- Today I wanted to discuss the leak of a Battle Royale mode that could be coming soon to Cod WW2 as well as have a discussion about the potential for a BR mode in the upcoming Black Ops 4. What do you think?

That' old school mode is what got me into playing FPS games. Medal of Honor with a quadruple split screen using a multi-tap on PS2. Looking at the other screens and smacking each other's controller where the tactics back in the day lol.
i feel you bro. Good ass times. I remember this for halo as well
I rather they use the resources to make a better MP than a BR
IRISnGEN If you're talking about WWII I agree. If you're talking about BO4 i somewhat agree because I dont want battle royale in it but i want the zombies to have more resources.
IRISnGEN
Exactly. All the people saying "WhY nOt?!" are fucking stupid.
It would obviously take away from the rest of the game.
Agreed
I don't get the fascination of battle royale games, I really don't.
TheAlmightyHux same, Fortnite is ok but it's nothing amazing
TheAlmightyHux it’s new, refreshing, challenging, fun with friends, competitive, and the suspense. It’s amazing to people for this and many more reasons.
Y Tho I'm sure it is to those who enjoy it. But I personally don't get it or the hype around it.
Matthew Andrews new now to many people.
Ace you deserve wayyyyy more subs man... up the good work dude, love ur channel!
Timothy Escobedo fr all the hard work he puts in
Timothy Escobedo better than driftor and his intro
No ! God please ! no ! NO !
9BeastKing exactly its so oversaturated in the current gaming scene.
The Reverse Paradox Who is kid for you ?
The Reverse Paradox You call him a Kid yet you act like a Kid. How ironic.
Infinity Ward is better than Treyarch and that's why I'm sticking to playing single player games, because of how bored I am with these games
Why would you put spaces before your punctuation?
I don't care. As long as TDM is present I am interested in CoD.
+Gaming Killz I'm NOT forced, nobody is, but problem is that chances are that 90% of people migrate to it... and on PC there are very few people... if 90% go to the battle royal crap there will be no people in other game modes...
nobody care about pc
And ffa for sure
+Gaming Killz
Battle Royal is more casual than TDM XD
And CoD WW2 has had the best connection and net-code(mainly due to it finally being 60hz) second only to Ghosts.
And as a person that plays on PC, no matter the prestige it's always full of tryhards so I'm used to it, but I do more than fine against them as long as they do NOT horde with 3+ people.
And I really, really like war, I hope future cods keep it, changing the name to suit the setting and the objectives to suit the settings. War is what Rush from BF should, it's what rush from BF BC2 was but on a smaller scale and I'm just giving a comparison, due to the excellent execution in BF, War is unique on it's own and is NOT a copy of Rush from battlefield, but it's a good comparison.
IIIRattleHeadIII you're the first person who i see say ww2 has good connections lol 😂
Honestly, i don’t think CoD needs to have anything to do with a BR game mode for multiple reasons. First, CoD has made its way and stayed at the top for the fact that it is a fast paced arcade shooter. Think of all the games that have challenged CoD’s popularity over the years (Battlefield, Titanfall, CS:GO, Overwatch, Rainbow six, Destiny, hell, you could even make a case for games like GTA 5 and even minecraft). All of these games followed a different formula than CoD, and were unable to permanently keep fans away for the nature of CoD’s fast paced fun and yearly release cycle. Fortnite is the newest contender, and as history tells, CoD generally hasn’t changed and has always come out on top.
Second, I feel many of CoD’s fans don’t resonate with the BR playstyle, myself included. I go into the comments of videos of CoD youtubers and see many fans saying they think BR is boring (this comment section included). It makes sense considering it is basically the polar opposite to CoD, as it is slow paced and heavily luck based, rather than fast and mostly gunskill based.
Finally, I just don’t think it’s necessary in the long run for the fact that I think BR will fade out. I always thought it will take the same course as minecraft did. People thought it was addictive and the best at it’s peak, but over time despite frequent updates, people just got tired of it. I feel the similarity between pace and exploration of BR and minecraft will lead BR down a similar path.
Thanks for reading my essay.
People saying they'll never play again if they add Battle Royale mode? It would just be a mode, you don't have to play it. The CoD community is such aids sometimes.
SavageCabbage88 playerbase would be split
Abdullah Akhtar I agree the playerbase would be thinned out but not in a significant way I don't think. There's millions of players that play cod. You'll always find a lobby.
Abdullah Akhtar no it wouldn't. People would still play both
The Reverse Paradox What i have seen is all communitys are the same doesn't matter what game it is.
