only was the performance extremely well executed, but it was so befitting of the concept. I definitely think his performance matched the devil concept best. Either way I'm happy though. I feel like this performance got him some well deserved recognition. Now people know what he is capable of.

I have got to know to many popular or unpopular groups, I have seen lots of performances, known as dance kings - Kim Jongin, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Lee Taemin, etc. But THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL PERFORMANCE I HAVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. But of course in any kpop contest, people will vote for their bias always, no one cares about performance. It's sad even the judges (Jblack for instance) mentioned that he feels bad for Ten because he always gets low points from the audience.

One not only compliments him but also recognizes he is a unique and individual artist, and the other puts him in Taemin's shadow. Looking at it from even Ten's point of view it's best to call him amazing and wonderful instead of comparing.
Comparison is sometimes needed for other people to understand somebody. Ten is relatively new when this happened so peole needs someone who is already an established icon in the industry to compare his abilities with. It's how new stars are born.

Tens talent and dance is unlike anything i have seen before. the way he moves, and how fast he is able to change it. one moment his moves are very choppy (not in a bad way!) and still extremely sharp, and the next they are incredibly smooth with no awkward pauses or little "twitches". this boy is gifted, and i look forward to seeing more dance from ten!

If we actually think about it... even from back then... SM wasn't only for visual. I think it just seemed like that because compare to other companies, they were more sensitive on the visuals.

Imagine they did this with gen 4 & gen 5 idols my god. This was such a good show with all f talented artists! Wish they would do it again
Bias set aside, I think this was the best performance out of all Mnet has uploaded so far (only Bora, Momo, and UKwon). He fit the concept, captured my attention, and danced very sharply and fiercely. I also feel like it had more of an impact than the other dancers...:(. However, I'm still looking forward to the sunbaes' performances!!

agree... i really anticipate this show to see great dance move but you see... the others contestant who already perform too focus on make up and face,... it's a dance competition not make up, so it's feel not right for me... i just not get the feeling and the only performance that get my attention tonight is Ten. He show off his dance and the backup dancer not involved to much to the dance... good job Ten 👍👍👍👍
+Rosediana Eka Hit The main theme of the show is to present the chemistry between the collaboration of the idol and the crew. I agree that Ukwon team won by 4 points, their team work is the best for today. Not only Ukwon, the crew is highly noticed by the audience.

This is hands down one of the best dance performances I've ever seen. From the global dance competitions to shows like the X-factor k-pop to all the stuff I've seen over the years..Personally I think the feel, the vibe, the "story" conveyed and the delivery was excellent. Of course no performance is perfect, but for me this comes close. BUT WHERE CAN I FIND A VERSION WITHOUT THE REPETITIVE EDITING, AUDIENCE REACTIONS AND SCREAMS that distract from the performance!!!???

Out of the four performances, this one and the joker one r my fav. One wins by the facial expression, the other wins by the body-expression, if I'm saying this correctly. The acting part of the joker performance comes from the facial expression, but here, the acting part comes from the dance itself. Maybe another way to put it is that, the choreo alone already tells the story, which is something I wouldn't find in the joker performance. I love both performances

+Geek girl dance is a live spectrum haha. It's more than just dancing. This show is more than just dancing. The producers says it's a performance show, not just dancing. Ukwon did a musical theater concept of dance
+Geek girl but the thing is when it comes to dancing, you also need a good facial expression or else it will drag your whole performance (from my pov) cause i've been to dance contests and i swear if your facial expression is on point, it will make your performance 10000x cooler (okay maybe thats too much but you get my point right)

Geek girl like everyone else said, dancing isn't just "dancing", it's far more than technical skills. I know a lot of ppl who don't dance think its all about the movements cause I was like that too. Not that I dance nowadays, just that I've noticed some differences between someone who dance and a dancer---- oh reminds me of Jackson, who said something like "I'm a person who raps", not a rapper?
Ten's dancing skill is far beyond kpop level, and look at Taemin's proud face 2:13 that's him right?
