I think the track where there is a very clear winner is the GTA pause music 'greyhound' at 4:03, it captures this feeling of anticipation of the unpredictable future so well to me at least. in the end, GTA built upon tangerine dreams tracks hence there's no such thing as a winner, they've both worked together for us to experience such beautiful tracks.
It's cool to see these differences, so many great tracks too, if only we got Mission Possible, the final version is good too tho, same for No Happy Endings
I appreciate a lot this video and it should get more views, GTA5 score is very good and unique, very 80s thanks to this amazing band. But where I really enjoyed this vid is that you put Thief soundtrack too and I find it amazing that they used some of it to make this score. I was hoping to have TD in GTA6 but without Edgar, I doubt. What a shame, RIP Edgar.

i think both the original and the mixes ones are good anything goes well with tangerine dream style
The tangerine dreams original mix sounded little bit wet and deep Gta 5 original score little bit dry and saturated.

Tangerine Dream also remixed The Dangerous Mile/Kill Michael music for the album Quantum Gate, and the music is called Genesis of Precious Thoughts.
