Fun fact: Dana was born in 1986 and this was her debut in 2001, so she was only 14-15 and sounded like that
i knew it she literally looked 14
It's a shame there weren't more performances from her. This was an era when SM was producing young single female popstars (e.g. BoA, Jang Nara) but there was a lot of instability inside the company which may have led to a shorter career lifespan for her than it could have been otherwise. Sooman was clever to gear BoA towards Japan early in her career which is how she really took off unlike Dana who was sent to China.

보아도 한국에서는 초반에 인기 생각보다 없다가 일본가서 성공한 후 그걸로 좀 덕본거로 기억. 다나는 그래도 다나만의 감성 있었는데. 뭔가 연기쪽으로도 가니까 음악이냐 연기냐 애매해진 듯.

어머나 완전 아가 시절이네요!! 이노래 좋아했었는데!!! ㅎㅎ 지금들으니 약간 브리트니스피어스 노래 같은 느낌이고 역시 좋아요
DANA FROM "THE GRACE" The only SM girl group that never got famous...Dana announced that, after 19 years with SM Entertainment, she would leave the company on January 19, 2021.
The Grace was not famous as SNSD, f(x), Red Velvet, aespa, but was popular in Korea too. They have got 1st win also. There were only two girl groups from SM with SinB, Milk - not succesful rather than The Grace. They just released only one album of each and disbanded.

Dana, MILK and Shinvi were all from subsidiaries. Dana's first album was released under Shining Entertainment, a subsidiary of SM, but she moved labels and released her 2nd album under SM. MILK debuted under BM Entertainment, which was another subsidiary of SM. Shinvi's label was Cid.K but the album production and distribution were done under SM.

이때 내가 고딩 2학년때인데.. 희한하게 보아나 다나나 별 관심이 없었음.
내 여동생이랑 동갑이라 그런지 당시 여동생을 무지 싫어했던 나는 여동생이랑 동갑이란 이유만으로 여동생 생각나서 꼴보기 싫어했었는데 ㅋㅋ
그리고 내 여동생이랑 묘하게 좀 닮았었음.

Dana will always be my favourite and bias forever. ❤ My first Kpop album and biggest treasure to this day. I love that this has been remastered but at the same time, I think SM has some nerve to remaster this AFTER what they did to her. Never giving her the time, recognition and investment she deserved. Her passion still continued for 19 years till they terminated her contract after let's face it. The treatment she, CSJH The Grace were given essentially destroying their careers and Dana's mental health deteriorated as a result, she breaks down and now she is gone from the company and industry. AFTER this, they decide to remaster this amazing debut track with it evident with all the positive comments and interest as to who she is and her talent and potential when it's already too late. 😢❤💔 X Hope she is doing well x

With proper promotion, Dana could have been one of SM's best soloist. She was so TALENTED. They used to overlook her in the past but I'm glad she's part of their Remastering Project and can finally get the recognition she deserved.

A Dana no le dieron la misma promoción que BoA, así que la debutaron de nuevo pero en un grupo (CSJH The Grace) en 2005, la verdad no sé que le pasó a SM pero ese grupo tenía MUCHO potencial para ser exitoso pero igual "fracasó". El grupo nunca se disolvió pero 3 de las 4 integrantes se salieron de SM (incluída Dana) ella salió en 2020 tras estar más de 19 años en esa empresa, ahora Dana está fuera del medio artístico, su instagram lo tiene en privado, no sabemos muy bien de su vida.

브리트니 스피어스 초기 음악이랑 비슷한 부분도 많고 그 시대 기준으로 되게 세련된 곡인데 생각보다 반응이 심심했던 게 의아한 곡 🧐 뮤비는 처음 보는데 예쁘네요
이런곡들은 섹시컨셉의 육감적인 가수가 퍼포먼스 했다면 반응이 더 뜨거울텐데, 정작 가수는 청순형에 어울려서 밸런스가 안맞아서 반응이 그럴거예요. 스타일링이라도 강렬하게 했으면 좋았는데 뮤비에서 조차 순수메이크업에 춤이 단조롭고 😂 sm초기에는 실패작들이 좀 있죠.
진짜 다나는 시대를 못타고난 가수임..

다나는 내 기준에서 정말 완벽한 10대 중학생 여가수? 소녀가수에 적합한 인물이었다고 생각함, 보아와는 다른 느낌이었고 부담스럽지 않은 수수한 자연미인 얼굴에 허스키 보이스도 굉장히 매력적으로 느껴졌었다. 1집 앨범 전곡이 진짜 좋아서 지금도 종종 찾아들음 개인적으로 2집이 아쉬웠고, 그때 에스엠 사정상 천상지희를 했어야 겠지만 좀 더 여유롭게 솔로 앨범을 이어나갔다면 그래도 지금보다는 충분히 많은걸 보여주고 얻을수 있었지 않을까 생각한다.
바다 -린아-다나-태연-루나-웬디-윈터 라고 생각함 스엠 역대 여자보컬 라인은 다나도 노래 참 잘한다.

Dana along with CSJH are one of SM's precious gems. Sad that only Sunday & Lina remained in SM, yet all of them can do much more. Dana is so tall and pretty like a model yet so talented.
She went through a lot of mental challenges I did not realize in the 2010’s. i can’t find the episodes anymore, used to be on SM’s channels.
