If I could go back an attend a Rallizes show live, I'd probably weep uncontrollably front start to finish. They can be as violent and furious as a wildfire for one song and then as gentle and delicate as a flower the next. You can even slow dance to this rendition of Enter The Mirror with someone, like a displaced timeless mix of 50's American doo-wop meets shoegaze and loner bedroom lofi... I wonder if Mizutani ever got to see some couple or some random person dance to his music as he played and what that must've made him felt. For all the volume and rage this band is known for, there's so much soul and beauty there too. I hope he knew how much his music meant to us and that it's appreciated and loved, even more today than before.
