Extremely underrated instruments in my book. You’ve got a lot to be proud of. Thanks for the great work! Oh and I got a question you might be able to answer. I have a Gibson with a bowl back from 1992, and there’s not a ton of info on them, but I’ve heard that Gibson May have worked with ovation to build them. Have you ever heard of anything like that before?

Beautiful Adamas! Ovation now makes her model as Ovation branded, not Adamas. I have 3 Ovations and the VXT. You're a good jazz player Michael! Many, many guitarist I know who play guitar well, end up learning jazz after they've mastered blues then rock. I'm not there yet, but it's about continual exploration and enjoyment!

Great playing as usual but you had a fishman acoustic amp right in front of fender, why electric amp instead of that? I also own an Ovation Elite (Not celebrity or Applause) and I think they’re underrated because of their celebrity lines. Mid range, S.Korea made ones (or Adamas) sound good (but different). New models have ergonomic backs so they sit better on your lap. I use mine with my Takamine dreadnought to get tone variety and I have no complaints at all.

I have got a 84 Ovation Legend cutaway . Works fine for jazz too. Use heavy Jazz pick and the tone-off treble . Joe Pass used a Ovaton too, and many others. The guitar is build like a tank. It sounds like a ovation. Al Dimeola said it has more like a popping sound. Many newage guitarist like this sound as Preston Reed with a longer scale length. Ovation sounds really good on a Henriksen Jazzamp. Ovation has a long deep sustain with this amp. Martin acoustic are more used among pro these days. Greetings from cold Norway.

When Jen panned over to Norm he looked like Burt Reynolds in Boogie Nights sitting there smoking a cigar watching Mark Wahlberg and Heather Graham fuck, once again proving my theory that Norman's Rare Guitars is Boogie Nights. The mounting evidence is too great too ignore: they both take place in the San Fernando Valley and they both center around LA specific industries that peaked in the 70s. Norm is Jack Horner, Mark is Dirk Diggler Jen is Rollergirl (always has her camera and never takes her Chucks off?), Joel is Scotty (weird homoerotic energy and always on the periphery), Nick is Reed Rothschild, Lemmo is the new kid Jack brings in and Frank Stallone is the Colonel (who supplies all the coke). I mean it's pretty obvious to me.
