Energy in Clapton? - You must be joking? - He is at sleep while he is playing on his backbone....
Great to see Eric back on the stage again. Rock on sir!
Knowing about Eric Clapton, in highschool, made me popular with the big kids. They all played. I'm still hoping to figure it all out.
I remain inspired by the no nonsense and his remarkable sounds. He's also been the king of cool for most of my life.
I like this lineup the best, too!
They are all simply remarkable!
I still feel like I am hanging out with the big kids.
It's feels wonderful...

461 Ocean Blvd was an important album in my high school years.. much needed.. 🙏🏼 gheezus.. I just read the full description of this 2022 band.. Chris Stainton, of course he was in Joe Cocker’s 1969 ‘With a little Help From my Friends’ debut album, wow!
Hey there David. Chris Staunton has always been a great Piano/Organ player. And he is a player for hire. Instead of Steve Winwood. Greetings from Amsterdam.
I think Boulevard is one of his best Records. He got sober before, and you can hear that....
Maestro del blues rock
wonderful. a pleasure for the soul
He's playing and singing better on this current tour than he has in about 7 or 8 years now.
Couldn’t agree more
Großartig gefilmt, Ehre wem Ehre gebührt!

Wow , when was the last time he played worried life blues ? 1992 ?
On "Just one Night" 1980 you can find it. Don't know if there was an earlier disc - I don't think so.

@@laurenthayem9186 He was , He is and always will be. 100 years from now guitar players will be discovering his music and basing their entire styles on his patterns. Statues will be erected in his honor. And his black Stratocaster will be placed in the Smithsonian institute after he has passed. One of five of the heavy guitar players of Mount Olympus. 🙋
Great Stuff
Every Time I see Nathan East, he reminds me of Denzel Washington... 😉
On what planet does he look like Denzel Washington...?

What guitar is Doyle bramhall playing?
Not sure… headstock and pickguard look different. Also, is it a righthand guitar upside down, strings and all (that is, bass strings below treble?) he strums upward a lot, makes me think it could be strung that way. Did Hendrix bass strings uppermost (ie the usual way a guitar is strung)?
@@nckwlch yes I think read.that
I don't know, but his harmonica is sounding really good too Really fits with.the.way Eric's playing right now x

Whos in Hammond piano??
Paul Carrack - Hammond B-3 - Chris Stainton - piano
Soooo good. The only thing efter waited 3 years to see you and a long traveling, booking hotel, the telling that our tickets för €780 was not guilty. After one hours wating we hade to buy new tickets for€300 too see you. And we still hade bot got any money back. Ticketmaster this was the last time I bourght antingen from you. I hve sen you 7 Times mostley in Sweden . You are best.
The sound of the video is really bad......
👉🫱❤️🩹💔🙏✝️🙏❤️💖🌎🇺🇸🇺🇦💭🌻🎗🌻🌼🍀😆👋👍✌️🫱👉👉
The image is also unprofessional. But that would be nothing if the sound was good. It's like singing in the living room.
Re-edit and remove black line!!!
‘How long’ … isley brothers anyone? (good though)
wrong - On Hammond organ & singing is Paul Carrack who had the hit "How Long" with his 1st band Ace.
Before Paul Carack played with Squeeze, “How long” was with a huge radio hit with his old band from the mid 1970’s, Ace. An already excellent tune that is taken to a whole new level with Eric’ guitar solos throughout. Just fantastic! 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Sure - I meant the overall sound on this one being reminiscent of the Isleys. It’s a great song and yes, I didn’t know the original artist, Ace, so thanks for that.
Bryknij się chłopie do Marka Knopflera i zapytaj, jak się nagrywa muzykę koncertową ... bo uszy więdną, jak porządnie nie słychać ani góry ani dołu
Trzeba słuchać nie patrzeć
Absolutely disastrous sound. You must redo the work
fed up with clapton !
Don't torture you'self
Don't watch then
Sonny emory is an amazing drummer. He is getting mesmerized into the band as time goes by. He is good at playing fusion jazz stuffs but relatively Eric's music sound monotonous and simple that makes sometimes drummers difficult to deal with it.
Monotonus and simple.. mkay..
I don't like this band
Big Clapton fan here but really disappointed in this performance. Does he ever sound rusty. I've played rock since 1969, four years as a pro. Got sick of band drama and quit playing out. Clapton appears rusty. I took 12 years off playing guitar and when I picked it up again I hated myself for at least six months! Rust never sleeps!
The entire band is very loose and the backup singers are frequently off pitch (bad monitoring maybe). On one tune there is a change in pattern. The drummer was one beat early, he covered it well though. I don't know how much they rehearsed but it couldn't been much. Even my bar band was tighter back in the day, We rehearsed a lot. We had to as we covered Cream and other Clapton songs in our rep, as well as Eagles, CSN&Y, Zep, Chicago and had, give or take, a sixty song rep and cycled in new covers at least twice a month.
The band wasn't having fun and appeared board to tears. Maybe they realized how bad it sounded. However if you are not enjoying the gig you are playing, you can at least pretend for the fans that you are.
But every band has a bad gig once in awhile. Maybe this was it?
-dave
I have to agree. There didn’t seem to be a lot of enthusiasm going on that night. I have seen Clapton quite a few times and it’s always been a “hit or miss”. Same as Jeff Beck.
I know the music is good, and was great when it first came out, but watching Clapton is exciting as watching a door knob. Boring …
Thank you, what do you mean?
Acoustic Layla is the most boring thing on earth. Snoozer. He's wasting the talents of Doyle Bramhall II who was on the previous tours doing the electric version with him.
Apparently E. Clapton hates his job. Only playing for his money. No smile or entusiasm while he is playing.
Maybe he should just stay in UK in his castle and enjoy his many cars - and the rest of his life.....
You are so wrong, he has been very anxious to play live since the beginning of the pandemic, because he isn't sure how much longer he can physically do what he loves. He doesn't need any money, he is worth over $300,000,000.00. He loves his job, but he is almost 80, and can't do everything he used to do. I wish I could play as well as he does even now.I for one am thankful for any performance from the greatest Blues/Rock guitarist ever.
@@mikekaylor1226 Do you know him?......He seems arrogant to me. But he sure plays a fine guitar. Even it looks like he don't enjoy it. Anymore.
Thank you for an absolutely fantastic evening in Copenhagen. Thanks to the whole band
