You guys should offer a thumb throttle option I recently bought a new finger throttle and fitted my own thumb throttle, as was struggling with taking my finger off and hitting the brake. And it's the best thing I've done. I've also added wider bars for high speeds. This thing is brilliant! I was going to order a Zero10x but I'm glad I didn't. Waiting for legislation to be put in place for Electric scooters now.
Deadpuppies86 Youre on my wave!! I want to change and install a twist or thumb throttle instead of the finger. If possible, can you point me in the direction of the wider bars and thumb throttle links/website please. (If theyre for the R1 scooter)
nice short as always.. can you retro fit an Ohlins Damper or similiar to the R1 to aid in keeping it true at high speed to stop column wobble out of interest?

It’s on as standard! To test, slightly pull the brake levers around half an inch, they’ll be a slight delay then the Regen will kick in as if you are braking fully
god, i can’t decided between this and the P1 pro and this new FF that’s coming out. i’m mainly going to be on the road and tarmac but i can be quite harsh going up curbes etc. Can the P1 pro take a bit of off road use ?
If you are going to be going up curbs harshly I would highly recommend the R1 - it has far superior suspension than the P1 Pro FF would be overkill for you, as that is for heavy off road use ☺️ Hope that helps
@@SolarScootersuk okay yes it’s probably a good idea to get the R1 then. What are the differences between the R1 and FF then? I see the FF has a higher range so how come you advice the R1 over the FF? Is it due to stability on the road ?
@@aaronarnold714 main difference really is size - FF is BIG ! Like a motorbike, and is really build for true off roading. R1 is like a mini FF, just as fast and does 5 miles less per charge. It’s more subtle and the suspension is still amazing, very cushiony. Unlike the P1 Pro which is quite tight / lean
@@SolarScootersuk Yes I agree now, the R1 is definitely the best choice, it looks great :) I have the F1 at the moment - until you have stock so I can upgrade - and I love the seat on it, makes it feel safer and is quite comfortable. Is there any chance the R1 can be fitted with a seat? I saw you have a limited edition FF with the seat - would be great if you did the R1 with that same system, I don't mind paying more. The folding handle bars are also a very helpful feature for when I go travelling, it's much easier to get in the car with other bags - I don't suppose this is a coming/possible feature on an R1? Thanks!