Look at War in WWII. Because of it, there's less content for the standard modes. A CoD BR would sacrifice half the standard content for multiplayer.
I think if they are gonna make a BR mode it would be a stand alone game. Call Of Duty: Battle Royal. I feel like they will hire another developer to work on this game while the others keep focus on theirs
while i disagree on BR being in a CoD title, this would be the best way to do it tbh. That, and the thought of a BR, along side all the other game features... in 1 download... the game file will be massive.
TheJTheorem honestly if they make a BR COD game they shouldn’t make a campaign or atleast make side missions but make 90% of the game BR I guarantee it would work then
bobman123googoo makes sense
bobman123googoo like instead of a remaster they make a br
They need to make their own unique game mode without stealing the Battle Royale concept and take back their players lost to Fortnite and Pubg.
Jake Sullivan They can keep whoever they took, COD is better off without that trash lol.
Please no. I want them to focus on making a good balanced game not hopping on the band wagon of BR games.
As long as it doesn't impact the game that Call of Duty/Treyarch is known for (Campaign, multiplayer, zombies), I do not understand why people are so against adding a new BR mode (that is incredibly popular and would bring a lot of players back to COD). It would only add value to the game, offering another game mode to play when the other modes get stale...
If they add a BR mode/game, you do not have to play it!!
Be more open to change!
Jazzin i would only accept it if they add it after b04 releases since I want all their resources to go into their core mode, servers and content. I don’t want br to take away content like the war mode took away maps from core mode.
Has anybody else noticed that as soon as Ace debunked the lie WWII is dead and after he stated there's zero proof sbmm is even in the game in 2018, all the trolls and troll channels started doubling down on their claims!!!
Now they're inventing new "issues" with WWII, probably because they have egg on their faces!!!
Now they claim the spawns in WWII are terrible (despite the abundance of data to the contrary, which proves they're the best in CoD history!)
They still claim quickscopers are crazy rampant (despite the evident decrease in quickscoping and the numerous sniper rifle nerfs!)
And now they're alledging the COD community hates WWII and nobody plays it! When the Shamrock & Awe event appears to be a rousing success and 5+ million people have played on ps4 this month alone! 😂
Please Ace, make a video about these trolls. It would be SO sweet!!!!
They just can't accept reality. I understand people dislike some games and like others, but I don't get what these trolls get out of it, or why their subs tolerate being lied to!
The haters are literally delusional at this point!!!!
Sam Bong i play this game everyday so im not a troll, but to say this game has the best spawns in any cod is absurd. Im a ffa only player and the spawns in that game mode is extremely trash
Last time I played was 2 weeks ago and I went on a tear with a Kar. The nerfs were a joke and the only reason why people stopped using sniper rifles was because they were kids and just the idea of having to put in a little effort for kills made them stop.
The game just is boring. Go play one of the older CoD games and you'll see how much this game sucks in comparison. It doesn't hold a candle to any of those multiplayer-wise and the campaign was a sad excuse of a WWII game. WaW and CoD 2 did far better and it's hilarious to see a game in 2017 get its ass handed to it by games that are 10+ yrs old.
please ace! validate my opinions! I need to confirm my previously established bias! but seriously, you're eating up sledgehammer game's PR damage control. they were saying some crap about how they only have one bad spawn for every ten thousand spawns or something ridiculous. play one game of Dom on US Texas and you will see one bad spawn for every 5 spawns. SBMM is another turd you're willing to swallow. look at the end game score in every match. always 73 to 75 in tdm. every player has a very similar kdr. you don't see this in something like blops3, at least it's very rare. in ww2 it's like this almost every single round. it's rare to see someone go ham or see one team get steamrolled. pro players were getting put in lobbies with other pro players. shg say no, ping is king. so why am I getting put in UK servers with every player on the other team having 2 bars? anecdotal? maybe. but even driftor paid the guy who had evidence for sbmm even though shg swears there is no such thing. use your critical thinking skills man.
Wow, you guys can't even read comments correctly. I said no sbmm in 2018. Not 2017.
I watched all the same videos you watched! I never said the spawns were perfect, but they are noticeably much better than previous cods And numerous players have tested the frequency of quickscope deaths! You guys didn't even read the comment or debunk anything, you gave outdated examples and opinions! You probably heard these things on troll channels right? Lol
I would assume it’s groundwar/freeforall/SND(single life). That would be a cool game mode for me.
