I'm living for all the new Zelda content I get to watch thanks to that trailer. Everything has been amazing, from Zeltik, to Monster Maze, to NBC, all of it.

It's also worth noting that the bokoblins on the talus had long but regular horns, while the bokoblins in the latest trailer had spearheads instead. Definitely an older build.

Haven’t seen anybody else mention this yet, but did you notice the stones with the swirling green energy are literally tear shaped? If these tear shaped rocks are going to be falling down from the sky islands to Hyrule below, then that undoubtedly is where the name Tears Of the Kingdom is coming from.

Can we all just admire zeltik for going out of his way to make sure he's goes to the exact same locations for the perfect comparison and camera angles? That some good ass dedication my guy, kudos!

I find the use of color interesting. Blue is associated with Naryu, the goddess of wisdom. This makes sense given the sheikah’s technology. Zelda is given control over this part. Green is associated with Farore, the goddess of courage. Link is given control over this part. I wonder if this idea plays into TotK with the green shrines? And obviously Red is Din the goddess of power, but Ganon has full control over that part.

"Are these stones equivalent to shrines?"

This is definitely interesting. I haven’t seen anyone put this much thought into these yet and it was great to hear your thoughts on it. Can’t wait to hear more of your thoughts in the coming weeks and months.

I think you pretty much nailed it at the end there. Let's not forget that the shrines send us deep underground. So, it could be that these are the inverse, sending us into the sky for some kind of trial. Especially now that underground appears to be evil territory

This video was so good! I like the idea of when you complete the ‘trial’ or puzzle of the green stones, you gain access to certain sky islands. I like the idea of them actually already being there, but rather after completing the stone’s event the sky islands are then able to be seen. Thanks for the video!!

This is a cool possibility. I think that the magic arm is bringing back the magic meter found in other Zelda games and collecting the vials on Link's hip will increase the meter. It could be that these stones are sources of magic and can refill the vials as there is no other natural source for magic found in BoTW. The shrines could refill like wells over time, so the "inactive" stones have already been used to refill Link's magic. Glowing stones are full of magic and can be used the refill the magic vials. Just a thought.

It's worth pointing out that the first time we saw a spiral of green energy, it was presumably used to seal Ganondorf. So it makes sense that the stones surrounded by a similar green spiral would be in a sort of sealed state as well.

Your theories are so good…I really want to know what happened to the shrines, I know some people didn’t, but I really liked them. Guess we’ll see in May!

I'm betting you can fast travel to them, Since the shrines were used by players for fast travel my guess is Nintendo took note of the most used shrines and replaced some of them with these stones for players to fast travel to.

The stone shapes reminds me a lot to the time stones of skyward sword, but these are green and SS are blue. So maybe they're related to time travel? Since there are things that doesn't match at all to some scenes on the trailers shown so far. Unless they have changed A LOT of things during the developing process.

Do you think it would be worth covering that Epona was shown in the trailer? It can either mean Epona will be apart of the base game/story or it’s just because of an amiibo. I think it’s kinda interesting imo. I personally really hope Epona has a role and possibly even have something to do with Lon Lon Ranch if reconstructed

I was waiting for a video just about these!! Great work discovering that circular ring in the sky!! I had similar thoughts :) I could imagine that each sky island has an egg shaped stone that you send down to the surface and it's how you travel back up to the sky island it's associated from. I bet you'll also use the spirals to warp to across Hyrule's surface. Cheers Ed!

The glowing green stone that was shown on a Hinox's necklace in the trailer could be related to the activation of the spiral stones. Maybe they function similarly to the shrine orbs in Breath of the Wild.
