Did you see the beautiful deadfall timber that could have been selectively harvested and opened the ground for natural regeneration? If in CalifornIa, it is my understanding a separation tax is paid in advance; this policy promotes clear cuts or making a selective, uneven age forest uneconomic.

    Those technical rocky trails,
I recommend elbow and knee pads.
Tip: keep up momentum on the uphill,
    Keep pumping,
weight off the handlebars, don't be so cautious,
    much less likely to fall.
    Great heart exercise!

Full suspension, 29" wheels, high ground clearance, superlight, 12-speed, mid-power pedal assist. Why do you need all this? I think you answered all these questions😄 If one wants some solitude, adventure and exercise go ride single track trails deep into the woods and mountains. I did it all summer on a Class 1 and I'm 65😁

Wow, kudo's to you and John forgetting out there. I'm the same age and also taking into consideration my limitations. Better to get out there and participate then go gonzo and get hurt. Takes too long to heal as we get older. So, cool the family generational outing and your comment about a bit of role reversal on who is looking out for who, spot on. Between your Tahoe area videos and Owen and Lynn's NewFoundland videos we have been entertained and thrilled with future spots to visit.

Congrats, I hope I’m still riding at 69! Incidentally you get an extra pat on the back you were all riding at over 7500 ft to boot!
Also that isn’t an e-bike sanctioned trail, they need to start welcoming e-bikes IMO it gives access to our federal, state and local lands but with the crazy California politics I’m not holding my breath.