John Gomez i think 2
I’m wrong but no just the no respawn. That’s what happens in battle royale style games from what I know. One life battle to the death.
How about a CoD BR. You spawn in with your loadout into a large map. Unlimited sprint normal health regen but only 1 life. You have red zones like pubg that destroy random areas and that's how the map shrinks instead of a circle. Scavenge weapons from kills. Last man standing wins
I think in bo4 drop the campaign and don’t bring back war mode and replace it with battle Royale
imagine this: a headquarters event where friendly fire is enabled, and weapons are hidden around. whoever survives longest wins.
These aren't pubg/fortnite players who are gonna be playing this.
It's the camping, sitting in a corner, drop shotting, trash cod players who will populate this mode. Plus, you die waay too fast in cod compared to BR games to make this a good mode, not to mention weapons in cod are somewhat balanced, meaning there are few guns that you *don't want* (grey weapons) and few that you *really want* (gold or purple weapons) compared to fortnite weapons.
You realize there are other BR games centered around fast TTK, right? PUBG, H1Z1, KOTK, Arma BR, etc. Most BR games focus around fast TTK's. CoD Online's BR has a slower TTK than the base game and has armor you can equip. Fortnite BR isn't the only BR game out there.
Yes, we’ll get the camping in corners jump shooters who panic build.
Fortnites weapon system is fucking horrendous. COD BR would be more comparable to a PUBG system, where its actually good. Idk why people are comparing a potential COD BR to Fortnite over PUBG...
James Burgess Haha! That theory is bullshit. Everyone that plays CoD is now playing Fortnite. So a large portion of those that are current Fortnite players came FROM CoD. You can't camp in one spot in BR games or you will die. They will play CoD BR the same way they play Fortnite and PUBG.
James Burgess so the remastered version of waw is best?
Bad idea oil & water don’t mix 😂 GG’s tho!! 😂
What BR in CoD is more of a tournament style game where you have a certain amount of lobbies of FFA and the top few move up the ladder until there is one lobby.
Doesn't sound anything like a BR mode. It just sounds like Old-School FFA from COD4 but with you having just one life. They should just bring back Old-School FFA in WW2.
This is ur amazing comeback from last night!!!
Oh wait never mind you full on said it a second after I posted
I think a stand alone cod br game would b sick. Same mechanics as a normal cod game but on a large map
Swe3tdre4mz Gaming That'd be AIDS because of the hitscan weapons CoD has and especially the large one-shot kill area the snipers have in WWII in tandem with hitscan. Cross-mapping with the LMGs would also be annoying.
Personally, i don't really care. Might try it once or twice.
I always look at blizzard job applications just to see whats open (maybe I could work there one day) and I came across several job positions for an unannounced project. Now, in the website for blizzard, all the jobs are categorized by game. For example say a year ago blizzard needed some animators for battle for azeroth, they'd list it as "world of War craft animator for unannounced project". These positions were in its own category, and even seeking vehicle specialists for a game, which only makes me think it could be a BR game. Also seeing how Activision owns blizzard, there could be a tie in with all this somehow.
The reason why headquarters lags is because all players are being rendered at the same time always. They do not appear like in fortnite or pubg, those games have draw distances, hq does not.
I'm down with your vision of a BR mode - sounds like alot of fun actually.
Love this channel watch every upload
Hate to say it but having different modes won't reduce the overall FPS of the game. That's just not how programming works. The FPS is affected by what the console is doing at that exact moment in time. The fact that you have loads of options for quitting the game and running a number of different modes if you choose will not affect the FPS of any game your currently in.
The map size and player count will have a direct correlation to frame rate unless considerable changes were made to the cod engine as will the server load. I’m not saying other modes won’t perform, I’m fasting a full fledged br mode wouldn’t with a current cod engine on console would.
Ah cool thanks for responding! I'm not sure it's quite as simple as that. The primary bottleneck for FPS is the rendering of the 3D world represented into 2D dynamically based on where your viewport is at any point in time. If you were able to physically see the entire map from a location then your FPS at that location say, would likely be rubbish. Massive open would games would have permanently bad frame rates if map size was a consideration, even cod story modes would have issues if this was the case. I'm just not convinced that performance would be an issue in this case :p
Oh forgot to mention, player count will again have FPS ramifications if they are all on screen and shouldn't really affect it otherwise unless the game has managed to get itself CPU bound
I think that if BO4 has a Battle Royale mode that it could work for a submode in Zombies. Zombies already is a complete departure from traditional CoD and it gives Treyarch leeway to add silly things and power-ups, as well as it making sense in the theme of surviving.
lmao i watched this game live, disgusting.
also, do *not* want BR, in any Call of Duty title. I wish people would stop trying to mix game genres over nothing but hype. Hype kills games faster than anything.
