Vecessa is worst character because she has only has 2... maybe 3 builds that are effective. those being flashy reload throwing knives+repeater combo and the Pupperfish. I think the build that people aren't abusing with vecessa is tropical island regen slow. Clamera+tight ropes with trophical island can make you stack a lot of health regeneration and most builds that aren't infinity scaling damage get outpaced by health regeneration. 500 health regen fatique vecessa is a silly strategy but it somewhat works.
@@dodang_9147there are more good builds on Vanessa. Port ammo is good and sometimes insane. Aquatic builds with harpoon can crush many of the builds and even this build by destroying the small items. Then there is the single weapon builds that work quite well if you have the right skills. Then there is the cannon build. Then there is burn. Haste shark and many more.

But really, in a game that doesn’t want you to sustain ranked play with average ranked runs, but rather pay money to play, are we shocked the free character is the worst?
I mean Bees were still better before. If you got a beehive by day 3 and went full wide with bees you literally couldn't lose to anything but weaponless poison vanessa and even that could be outscaled with the old Pyg economy.

On the beehive, straight up, that was the text. The effect was changed to "When an opponent uses any item, use one of your bees." Not a nerf, not a bug fix.

How does upgrading items work? Does it apply a specific multiplier or flat increase to the items damage/heal/shield/burn/etc., or is it more complicated than that? It seems like some items also have their special effects and/or cds improved but its hard to tell without playing myself.
Each item has set effects at every upgrade tier. As the name would imply, they're always direct upgrades, but the specifics can vary. For example, the Atlatl just gets more damage with each tier, but the Crook will increase the damage it gives per medium item, instead.
On Level 15 you always get offered an enchantment effect as a level up reward. If hammer is enchanted with for example fire enchantment than it apparently applies that fire enchantment to the items it upgrades with it's effect.
Lethargy inceased all of his CD:s why would he pick that? Ganjo went from 4sec -> 5.2sec,and i know yoyo doesnt matter that much but it went from 8sec -> 10,4sec etc. probably read it wrong i would assume or is there a reason to increase cooldowns in this build or anybuild for that matter?
Increases cooldown of the enemy as well. Since he had a really high dmg atlatl (which will stay at 1 second cd with sufficient high attack since it is capped at 1 second but can counteract the 30% increase cd by going over 180 attack). Yoyo and bee trigger regardless of cd. This mostly just slows the enemy from killing him as fast.
Vanessa feels so bad to play now compared to the other two. I can put random items on the board and get 7 wins as pyg. But the game is designed so you don’t sustain ranked play with average ranked runs, meaning they designed it so players would need to pay for ranked runs if they play more than twice a day (average). So are we shocked the free character is the weakest now? Tone down the greed, tempo. You should WANT people to be playing ranked, not actively keep it behind 10 win runs and credit cards. I expect more from people who play games- this is something blizzard or EA would do.
The bees being too good are just a symptom of the real issue in Crook still being too strong. Bee, yoyo, and Atlatyl would all be much worse given a proper nerf to Crook

The idea of building a hive long term is good, they should just find another trigger for the attack and give an incentive to play multiple bees

It's actually plus 30% and I learned, that it's really useful VS any burst combo

Forgot the build recap before final boss. What was it with the bees exactly? And why was the Loupe important but never used?
Loupe makes your small items sell for more, so for example his spare change would sell for 4 instead of 1.

I did a full bee build once. I got butchered by a haste/poison Vanessa with no weapons.
