Thank you so much for the detailed video with clear, detailed instructions. As others have written, it made most of this a breeze. As of time of writing, getting the tome from Auction House was just over 3000 gold on my server, if that helps anyone contextualize the grinding versus paying path. Some tips on the maze as of Dragonflight 10.2.5: - Dismiss pet, as mentioned in video; if you're Demonology spec, be sure you DO NOT have the 'Inner Demons' talent (passively summons imps every 12 seconds). They trigger the barriers in the maze, and they will continue to summon. - The Eye of Kilrogg will provide you with about 1 second of visibility for the maze walls. - Take off any armor that has durability (there is also an anvil to repair at the end of the maze and the entrance to this instance after entering the gate), just in case you die some needless imp deaths, like me. - It *seems* like Demonic Gateway does not trigger the barriers, but I didn't test this thoroughly. - If in doubt about your first steps into the maze, set a Demonic Circle. If ghosts come to get you, teleport back and make a run for it! Thanks again for your help, Haughty Chicken!

Quick shout out abut the first demons part. you don't actually have to summon all your demons but you can.. the ones you need are ether A: Observer - he is a smart *** and knows both the language and purpose of the book, he answers it all without other demons needed B: Succubus OR felguard (wraith guard also works, not sure about incubus) - these both can tell you the language. your Void walker can tell you the purpose of the book. imp knows nothing and felhunter just tilts his head at you (not surprised, its like asking your dog to find your bank card xD). if you like lore and fluff I recommend you summon them all anyway as its not often we get to interact with our demons I only suggest this for anyone who is trying to do this as quickly as possible and save time ^^
Was able to do this easily. Turn off chromie time, be at a relatively decent level, and you can skip pretty much anything the final boss does. 40 mins to 1 hour of your time and you're firing off green fire!
My server is pretty populated, but after a few hours of running the spots and killing a couple of the rares, it dropped for me. Also, be nice and use a Curse to tag the mobs rather than 1shotting them in front of someones nose, I cooperated with another Lock and we both used a curse on the rares and then one killed it. Always gives you a drop despite not having dealt damage. And the more Locks do it, the less populated the area has to be in general :)
Nice! That part using the eye damn done my head in ....just make sure no pets are with you else they trigger the traps , Also use demonic gateway when close :)
Demonic gateway can alo be used for the maze part, but it takes more time, since you can only use it once 1.5 or 2 minutes. I missed this thing when it was current content, the title too, which is why i'm kind of jealous on my husband because he has it 😆
If your quest glitches out after you talk to your demons and will not show the next step. Delete all other quests so you have only the one. Exit game and log back in. It should pop up automatically like it did for me just now.
thought i would post this here if your quest bugs and is not in your log try to reload and if it doesnt work go into the black temple raid entrance and once you come back out head to the door and the rune should be on it this is the second time this quest bugged for me, just wanted the coords for the stone

man when this first came out... i was told its impossible to get this with pvp gear as the only person in my server to get it week 1 was the heroic raider in the best guild This thing was so new there was no guide or anything on how to deal with the boss... i had to use that potion to remove the doom debuff Figuring out the fel guards was a bitch.. anyway it required me to do this fight perfectly for 14 minutes. I was #2 in server to get greenfire quest.. with pvp gear and 48hours of attempts later with 40k worth of repairs i did it all i did was spam rain of fire in org for like 3 weeks after that
i was so upset to find out the same expansion later on people where able to just roll this boss they should have made the gear scale down.. hands down one of the best most rewarding experience of my time in wow
i remember getting this with a frankenset of underpowered pve gear, my warlock was normally set up for pvp. It took me like 2 weeks. I probably could have spent more time getting better gear first lol. Came with a cool title tho, "of the Black Harvest"
If you are playing demo warlock and have Inner Demons talen, just replace it with something else that doesn't spawn anything. It makes it impossible to complete the maze

For a second there I thought you would complete the shrine of souls just by moving your eye through it and you could just walk through. I was like OMG i've don this quest 3 times and this whole time i've been walking just a lil summon the eye movie and then summon again lmao.
So I’m in orgrimmar to turn in the reader of the dead tongue quest to my warlock trainer. The quest is showing he’s kind of in the middle of the map but I don’t see him where to w question mark is. I can however talk to a guard and shows me where another trainer is but I can’t turn the quest in to him
Level 35 but the last boss is absolutely nails. I just tried it. Next to impossible i think as you dont have teleport or gateway. I even had the pitlord under. My control but to no avail
Doing this quest right now on my 39 warlock TWINK who is geared to the max and the closest I got in 10 attempts was 43% but the wipes were my mistakes not the bosses strengths, since you dont get port until level 41 I wouldnt recommend doing it before this level but if you are a player who wants to twink a lower level character (35-39) you'll need to make some talent adjustments and make some macros for the pitlords abilities
Every single time i get to the end of that invisible maze the ghosts pop out and kill me even at dragonflight ilvl's and i have to start all the way back and the very begining of BT, so damn frustrating im about to say screw it!
Since the level squish, 35, it corresponds to the old cata and mop levels of 85 and 90. The title is no longer available if you didn't do the quest chain back in Pandaria.
trying to do this on a lvl 37. when i get to stage four with the eye. even if i dont go into the blue traps, i get spammed with the ghost mobs? anyone have any idea? Ive even used the eye to make sure im not going into them but they still spam spawn?

Subjugate Pit Lord, id recommend Destro spec talented correctly and nuke him down before he can spawn the imps, and turn off chromie time when ur doing the scenario

An unusual tome quest will not work if you were in a group! leave the group then talk to your demons, this is a bug.

@@ThePict I had like 15 attempts on that and every time the boss still had above 90% hp it was insane.