TheJTheorem the launch of ww2 is described by your last sentence
i fully agree. shipment is the only thing making it fun for me atm.
TheJTheorem shipments hella fun though so many guad feeds 😍
its great for the scorestreak challenges too
TheJTheorem you can play whatever modes you choose. I’m not saying I like the mode but other people might. If you don’t want to play it don’t shoot it down, just don’t fucking play the mode. The game isn’t going to be exactly the way you want it fucking dumbshit
I don't Know why but people think that they Will be forced to play battle royal if it's in the game you don't have to play it play the modes that you like if it's TDM or what ever
gabriel denny but br will take away content from cod b04 like how war forced sledgehammer to make fewer maps for core multiplayer
ZombieZlayer99 I know we need to tell them we don't need it
I know that does not happen but they could replace Zombies. I mean with MW4 from IW...
I personally would like to see a battle royale or Hunger Games game mode. I've tried to make private game modes back in the day but you can't get it to work. One Life per round, 3 Rounds.
I highly doubt Treyarch can pull this off. But for Infinity Ward, they recently started a new branch in Poland so I feel like they are definitely gonna revamp the COD or the engine of COD so that they can add more stuff in the game without having any side-effects.
Is BR going to be the next innovation that becomes the next oversaturation?
Back on the 6th gen it was WWII settings, on 7th gen it was the modern settings and in the early stages it was the futuristic settings.
There's already a Battle Royale mode for Call of Duty: Online, developed by Raven Software, released currently in China. It's doubtful Activision will just leave money on the table if a lucrative Battle Royale mode could make them money (let alone already already exists, developed by one of their partner developers). Most likely they will create or release it as part of a later Call of Duty game, not part of WWII.
Most people they gonna be able to put on a map is 20, it could be the size of some of the larger ghosts maps, and it could run at like 30 frames
Unless I'm going insane, which is totally plausible - The M1 Garand and other rifles have sway now, and it sucks having to use scoped all the time. Don't know if this way covered in the recent patch...
You came to my conclusion towards the end of the video... an Activision BR game either needs to be a new IP or a stand alone Call of Duty: Battle Royale game. I really don't think the fast paced CoD gameplay suits a battle royale mode.
They should capitalize on the hype train all they want, but don't change CoD for the sake of it. Despite all the grumblings, too many people like the game the way it is.
CoD Online BR actually plays really well. But yes, I think Activision should just make its own IP for a BR game.
There is a battle royal game called Darwin Project with 9v1 on a realitive small map. CoD has a ton of weapons and attachment what you can loot.
Thexclusiveace did you notice that shipment 1944 is actually right outside the headquarters when you play on the map look you can see the headquarters to the left
They wouldn’t have to sacrifice anything. They have plenty of time to make a full cod game. The only question is whether or not the engine could handle it.
It'll need a massive map and they could rework the paratroopers mechanics so players can deploy by parachute with pickups like the cod online is like but it won't be as good but would be an alright party mode like prop Hunt and gun game, we need more party game modes, but would like it more if cod Devs actually used some creativity to try and test new modes
take a shot everytime he says " full fledged"
I wish they could fix the lag compensation problem first before trying to add content.
Unless Black ops 4 knew they wanted BR at least a year or two ago, then they won't have it at launch working well
Thexclusiveace I have a prediction and I think it's totally possible and doable multiplayer with a core mode hardcore mode then a jetpack core and Jetpack hardcore mode. You'll be able to play with jetpacks or without jetpacks
They should do it with 30 players on the war maps, maybe widen the maps a small bit too, operation breakout would be incredible for a br mode!
Well, tbh some of the really big maps from world at war (the ones that had tanks) could work as a BR map if ported, maybe for say, 20 players? Most of those maps were way too big, even with the tanks included, so more players would make them usable maps again.
The developers shouldn't waste their time or energy on a Battle Royale version of CoD. CoD is about fast paced engagements in games that last about 10 minutes. A Battle Royal party mode, however, would be acceptable as that would be like playing Gun Game, but with a limited number of lives.
I'd prefer to have them focus on making the game's infrastructure work effectively, and efficiently, instead of pursuing game mode mimicry. Solid netcode that would work across the franchise, and a servers-only stratagem, would get my vote every time over slotting in the core aspects from other games.
