Thanks for watching... In this video I share with the Chrome Kadet Sling. I think this is good sling pack it has some pretty decent features included. The largest selling point of this sling is the capacity at 9 liters. The sling needs a little more organization and it would be nice to be able to switch the shoulder strap from left to right.

Definitely need more sling bags, so useful. Big enough for a tablet, security features, weather resistant, and easy to shift front to back. After that it's all about the extras. That's why I like your reviews. Tell me what I need to know, bottom line up front (BLUF) then the little touches.

I just ordered the all black, murdered out, chrome version. I almost bought the night version with the red zipper pulls. I dig your mini-mesh bags for organizing. I'm thinking about getting some of that black heat-shrink tape for the zippers. I think that they could have done something a little more stealth for the zipper pulls. YOOOO shout out on the Hart utility knives! I saw the 2-pack of those a couple months back and had to do a double take! A lot of makers would have charged 60-70 bucks for them.. I grabbed the last one, and gave the second to a friend!

Good review but I went with the 511 LV10 based on one of your older videos George. It has a lot more features for around the same price when it’s on sale.

Slings and I dont get along. But if I use one it has to be compact or I just use a regular pack. For the size of these, I would just go with my Osprey messenger bag over my shoulder. I don't think I've seen you do Osprey messenger bag. Maybe they dont make them anymore since mine is 5 years old. Thanks for post
Nice. I've been eyeing this exact model for a while now, as my AER DAY SLING 2 seems a tad small to carry all my stuff, and there is no way for me to attach a foldable umbrella (it rains a lot where I live).
That external bottom straps seem perfect for that exact purpose.

I’ve had the black mini kadet for a year and use it everyday. However the one thing I wished a chrome would change on all of their sling bags is that back slot where they make the U locks for bicycles 🔒 to fit in. Mannnn not all of us ride bikes like that chrome! Make that thing into a pocket just by stitching up the bottom part and this bag would be the best! Still a big fan of chrome no matter what though.

Hi, I wanted to know which of the 2 chrome kadet is more resistant as a fabric the blckchrm 22x or the other black aluminum version?

I'm curious if this will fit a surface pro 7 in it (11.4in x 7.9in); I need a bag like this to carry to conventions or places I would need access to a computer and it would be nice to not have to carry a full backpack.

Do you have any issues carrying the MR over the left shoulder while using the strap pad?

Hi, I've just bought this bag online and will get it in some days :) just wanted to ask if you are having any issues with the metal buckle in the shoulder strap...I've seen some reviews where it gets released without pushing the button, just by pulling the straps with little force...it can be a problem if something expensive is carried inside; thanks for your reviews
Heya, George! Thanks for the review. I'm torn between this bag and the Metromonger for camera carry as well (a full frame mirrorless). Do you think you can squeeze in your Tenba BYOB into the Kadet? According to the online specs, the Tenba BYOB is slightly too deep for the Kadet, but I don't know how much give the bag has...
I love how it has a stabilisation strap, the only reason I would use that is if I needed to run and I had the bag on me or don't want the bag moving has much cuz I move my body a lot, I twist and turn a lot and that's one of the reasons I don't use a sling bag any more plus my last bag the zipper broke and I just haven't found a sling bag I like enough, mostly I look out the pockets and how it's set up and I just haven't found the right one but I might get this one but a $100 for a bag ion know ...maybe I'll get it ...maybe
Could you fit a era cap in there
Do you have any difficulty in tightening the shoulder strap? My other chrome bag is smooth as silk when tightening it, but my new Kadet is extremely difficult to tighten. I need two hands to do so and it feels like the edge of the strap is rubbing too much on the edge of the buckle slot.
Love the honest review, can you review the Chrome Tensile Hip Pack? Seems pretty spacious also can be worn as a sling bag but would love to see a more in depth look into the bag.
Or the mini kadet sling to compare the sizes.

Fastener where you removed sternum strap is great place to secure bicycle lock key for easy access. Just set up with a spare male fitting clip. Sorry, doesn't appear that I can add a pic.

10 Chrome bags found online, only one or two models come with silver buckle. I find this really weird. Why they have to paint all buckles black?
Looks great but inside pockets a no go. All your stuff will slide out and into a pile in the denter

Is there a way to ccw for off body carry? I found an eagle creek wayfinder crossbody M bag, its back ipad mini compartment lets a holster stick to material and spare mags. The little travel bag cost 17 clearanced from rei, i bought 2 blks, a orange blue red one, a green and brown rei one made by eagle creek, all same foot print bag. All cheap as hell with rip stop and etc.
Ive had vertx, 511 discreet series, vanquest, etc where though I carried a 17 on my hip, I enjoyed a 19 or 26 in my eagle creek. Inside I have reg edc stuff from charger and cable, anker battery, I carry a benchmade grip in pocket, but have an esee 3 in bag, gloves, spare mask, dark angel med kit and an extra tq. I have a work and private phone, field note notebook and pens, ear phones etc in the bag. No one has asked if i had a pew pew inside, where as the vertx, goruck, etc I may carry stuff in, if I indeed had a firearm, thats annoying.
So far i also use alpaka bravo max, back lined pocket, accepts velcro holsters and etc, I use that bag, goin back and forth with eagle creek. So far no ones had a bargain quality shoulder bag thats not expensive as hell, that truly blends in.
Know any others that can be used in a obc ccw role? But still carry multiple things? I have an aer tech 2 iirc coming in? Has compartment for ipad and diff for macbook, which is exactly what I need hahaha. Tabby will go in main compartment, premier soft armor and med, ccw, all will go in that other compartment.
