Glad you called out pre-drive checks. As a moto and auto enthusiast, its so habitual at this point to check over anything I’m operating, car or bike, to make sure it’s buttoned up and not going to endanger myself or the people around me. You can only do so much, but at LEAST taking ownership of what you CAN control on the road (yourself and your vehicle) can help mitigate some of the bs of other peoples behavior out there.
Check lists save lives
Being able to drive so many cars so often is a dream to me! I'd rather own one or two cars and be able to test drive many different cars than own 5+ and be restricted to them!

HI Tedward, I just wanted to let you know that I recently had a fantastic opportunity to go to Italy and drive around Monza in a Huracan Tecnica, and your video a little while back really inspired me to pick the Tecnica over my other options. My other options were an AMG Black Series, an F8, a 458, a GT3, and an Evo RWD. I have always been a fan of Lamborghini, and my heart was set on the GT3 for the track performance. But the sheer joy and brutality of experiencing that 5.2L V10 at max rpms at top gear was such an incredible experience for me. Even the other seasoned drivers at the track were saying the Tecnica is such a brutally fun machine to drive, although it's not as fast. It's all about the driver experience! So, thanks for making awesome content like this - it inspires in many ways you'll never know!
I never thought that I would hear a Lambo described as "bougie."
I love sporty or super cars that have everyday use like this one. Sure, if you spec this out for a track, you can get it to drive faster and handle better on a track....but it's not going to make a huge difference on the street. it's just going to be annoying. this lambo built tough has plenty plenty of power and handling as is and doesn't need summer tires and slammed to the ground to be enjoyed. Making it tough and easier to drive daily, including in bad weather, just makes it SO SO much more fun and doesn't take much if anything away from its sportiness.

I feel like Lamborghini, in particular, is a brand of car you want to be seen in/heard. This thing kinda fits that bill.

Great video, what are your thoughts on Euro NCAP penalising for lack of physical wiper stalks, blinkers etc? The steering wheel switches seem cumbersome on this.

The Sterrato is one of the silliest and coolest cars Lamborghini have ever made, and that includes the LM002.
I find it crazy that you can use a button on the wheel itself to turn on the windshield wipers.

All of the cars I've owned with auto headlights turn on the headlights when you have the wipers on. It's strange that the more expensive cars like the Huracan don't do that.

It drives me equally as nuts but I at least get why people don't think about it
On the other hand what I see getting verry popular lately are people driving with just there DRLs on in the dark. I don't get that in the slightest. It's incredible to me that people don't notice that the light output is terrible and totally different from the normal headlights.
I think a solution to this would be to force automakers into turning the rear lights on together with the DRLs. So at least others can see you driving around in the dark with pretty much no light ore in bad weather.
I genuinely don't understand why that is not mandated.

I agree that this is very much on the manufacturers. I've been in rentals and forgotten to turn on proper lights for way too long because of the crappy user interface. Also because of lighting conditions in the city it can be hard to tell whether proper lights are on or just DRLs.
Part of the problem is that a modern dash is lit up regardless of whether the lights are turned on or not. There is no clear indication on what state the car is in. In an older car this is not a problem because without headlights the dash is dark, and won't be able to see the speed or anything and very quickly notice it.
I don't like to auto stuff as well I like my cars just without the babysitting tech

its all relative. and honestly the Lambo is not that fast compared to some of the new cars out today. The Honda is plenty fast =)
it really amuses me that you have a quarter million dollar hyper car and have to look at google maps on your phone in your seat like I did in my NA Miata. Does the Huracan not have CarPlay?