Unless Black ops 4 knew they wanted BR at least a year or two ago, and made up their mind right then and there what they were going to sacrifice to make BR viable, then there isn't going to be BR in BO4 the way we think of BR
If anything the war mode should be expanded upon. It's a fun mode to play and a nice change to the typical COD formula.
Get ur marshmallows and sleeping bags boys...camping heaven.
Question: Do you think COD would ever consider releasing a multiplayer only game? Something similar to Fortnite's battle pass and overall layout of in-game purchases while consistently providing DLC content?
A game directed at gamers who just play multiplayer.
There is already a BR mode in CoD Online so they could reuse that and put that into this game. And since Raven works both on Online and WW2 so that could help. From what I saw from MarleyThirteen it was actually not that bad so I am interested in seeing it for CoDWW2 or BO4
Maybe a BR mode will be a seperate game but bundled with Bo4 like how MWR was bundled with IW, hmmmm
No cod needs to stay away from BR honestly I would love to see bo4 have a third person playlist like mw2 did I don't know why but I really enjoyed playing cod in third person me personally would like that instead of a BR
A new ip over an add on would be best imo
Just make a ground war free for all with about 2-5 maps to rotate from and the cap is like 20 maybe 30 players at the most and there you go
The update hinted a Domination XL. So yeah
Devilzzz4 This Thursday/Friday.
Not a smart idea to do a full fledged BR mode within COD. However, wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd person shooter type mode (with smaller style maps, deceasing map size effect and picking up supplies/loot) within the game. Getting their feet wet without jumping in, so the speak. :)
CoD needs to stay in their lane and stick to the fanbase they've been trying to be in for over 10 years now. The last thing they need to worry about is adding an entirely different mode when their game itself still needs so much work. They need to focus on their Call of Duty fanbase and making us happy, not looking to grasp at straws for players.
It is a 100% absolutely guaranteed given that the next CoD will have a Battle Royale mode of some sort, (limited as you said). I would eat my hat if it didn't.
It would be good enough with large team deathmatch option
This man deserves more subs!
I think a BR COD game will be something different but definitely keep it as a standalone game.
The stream was soooo good last night
If anything, I think they should have a BR mode with 48 players. It wouldn’t be a full fledge BR mode like PUBG or Fortnite, but 48 people on a large map would be a decent middle ground. Halve the size of Fortnite’s map and maybe not one map but two or three. With the One X and PS4 Pro I can see something like that working as long as it is separated from the main game. Possibly a 4th game mode outside the trifecta. Load up BR mode and have it running on a different set of servers than the regular multiplayer servers.
Side Note: I don’t think it would suit Treyarc to make a BR mode. If any studio could pull it off, it would be IW. They had a fun Zombies experience and I wouldn’t want to see it go, but I’d sacrifice IW Zombies for BR. Hell, I can see ATVI doubling down resources to one of the dev companies to acquire new talent just for a BR mode. At least to get a framework for such a mode as a model for the next couple games.
It would be good if they added a co-op campaign
Plus don’t forget, BR is a fad bubble and will burst soon. PUBG has been losing a lot of players the past couple months, despite reaching a download milestone. Toss a BR mode into a major CoD title, and you alienate a lot of the player base, in an already heavily divided community
Call of Duty Online already has a Battle Royale mode and it's actually pretty fun
You can probably earn tickets from supply drops to play battle royale
Your idea of battle royale in ww2 seems like something cod could pull off
Unless they massively changed gunplay I don't think I'd like it. Guns kill way too damn fast in COD for a BR game to feel good. In PUBG and Fortnite you have a chance to react to being shot but in COD the skill gap is so minimized that anyone can just get a kill.
The first call of duty games were like that. Could drive cars too
I'd rather they go with more of a MAG approach and just have a few really large wars, though I would have it stick more to the type of objectives that COD already has in the war mode. Like 32 v 32 where it starts with two 16 v 16 setups or four 8 v 8 setups that converge to a central point at the end.
I would in no way expect or even want them to take on the 128 v 128 that MAG had. I don't think COD's servers could handle it.
It’s impossible Battle Royale would require dedicated servers and WWII doesn’t have them
This is false. CoD WW2 runs almost entirely on Dedicated Servers.
They won't bring Battle Royale to WW2 since they won't even add Ground War.
Can't see how this is possible, maps are too small
I won't mind getting rid of story mode for BR.
Ace, what if they opened all 3 or 4 maps from the war modes. In other words, all parts of griffin open or all objectives in breakout open and spawn in anywhere. Takes care of map size I think no??
Not sure if I explained that correctly lol. I mean open up the entire griffin mode as 1 map for a battle Royale.
Well this Is far from what you expected.
It's not what they can do it's what they have to do to get the players back
A Call of Duty: Battle Royale game that is separate from Black Ops 4 would be great. Much like how they released IW with MW Remastered.
We already have a battle royal mode - its called Search and Destroy
People who think fortnite is taking all of the cod fans, your terribly wrong.. everyone is going to get bored of fortnite purely because its repetitive. The only thing that fortnite might hold is a pro league. Like pubg etc. And that will slowly push cod fans back towards cod. Real cod fanboys and fan girls will never stop playing cod.
FloNebula yeah its peaking now but it'll go down like everything else. By the time it gets out of early access no one is gonna be playing it
Richard Cunningham yeah 100% people only play because its free, when it starts costing £50 to buy it no one will
What if Battlefield had a BR mode? They already have servers with alot of people on these huge maps; wouldnt it be cool to have a BR mode on this extra-huge map?
Dude you are almost at 300K
I'd prefer it if they spent their time updating their engine, and netcode, and game mechanics, and graphics, and audio, etcetera, etcetera . COD has been showing it's age for a while now. A full priced game, that feels like a 10 year old game, that they've added loot boxes to, and also has a season pass in 2018 is a bit much. Maybe Activision should be less worried about BR games and more worried about consumer apathy due to them not investing in the improvement of their franchises and just continuing to beat a dead horse.
What if they do the BR mode on the War maps. Still don’t know how that’ll end up working out.
That lobby has horrendous ping issues !!!
Why would they have to reduce the performance of zombies and/or campaign? The modes do not run simultaneously, and therefore do not require memory or processor resources when they are not running. When you switch from one to another, the game has to load whatever mode you are about to play. Is your concern the game's overall permanent storage requirements, for example, if they couldn't fit all the game assets on one BluRay disc? If that was the case, they could either release the game on two discs (standard COD stuff on one disc and BR on the other), or have the BR as a separate download that would load from the console's drive.
I am not trying to be critical of your logic, you definitely make fair points. However, I am a software dev, so I do speak from some experience. I think a fairly full-fledged BR mode is possible with CoD's current engine without having to downgrade the game's performance. It's just a matter of whether or not SHG will put in the time to make it happen. All it would take is one very large map, perhaps the size of two war mode maps combined or the headquarters map aka "The Grounds", which is enormous and can connect roughly 50 players simultaneously.
For all we know, aside from being a "social space" and platform for microtransactions, headquarters may exist in part, as a testbed for larger scale modes, a way to work out the kinks of having a much higher number of connected players interacting on the same map. They could literally turn the headquarters into a BR mode without too much difficulty if they opened up more of "The Grounds" map and enabled weapon usage. Could they pull off 100 players connecting simultaneously, I'm not sure. However, we know for a fact WWII can connect 40-50 players, HQ proves that possibility, and there is little, if any, sacrifice of graphics quality in a fully populated HQ.
In fact, when I think about it, the HQ manages to pull off an impressive number of sub-modes simultaneously without need for loading screens or waiting on new assets. The firing range, the quartermaster, orders, prestige options, the AA guns, mail, supply drops, 1v1 pit, etc. are all loaded into memory before you enter the HQ. You don't have any wait times before performing any of those individual functions. The HQ is actually fairly impressive when you consider everything that is running concurrently. If SHG wanted to test that map, or another like it, for battle royale, they would actually have resources to spare, since a BR would not require running all that extraneous functionality.
TL;DR: I believe COD WWII is more than capable of pulling off a BR mode from a technical standpoint, now let's wait and see if SHG decides to do it.
can't wait
At least they don't need to make a new map
.

.
They have Gustav canon
They are trying so hard to get more players xD the game mode will only be fun if they are on the war maps since there is a lot of space.
If they could extend the HQ like pubg has those big buildings hiding places it would be perfect becuse the hq already has hills so I hope its real..
i would love to have some battle royale even on one map..
If they do add it hopefully it's just an added game mode on the side so people can take it or leave it. People play COD because it's COD an FPS just the way it's been for years. There's a reason it's been the number one selling game for years so leave it alone.
What if they take zombies out because it's been so outplayed over the last years and replace it with br
